Being lactose intolerant used to mean giving up milk, dairy foods and the important nutrients, minerals and vitamins they provide. The Milkaid range of products contain lactase enzyme, a safe natural enzyme that is usually found in the digestive system. It works by breaking down the complex milk sugar lactose, into two more easily digestible sugars – glucose and galactose. Lactase enzyme improves lactose digestion in individuals who have difficulty digesting lactose. You can now enjoy milk and dairy foods again, without upset.

I usually buy these for my daughter but…
I usually buy these for my daughter but the availability has just evaporated and the price shot up drastically. No explanation that I can find anywhere. It's getting to a point that it's crazy expensive and based on recent trends I won't be able to afford the drops very soon.
I have been sent some free products and asked to change my review, this would be unfair as I review honestly but I can say I am very grateful for the samples that will help tide me over. I will add a couple of stars for excellent customer service but won't be changing my review outside of adding this information.
I got a response but am unsure how to contact through this site. I will try emailing the company on their site with a screenshot for reference.

Great service from Milkaid
I have purchased Milkaid before on Amazon and know it's a good product. On this occasion, I ordered directly from Milkaid because they offered the best price. The Royal Mail delivery was delayed however, which meant it would take place while I was away. I was concerned it wouldn't go through the letterbox. I emailed Milkaid who were very responsive and helpful. They offered to track the delivery and send a replacement foc if it went missing. This wasn't necessary in the end but I was very impressed by the service. I shall always order directly from Milkaid in future.

i got in contact with milkaid website…
i got in contact with milkaid website for assistance on getting my daughter something to help when she has dairy. as requierd by the gp to try a lactose free diet but kids are kids and like everything but the stuff they are not allowed ,
so i came upon hearing about these tablets and had a free sample which was amazing as we were going on holiday and she could enjoy pizza ! without the hassle of getting tummy aches and running to the loo after!

Amazing product
This product is really effective against lactose intolerance when taken correctly. I give it to my 5yo just before he eats a meal with dairy and he loves that he isn't restricted from having a dairy treat anymore. I totally recommend it and would love if it was available at local pharmacies.

Milkaid is an absolute Con
Milkaid is an absolute con. They sell containers claiming to be 600ug of lactase. But on the back it states for that amount you need to use two tablets, meanwhile they also sell the 300ug tablets for less money. That's con number one. I've reported them to trading standards for that. Next is they don't seem to do anything for me compared to other brands, so I've sent some off to Food Standards to have them checked to see the correct amount of lactase is in each tablet. The whole company is an Amazon con company I think.

The enzyme activity of 6000 ALU has always been clearly stated in the nutritional information as the amount delivered per 2 tablets, which is the standard dosage. This information is clearly visible on the side of the label and all sides of the label are displayed on our Amazon product listings so that customers can make informed choices prior to purchase.
While our label has always met regulatory requirements, we do listen carefully to all customer feedback. In response to comments like yours, we’ve updated the front panel of the label to also include the number of servings, for greater clarity and ease of comparison. We hope this will help customers better understand the product at a glance.
We understand that experiences with lactase supplements can vary between individuals depending on the level of lactose intolerance and other personal factors. Received some free samples from this company as I have just recently been diagnosed with lactose intolerance. Wouldn't wish it on anyone. The company were very kind & fast delivery. Can I just say these Chewable Tablets strawberry flavour have been great at alleviating my symptoms very quickly. I would recommend these to anyone who has been diagnosed with lactose intolerance.
