Misen customer support experience is done right
I had an issue with my order and contacted customer support for help. Holly ( from Misen ) assisted me throughout the entire process and made what could have been a frustrating situation surprisingly easy to resolve.
She was professional, responsive, and clearly committed to finding the best possible solution. What I especially appreciated was that she did not just answer my questions, but genuinely tried to help and made sure I received the best outcome possible.
I was genuinely impressed by the level of service Holly provided throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond to help, and it is clear that Misen as a company stands behind its customers by having people like her on their team. Experiences like this are exactly what builds trust and leaves a lasting positive impression.

Love Misen's products and customer service
I've been buying products from Misen since I saw a Kickstarter release of a Chef's knife several years ago.
Next, I bought a Carbon Steel pan from another Kickstarter campaign they had. That pan is beautiful and, for me, was a good introduction to carbon steel.
When they came out with their nitrided, Nonstick Carbon Steel pans via another Kickstarter, I jumped at the chance and ordered all three sizes. Those pans are my absolute favorites, eliminating the extra work needed to maintain regular carbon steel, cook just as well, are much lighter, and husband-proof; if you have regular carbon steel pans, you know what I mean!
Their customer service is top-notch. They respond quickly to questions and welcome feedback and requests for new products. Their Kickstarters give you a chance to get in on new products early and at a great price.
Bad pan, worse customer service
Very disappointed with not just the pan, but how Misen customer service treated me. Had lots of problems with sticking and cleaning the 10" carbon steel pan. Followed all their instructions and tips found on their website. Lodged my complaints direct to Misen and their bots simply regurgitated their return policy (I was over 60 days) and their instruction videos on care and cleaning. I did it all and was convinced the pan was a lemon. I asked to "speak" to a person, and can only assume the next several email exchanges were with a human, but could have been a bot. Anyway, got nowhere with them, and they didn't seem to care that they created a very unhappy customer. Will never do business with them again, and I would steer anyone away from them. Buy from a company that cares about their customer.

The pans should not be advertised as…
The pans should not be advertised as non-stick. The instructions for seasoning is cumbersome and lengthy. Even if you manage to get to the point that food doesn't stick, which didn't happen, then one must proceed carefully since some foods will remove the seasoning and re-seasoning is called for, yearly. Seasoning is a time consuming process that needs repeating; an impractical assumption that customers want cookware that requires so much of their time before they are useful. The customer service from Misen is poor to non-existent, faulting customer misuse. The pans are expensive. I bought three for gifts and not one is being kept. All complaints were that being non-stick is just not true. Earlier, I bought several Misen knives, some for gifts, and some for myself. The knives are nice which led me to believe the quality of the pans would also be good and so also make great gifts. Boy, was I wrong!

Two issues with this pan:
1. The "nonstick" is temporary. The nitrided steel surface requires the same ongoing seasoning as bare carbon steel. The nonstick properties are entirely maintenance-dependent. It will stick if you don't baby the seasoning, or use it to cook acidic food like the company claims you can.
2. Within 8 months of normal use, the thin outer nitrided surface layer started chipping and peeling, exposing the aluminum core underneath. The light gray areas that appear are NOT discoloration. The black steel layer is physically gone, sitting lower than the surrounding surface, with raw aluminum showing through. I filed a warranty claim. Misen's support responded by telling me "there is no coating on this pan to chip, flake, peel, or come off, it's like saying stainless steel has a coating." I went back and forth with them multiple times and gave up.
Note: I tried leaving this review on Misen's own website and it never appeared. They appear to be filtering negative reviews.

I purchased 3 pieces of cookware that were on sale and then 2 days later they were on sale for a better price. I reached out to Misen right away. Andrea handled the issue quickly and refunded my credit card for the difference in price. Everything went so smoothly. I appreciate the prompt attention.
Great Products with Matching Customer Service
The end-products have been great and as advertised. Misen's customer service is amazingingly fast, personal and on-point. They seem to get it, understanding the customer's needs / requests. I appreciate that in today's AI dominated customer service environment.

My experience was great with Misen after purchasing the 18 " roasting pan. I had an issue with the delivery being late and their response was quick and with details. I can also say that they stand behind their product because I received my first order with a few scratches. The Misen team handled the situation beyond expectations and making the experience a lot smoother than anticipated. I will definitely purchase from them again. Outstanding customer service!!! Honors Their Lifetime Warranty
Honored the lifetime warranty with no hassle even though I didn't have an order number. I purchased the pan through the original Kickstarter. I uploaded a screenshot of the Kickstarter page and a picture of the broken handle. The customer service rep asked me for the size of the pan and my address, and that was it. The replacement will ship in 2-3 days free of any charge. Excellent customer service.

No warranty on sticking for Misen trademark nonstick pans!!!
I bought a set of Misen Carbon Nonstick™ Frying Pans in December 2025 and have only used one of them. It worked wonders for a few months and by March I noticed the "nonstick magic" starting to go away. When I tried to file a warranty claim with Misen, they responded saying that "Sticking and discoloration aren’t covered under our warranty."
My bad for not reading Misen's warranty policy carefully, but it's misleading to claim that they have a lifetime warranty on their Nonstick™ Frying Pans when the warranty excludes the sticky part. What's the point of buying these pans?

Good customer support (once you get past the chat bot). Had an issue with a knife after 6 years, they honored the lifetime warranty and sent a replacement without any hassle.
Best in the market
Misen has all my heart when it comes to their products and their customer service. Years ago I bought chefs knife and a pairing knife and that’s my all time favorite. Now I came to back to them for several products. Their chef spoons are real favorite in my household. One spoon didn’t get delivered out of 5. Even after hours the team really responded and within 2 days they shipped me that spoon. They really care about their customers. Not alone their products are great their customer service is top notch. I would do business with them blindly any day. Go check out Misen today. I love all their styles and they’re pretty affordable for 5 ply .

I've thrown out my second misen frying…
I've thrown out my second misen frying pan today. The coating wore off after less than 2 yrs. I followed the cooking(heat)instructions as well as the cleaning. Won't be purchasing ever never. This review may not make it to anyone who needs to read it,but this is an honest review and I hope it helps someone making a decision to purchase this crap
