Mini Maestros Music & Movement for 0-5s - Believing in Every Child’s Potential.

What We Do

We want your child to thrive, so we make it easy to support their well-being.

We embrace different learning styles and make learning fun.

We combine wonderful local communities with passionate music teachers, resulting in new friendships and creative, confident and expressive young minds and so much fun and laughter.

What We Want

We want every child to reach the primary school gates confident, excited to learn, and equipped with essential classroom skills and experience. We want every child to push those gates open with a skip in their step and a song in their heart.

Our 3 Step Process to Give Your Child the Best Start:

1. Enrol in a Mini Maestros class.

2. Let our age-appropriate, sequential, inclusive music and movement program provide a nurturing and fun space for you and your child to make social connections, develop confidence and be free to fully self-express.

3. Celebrate and connect with your wonderful local community as you marvel in the positive developments your child makes giving them confidence and sense of well-being.

Disappointing experience

We were really looking forward to Mini Maestros, but unfortunately we didn’t have a positive experience. The group leader was frustrated that our children kept getting up to dance and wanted to touch the different instruments. The kids were 13 months old, so I’m not sure what she expected. We were made to feel like our children were “naughty” and left feeling disheartened and disappointed. We’ll be going back to Musical Minds where the children are encouraged to play, experiment, and develop a love for music.

Hi Erin. Thanks for taking the time to send in your review of your free ‘Come and Try’ class. We are sorry you felt it wasn’t a positive experience. Our teachers know that all children need to move to learn and it is why our program is designed with lots of movement in mind. In babies classes where most of the children are not yet crawling or walking, the movement is done with the carers in lap plays and dances. The 1-2 year old class is far more active to match where the children are developmentally. In that age group the children have more opportunities to move, dance and explore the space. They also are able to play instruments more independently. It sounds like your child, at 13 months and already walking, would have been better suited to a 1-2 year old class rather than the babies class that you tried. Thanks again for attending a class, and we are sorry your expectations were not met on this occasion. 🎶🐝💕Mini Maestros

My 2 year old son absolutely loves…

My 2 year old son absolutely loves going to Mini Marstros. Every morning he wakes up he’s ready with his music bag to go to the “music class”!
He remembers words, songs and actions from the class and repeats them through the week. It has helped improve his vocabulary significantly! He is exposed to a range of new instruments, he’s been learning about tempo, pitches, and so much more.. we’re really glad to have found these classes and couldn’t recommend more highly!
