MoBusiness was created out of a simple truth: small and micro businesses are being asked to run their operations on software that was never designed for them. Most CRM and ERP platforms are built for big teams, big budgets and big IT departments — leaving everyday Australian businesses stuck juggling multiple tools, spreadsheets and subscriptions just to get through the week. After years of working directly with small business owners, our founders saw the same pattern over and over again: the real barrier wasn’t willingness to adopt software — it was that the software itself was too complex, too expensive, and didn’t reflect how small teams actually work. So in early 2024, they started building the tool they wished existed: something simple, unified, and genuinely helpful. What began as a lightweight CRM quickly grew as owners told us what they really needed — quoting, jobs, scheduling, customer notes, reminders, invoicing, and a way to keep everything in one place. By listening to these businesses, the platform naturally evolved from modCRM into MoBusiness, a “most-in-one” system designed for real operators who don’t have time for training courses or twelve different apps. Today, MoBusiness helps small and micro teams manage customers, work, and payments from a single, consistent platform built around clarity, speed, and ease of use. Our focus is — and always will be — supporting the people who keep our communities running: the sole traders, the family-run operations, the service providers, and the small business owners who do the work, keep the books, and answer the phone — often all in the same day.
