Package not delivered as agreed to my grandson in Bath.
Eventually told to collect it from a depot in Bristol which would mean at least a 90 minute return journey.
Hopeless customer service.

This site is full of thieves. I bought 3 1/18 scale models, 2 of which arrived damaged due to very poorly made packaging! They placed the models upside down without any protection. I contacted the company more than once and by more than one email, but I never got a response. I opened a dispute on PayPal and am waiting for the resolution. Do not buy from them because if something goes wrong during shipping, you already know what to expect from these thieves! I don't even know if I won't visit their store and they will pay in another way. Wait and see...

Ordered a 1/24 Lamborghini Huracán model for my Nephew. Order was processed and shipped within days to the UK I found the experience excellent for the following reasons-

Bought the Dodge Challenger R/T convertible 1970 model car (mt31264pu) and although delivery took a few days longer than I thought, I'm happy with the quality. The paint quality is quite good and there is a lot of detail for a 1:24 scale model.

I wish I'd read these reviews before ordering. I ordered a model car to the UK, I was given no delivery information and the parcel never arrived. Despite several messages to Model Car World, who told me the package had been lost, then delivered to house, I never received it, it's been nearly 3 months. Terrible customer service throughout, avoid at all costs.

I paid for the model over three weeks ago and no answer, no shipping number, no model. The phone number is not working, the complaints I sent to their email address remained unanswered. They're a bunch of thieves. I bought models from them throughout the years, but I think they changed owners this year in April.
I conclusion, stay away from this scumbags!!!

I have only wasted time and money with them.
I never had notice of the order's arrival.
No contact during the supposed shipment and they asked me for more shipping costs to send me the product again...

I have been a customer for some time and made purchases but I never needed customer service until now and the first time I needed them they treated me terribly. My model arrived to me badly damaged and not from shipping the shipping box was fine, the model was sent to me that way. It was a sale item but no reason to send me someones return! I believe that's what it was. I emailed the issue and I was offered very little compensation. Then when I complained I am now being ignored! Terrible company PLEASE STAY AWAY! They deserve no stars!!

No compréis en esta tienda.
Envían el pedido con DHL y no hacen el reparto ni se ponen en contacto con el cliente y devuelve el pedido. Y dicen que estás ausente cuando es mentira.
Cuando pides explicaciones de lo que ha pasado se desentienden de todo es más culpan al cliente.
Y lo único que te dicen es que tienes que pagar de nuevo. Y no los saques de hay.
Y mucho ojo que son unos ladrones y cuando pides la devolución de tu dinero, no te lo devuelven todo.
Eso es estafar y tratar a los clientes como mierdas.

This is a UK company who ship to the UK! And they do it very well

Hice una compra hace un mes, al cabo de este tiempo, al no recibir ningún mensaje, llamada o correo que me indique alguna novedad en el envío, les mando un correo. Me contestan que DHL no pudo realizar la entrega por hallarme ausente de casa, y que lo han devuelto a origen. Ni DHL ni modelcarworld me facilitaron ningún nº de seguimiento, ni me llamaron al hacer la entrega, ni un triste SMS o correo...NADA. Ahora me ofrecen manda´rme otra vez la mercancía pagando yo los 9,95€ del coste de devolver la mercancía. Les llamé por teléfono y les dejé bien claro que el eror era o suyo o de DHL, pero en ningún caso mío. Ni caso, es lo que hay y si quieres que te devuelvan el dinero, te descuentan los 9,95. Eso es lo que vulgarmente se viene llamando estafa.

Don’t ship to UK. Will buy elsewhere from now on. 😡

Me han llegado 6 productos dañados y no se hacen cargo, me dicen que puedo devolverlo a Alemania pagando los costes de envío, lo que me supondría más que lo que me han costado. Decepción absoluta.

A great Company to deal with. Terrific selection of all car manufacture's vehicles. All my transactions (dozens) made over the phone and orders dispatched same day and delivered next day.in perfect condition despite being quite fragile - perfect packaging ensures this. Highly recommended.
