'The aesthetic quality of a product is integral to its usefulness because products we use every day affect our person and our well-being. But only well-executed objects can be beautiful.' - D. Rams This quote was on our shop window for years and we still stand by it completely. Now more and more people are (partially) working from home, there seems to be a growing appreciation for nice workspace environments and all the items within it that make it so. And that is exactly what we are all about: Refined goods for the home and desk. Misc Store carries a carefully selected range of stationery, everyday carry, design objects and furniture to aid in finding the right work-life balance. Postalco, Caran D'ache, Traveler's Company, Monocle, The School of Life, Karimoku New Standard, Midori, LAMY, le typographe, Penco, Hightide, Areaware, Classiky, Frama, Futagami, hibi, Toyo Steel, Kinfill & Hasami Porcelain are but a few of our personal favorites found at misc-store.com & in our Amsterdam store. Hats off to you Dieter; we couldn’t have said it better. After nearly 10 years on the De Clercqstraat, we've moved and you can now find us on the wonderful Elandsgracht, arguably one of the nicest shopping streets in the city. Hope to see you soon!

I ordered for the first time at Misc…
I ordered for the first time at Misc Store for items like planners and I really want to complement them for the fast communication about an item that was unfortunately not available. They gave me two options 1. refund or 2. to choose another item. I chose to get an item and asked them to surprise me. I was really happy with the order and customer service and will definitely order again.

Fast and well
Very fast delivery even though I am from a different country. The package was all in tacked and there was also very sweet, little postcard inside. I had a chance to shop in the store, in person, some time ago and the woman that was a seller at the moment was the sweetest, most helpful person. I have only good memories and experiences with it <3

Product broke immediately, eventually resolved
The product I ordered broke immediately upon first use. I emailed them asking for a resolution. They offered to replace or refund, I made a choice, but did not hear from them without a few email follow ups and ultimately it required a phone call. It was satisfactorily resolved but for 5 stars it should have been a bit more seamless, hence the 4 stars. Also I find the product price quality lacking - very expensive. Good quality products but not amazing.

Svar fra Misc Store
Dear Nicole,
I'm sorry the compact hole puncher broke immediately and that our service level did not meet your expectations.
I would like to nuance the no response or necessity to chase:
- 22-09 Confirmed you would like a refund
- 24-09 Asked if it would be refunded to the gift card (as it was paid via gift card with a remaining balance)
- 24-09 We confirmed refund to the gift card
- 29-09 Refund was processed after 7 days, within the 14-day window as per our terms and conditions.
We understand the few days without an update felt like silence, we should have mentioned the refund might take up to 14 days to be processed.
If anything still isn't right with the refund, please reply to our email and we'll sort it out straight away.
I do hope you'll find something else to treat yourself with!
Kind regards,
Leon
