Bought a hoodie from this shop, that’s claims to be “proudly Canadian.” Hoodie cost $115 on sale. Didn’t fit. To return, there’s no free shipping and the options are far easier if you’re in USA. Strange if your company is “proudly Canadian.” You have to print off an elaborate form, then pay to ship back yourself. They never did refund so I contacted them and had to provide evidence that I shipped it and it arrived.
I ordered a hoodie on January 16
I ordered a hoodie on January 16. It supposedly shipped on January 18, expected to arrive on January 27th, I then ordered a T-shirt the next day, the 17th, possibly the 18th. The T-Shirt arrived on 24th. Today is the 29th and my hoodie still hasn't arrived. Tracking information hasn't shown movement since it shipped. The Chat Bots told me to wait until the 31st to process a refund. I don't want a refund I want my hoodie. I didn't think getting my order would be a problem. I have shopped with them since 2015 and never had an issue.

ZERO stars!! This place is a joke and not a funny one. I ordered a Witt Jr jersey for my grandsons Christmas present on Dec 12th, they have not shipped it, and now they’re telling me (after I contacted them) that it is severely delayed, that it is out of stock. It was NOT out of stock when I ordered it.
Do NOT waste your time or money on this so called site!

They advertise if you order today 12/9/25, you will get it my Christmas. However, once your order is placed, the ship date is changed to be starting on Christmas eve December 22nd through December 30th! They knew it would not be delivered until sometime in January 2026 My card was charged on December the 9th. They denied my request to cancel the order, and the reply was that I have to wait till you get the item, then return it. False advertising all the way.
Failure of an online retailer
Ordered the same jersey five times, and repeatedly received the wrong size. This is through both MLB Shop and Fanatics directly, with no success. The worst!

Terrible cancelation policy
According to the customer service rep, who barely spoke English, there is a thirty minute windows t o cancel an order. That is completely unacceptable .I placed my order approximately two hours prior to my request to cancel. They do b this to discourage you from canceling. My entire order is being returned and I will never place another order with the MLB shop.
Horrible shipping and customer service
Ordered a hoodie. After a week of waiting for them to ship which THEY FEEL IS FAIR. My item still has not shipped. Now they say I have to wait another 3 days before I can try to do anything. Thier customer service is horrible. I get into chat and they person aiza disappears and stops chatting. 10 minutes later comes back and apologized saying they are busy. Really you jump from customer to customer in chat. Stay with 1 until your finished. Have no idea on the quality yet we shall see but would tell anyone thinking to stay away this company makes the MLB look bad. Im not even sure how they can legally use MLB in their name..they are a joke

Totally trash customer service. They collected tax upfront when I paid, shipped it internationally, and then I had to pay tax AGAIN to pick it up, because they didn't use it to pay the shipper.
When I told them about this, their customer service just said TAX is for shipping the item... Are you crazy? fraudulent crooks
Wildly bad customer service
Wildly bad customer service, to no fault of the customer service reps. I placed an order for an item on sale a month ago, and everything got worse from there. Zero communication besides being told it is delayed one time. Customer service SAYS it was a preorder - um, what? No it wasn't! I didn't sign up to wait months for a supposed restock on something I was supposed to get within a week or two. Unacceptable. They finally refunded my shipping, but claim there is nothing else they can do. No updates. No estimated delivery. Just insistence that they are doing everything they can. NOT. I try really hard to be patient with delays - things happen. But this is just straight up dishonesty. I still don't know if I will ever receive my item. Ridiculous behavior on their part. Honesty goes a long ways guys. Learn that.

Its a shame that the hobby has turned into what it is. Ordering from their website shows items in stock, but after 2 weeks of waiting, I get my order is delayed.
Then after numerous calls to try and reach a human, I was told I cannot cancel order because its past the cut-off. Which also meant I cant get a refund. After constant explaining that I wasn't going to receive what I ordered because it was out of stock, finally someone put in a ticket to cancel the order and get a refund. When I ordered it said in stock, so how did I end up not getting my order. I am pretty sure my items went to someone who bought much more than I did, so they fill the big orders first and not in order of which order was placed first. Otherwise explain why I could order as it clearly stated the item was in stock, or the add to cart tab would have been greyed out. The ease in which they take your money is as usual, but trying to get your money back is like trying to get blood from a turnip. Terrible business and last time I ever buy from this company.

Placed an order 10/10 and no where on the listing or receipt did it say it was a “preorder-order” item. I checked back a few day later and it stated “this is a pre-order item an is not expected to start shipping until 10/20”. Bummed out but ok, I can wait. Then I get a email stating that it shipped on 10/24, ETA 10/29. Today is 11/2 and no sign of it. Tracking info says the carrier has not received the package.
Contacted CS via chat and was told it was likely lost… Asking if I wanted a reship or refund. I want my damn hat. Asked for a reship and then get told it’s actually out of stock and won’t be restocked for 2 weeks. After a few choice words suddenly, my package will arrive 11/5?
Clearly, they don’t know their heads from their tails over there. Highly suggest looking on Lids.com or New Era’s website instead.

Go Anywhere Else!
Ordered a jersey and found out after ordering it would not arrive for 6-8 weeks. Called to cancel the order the NEXT DAY and was told it was "outside" the cancellation window, and my only option was to wait until it arrived return it for a refund. It arrived and I returned the jersey per their process. Got an email stating instead of refunding my money, they were giving me a gift certificate to their website. They said that's all they could do and if I had a problem I would need to go thru PayPal. I disputed thru PayPal and was refunded the next day. Will obviously never deal with this company again.

I ordered a Kirk Gibson signed baseball from MLB Shop on 10/4/25 because it was advertised as a 30% discount with a GLOVE promo code. The discount was applied throughout the checkout process but when I received the order confirmation it wasn’t included. When what I received did not match the description—they charged me $449.99 instead of the advertised $337.49 (see pictures) I contacted customer service multiple times, but they refused to honor what they advertised. I then returned the product and they wrote that I’d receive a refund of my money in 2-5 days. It’s 16 days later and I’ve yet to receive a refund and they are no longer responding to my email inquiries. This company is scary and disingenuous and I’m writing to warn others of how they do business. Lastly, I posted online and they suddenly were very responsive. They asked me to take down my original post and since then they are no longer communicating. I would caution others to double-check details and be wary of this company, their offers and their refund promises.

DO NOT ORDER. Three months and still cannot provide a tracking number. a whole month of trying to get a refund (still hasnt happened) this is not a "sketchy" website. This is a completely fraudulent company that nobody should order from.
