Great service and we are so pleased with our cantilever parasol. Fabulous quality and value for money.

The assembly instructions could be improved, but we got there in the end.

The delivery firm had the wrong house number on their paperwork, but luckily I was home to intercept them going to the wrong house.

Really poor communication, never answer the phone or reply to emails. Our pergola fitted a month ago, Jupiter 4x3. Website says aluminium frame & galvanised louvres.,Fitters said it was defiantly slow aluminium! Tried finding out the real answer, but speaking to the man on the moon is easier!!

The delivery service was first class, the guys were polite and helpful. They had quite a walk, but no grumbles!! Communication was excellent. The product is also excellent, and great value.

Dishonest company who fail the reply to emails; fail to answer the phone. Do not send good s s when they issue a refund its fails as they don’t have the funds to return it. They clearly move money to another account, fraudsters.

I placed an order and paid on the 13th of May 2026. Modern Rattan quickly advised that they could no longer fulfil the order as the garden furniture was out of stock. They advised they would refund the money. A month later I am still waiting for my £950.00! I have phoned and E-mailed on multiple occasions and I have had no response at all! Avoid this company at all costs, as I have no goods, no communication and no refund!
Update: The "live chat" function has enabled me to make contact and Modern Rattan have advised they will re-process the refund.
UPDATE : STILL WAITING FOR THE ACTUAL REFUND TO HAPPEN, IT IS NOW 18TH OF JUNE!

Placed an order for Maze 3 Seater Sofa Set on 14th May 2026, I have emailed them several times about delivery and have had no response. My next step is to contact my Credit Card Company and cancel the order if I don't get a response.

Product was made well. Very sturdy. I was unsure of the product when ordering as it only had a drawn image. However, when it arrived it exceeded our expectations.

Ordered an item on a 5 to 10 day delivery. Heard nothing after 10 days, just initial email saying thanks for the order, also states any issues or concerns to contact them. No response from customer services and so had to go via paypal. Looks like reviews are based off of easy orders. Any issues and you get ignored. Not a sign of a reputable company. *Update* No delivery after 15 days and no updates despite a phone call a week ago from them suprised by the review. Awaiting a refund now from paypal and have ordered elsewhere.

Although very happy with the product, when ordering a Maze Bali 6 seater round table and chairs the packaging stated “Round 4 seater table”.
After a couple of chats, it was pointed out the tables for 4 seaters and 6 seaters are the same size, and only the number of chairs is different.
The packaging needs to be clearer or the website needs to clearly show the tables for 4 and 6 are the same table.

Everything was great. The set was fabulous really comfortable and great quality. The only negative is that Modern Rattan are not great communicators. Very difficult to get hold of and very few updates on progress. Otherwise a great experience

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY !

Placed an order and same as other reviews it was either damaged or lost in transit . Called over a dozen times , left voicemails only spoke once . Numerous emails which have never been responded too. Have my money but 30 days later I still don’t have the goods .

I have reported these for fraud and contacted my bank to get a full refund .

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY CHEAP PRICING AS GOU WILL NOT GET THE GOODS AND YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY COMMUNICATION

TERRIBLE COMPANY …… “AVOID”!!!

An initial bit of confusion at the start where we didn’t get any info about the order/delivery. I panicked that I’d been scammed but was actually reassured when the manager phoned out of hours to explain the mix up. Massive effort by the company to fulfil the order quickly and very pleased with final product.

Don’t be fooled by the cheaper prices. I placed an order on 23rd March with a 5 to 10 working day delivery timescale. I had no contact from the company after they took my £1200 payment until I contacted them multiple times after the 10 working days had expired. I have been told my order got damaged during transit but I have never even received an email to say it had been dispatched so I doubt this. They then gave me a £30 refund “ To get a takeaway to enjoy on the new sofa when it arrives!” When I rang on the 16th April I was told that they had dispatched a new order but could not give me a timescale at all for when it would be delivered. They wouldn’t even confirm that it would be in 5 to 10 working days as it still says in the website. I have lost total faith in the company so I asked for a full refund, which they did, minus the £30 they had already refunded! I have now bought the furniture for £200 more on Cox and Cox but the customer service and communication was worth every penny and a lot less stressful than dealing with Modern Rattan!

Ordered item on Line Dec 2nd had a order number , 10 days later nothing, don’t answer phone calls or emails, eventually so called live
chat said Courier lost item even though I was never advised item posted, I have asked for a refund, should I not receive it will contact my credit card company, Read other Reviews not the best .

Following numerous phone calls still haven’t been able to contact customer services and am now wondering if I have been scammed

We bought a Maze lounge set and 2 Sun lounger sets last summer and winter covers. Apart from a slight defect on one of the legs, we were really happy with the furniture. I did email about the leg but didn’t get a reply. As it wasn’t too bad we didn’t bother trying to push for an exchange.
We used the covers over the winter but when we came to use the furniture in the spring the genuine Maze covers for the Sun loungers were perfect but the other make sent for the sofa set (as they didn’t have the Maze cover in stock) had disintegrated on the inside. We had black plastic all over the furniture and decking. Some had marked the decking, which we had to jet wash off.
I contacted by email as soon as I noticed and was asked to send photos, which I did.
This was in the spring and, even though I have sent a number of follow up emails, we still have not received a replacement or refund.
I would definitely NOT recommend their furniture covers and now would not recommend the company as, although the customer service is good when you are buying, they are not helpful when things go wrong.
I would still like a refund for the cover so that I can buy a genuine Maze one.

I pre ordered a Winchester lounger set to match my other Winchester range - I did chase my order a couple of times and always got very professional service and up to date information. I am very pleased with the delivery company who delivered my set they were in contact almost every day for a week! Once my loungers arrived I was more than happy.
