Mini Maestros Music & Movement for 0-5s - Believing in Every Child’s Potential.
What We Do
We want your child to thrive, so we make it easy to support their well-being.
We embrace different learning styles and make learning fun.
We combine wonderful local communities with passionate music teachers, resulting in new friendships and creative, confident and expressive young minds and so much fun and laughter.
What We Want
We want every child to reach the primary school gates confident, excited to learn, and equipped with essential classroom skills and experience. We want every child to push those gates open with a skip in their step and a song in their heart.
Our 3 Step Process to Give Your Child the Best Start:
1. Enrol in a Mini Maestros class.
2. Let our age-appropriate, sequential, inclusive music and movement program provide a nurturing and fun space for you and your child to make social connections, develop confidence and be free to fully self-express.
3. Celebrate and connect with your wonderful local community as you marvel in the positive developments your child makes giving them confidence and sense of well-being.

Looking forward to the second time around
Our daughter has been attending Greensborough classes since she was a baby. This year she starts her last year and our son starts his first. We love the welcoming and warm environment. The program encourages skill and knowledge building in a fun and tailored way. We have regularly had our girl apply her learnings from class to other real world situations. We’re proud to say we go to mini maestros!

My daughter has been attending classes for two years now, she is more comfortable participating and exploring her own potential in a learning environment. We are blessed with Tim as her teacher he does a fantastic job by being engaging and patient with all the children. We look forward to going every week.

Hi there, we understand concerns around screen use, and we’d like to clarify how music is delivered in our classes.
Our teachers use a phone or small device purely as an audio player for short sections of recorded music that support specific movement and listening activities. There is no screen time for children, and the device is not shown to them.
Classes always include plenty of live music — teachers sing throughout the session and play guitar or ukulele, with recorded music used intentionally to expose children to a range of musical styles and instruments as part of our structured, educational program.

The host was rude to my child and I
The host was rude to my child and I - my child was excited by the hosts guitar and wanted to touch it. If the host had put it away out of her reach, she wouldn’t have bothered. Instead, she abruptly said to me “can you take her away?!?” It was rude and quite embarrassing in front of the other parents in the group. My child was around 19-20 months old at the time, of course she’s going to want to explore and investigate new things like musical instruments!
The other issue I had was the age group was too broad - 6 months to 2 years? It’s not very an appropriate. The session was too basic for my child. It’s no wonder she wanted to explore the musical instruments instead - she was bored!

Hi Erin. We are sorry you didn’t enjoy your free ‘Come & Try’ class. We expect that children need a few weeks to settle in to any new activity. Exploring the space and the instruments/ equipment are normal parts of the settling process, however our teachers’ priority is always on child safety. We recommend 3-week trials so that children have time to become familiar with the class activities and build confidence in the group setting. After this time they are more settled. In addition, our teachers carefully observe each child from week to week, noting their developmental stages and needs, and adjusting activities accordingly. 🎶 🐝💕 Mini Maestros

My son has absolutely loved Music Maestro’s at the Bendigo location. Rosie is so talented and he just adores her and I have found that he is truly learning (he started at approx 6 months and now 8 months)

I have a boy with special needs and Linda and Alison at Mini Maestros, Craigieburn were incredibly kind, accepting and so loving towards our son. They made every music session feel so inviting and warm. We loved our Saturday mornings there and will treasure the memory always.

Julia is truly one of a kind — a magical, nurturing, and inspiring teacher who brings so much heart into everything she does. From the very first class, it was clear she has an incredible gift for connecting with each child in her care.
She intuitively understands their personalities and adapts her approach so beautifully, making every lesson feel special, joyful, and full of discovery.
Our 3-year-old daughter absolutely lights up around Julia. Her confidence, curiosity, and love for music have flourished in ways we never expected. Julia doesn’t just teach — she cultivates creativity, self-expression, and genuine passion for learning.
We’re constantly amazed by her patience, playfulness, and boundless enthusiasm. She has created an environment where little ones don’t just learn music — they grow, dream, and believe in themselves. Dear Ana. I cannot express just how touched I am by your kind words. From the moment I met you and Miss E, I knew that someone special had come into my life. I have loved every moment of watching Miss E grow - both in size and in confidence. This year especially, Miss E’s confidence has been staggering to see. I felt like I was witnessing a beautiful, gentle flower bloom to its enormous potential. I know that all of us in the class felt the same way, and were often in awe of your amazing little girl. From someone who would hardly volunteer a sound in class, to now leading the class in singing to bumblebee, Miss E has brought me and others so much joy. My son absolutely adores coming to Mini Maestros. Tim is an amazing teacher - so patient and engaging with the children! He covers a variety of musical mediums to help kids develop their passion for music in a fun and simple way.

Class and teacher not engaging enough
Lovely teacher but there was too much talking and not enough engagement with the kids. They need consistency and speaking to the kids for long periods of time is not useful as they are still learning to process. Was not what we expected at all. Won't be returning.

At Mini Maestros, our program is carefully structured to support children’s learning, confidence, and understanding through music. Part of this includes short moments where teachers explain or model activities — this helps little ones know what to expect, build listening skills, and feel safe in the flow of the class. Our curriculum is based on 40+ years of research into how young children learn best through music, movement, turn-taking and language-rich interactions. 
We also encourage our teachers to bring their own warmth and personality to each lesson, while still following the same developmental sequence across all Mini Maestros classes. This means no two teachers look exactly the same in delivery, but the learning outcomes and structure remain consistent for children. 
We absolutely understand that every child — and every parent — has different expectations and learning styles. We’re sorry this experience didn’t meet yours, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective with us. Your feedback helps us continue supporting our teachers and refining how we communicate the purpose behind each part of the lesson.

Fun, educational and engaging
Tiff is professional, engaging and experienced as an educator. The concepts covered are educational, age relevant and on par to the needs of the child. The activities are fun, inclusive and bring so much joy to both the carer and child as participants! Highly recommended.

Great experience
Mini maestros has been great for my daughter. She loves singing and dancing and this gave her the perfect experience. The teachers are great and the classes are very engaging for my daughter.
