Ordered from Manchester I thought extra dress added to order by them same size same dress contacted them immediately they said I must have clicked on the offer I DID NOT. Don’t worry if not suitable they replied I can return them . The tracking no didn’t work but I then realised the order was coming from China When the dresses eventually arrived they were shocking nothing like the picture not fit for the dog basket absolute crap . So when I contacted them to return and ask for Manchester address was told to send back to China for £25.00 item couldn’t be tracked and refund only made when China had received the parcel ! On complaining I was offered 10 % refund then20 % then 30 %. And could keep the goods ! I informed them I would report them to Facebook and claim a section 75 consumers money back from my bank. About 5 days later I received a full refund from Milford. Surprised but happy with this outcome. This was three months ago. Yesterday I received a threatening email from Milford demanding I repay the money £54.00 or I would have bailiffs turning up at my door, reducing my credit rating and accusing ME of fraud I have told them where to go ! Watch this space. Disgusting scammers why Facebook allows companies like this to trade on their site I don’t know !

The company are miss representing their company and their goods. If you order anything from them the goods come from China they are extremely poor quality and it will cost you £25 to return the gopods to China

Another terrible company based in China with no actual understanding of customer service or the difference between what's right and wrong. I ordered a dress which was to small for me. I even read the returns page first before ordering which made it sound simple. About 10 emails later they finally accepted I wanted to return. Everything was posted back as per there instruction and proof of postage sent for confirmation. Surprise surprise, 3 months later and I still haven't heard a thing. This is not a business but a scam. Avoid .

Was an advert on FB and checked out the website Ordered a dress and blouse and knew I should of left this company alone when the delivery showed items were being shipped from China. 2weeks later goods turned up Blouse was far too big and dress was poorly finished off After contacting customer service via email numerous times being offered percentage refunds and being told I could keep the items I elected to send items back to China £23.50 later goods arrived in China in days to get stuck in customs After numerous e-mails and 8 weeks later I was told I had paid £11.70 customs which they took from my refund Finally last week in Sept I received a refund To say ordering from this company cost me Not the family run business I thought I was ordering from Will read trusting from now on

I wish this had a negative star option. Was offered a 10% refund rising to 30% after extremely difficult and annoying negotiation, was told to keep the item. Accepted this. They then did not refund the 30% so I did a chargeback claim which was accepted by my bank and now they're threatening legal action over £38. Which is obviously total nonsense. Sending me pay links demanding payment. Repeated emails. Won't accept that their site is misleading, location 'Manchester' small print..... china. Tell you to return to a Chinese address at your own cost. They're an absolute nightmare. Avoid at all costs.

I ordered from what was pretending to be a Manchester company, the items came and were poor quality, I asked to return and was told I had to return to China at my own expense, I did so and the parcel is now in customs in China and they will not collect it - total scam !!!!!

I was very disappointed with my experience. Thought a dress looked nice (FB advert)so ordered then was distressed because somehow I had pressed a button to order two exactly the same. Tried immediately to change order but despite reply saying it would be possible that never happened and when 2 identical dresses appeared MADE IN CHINA and of very poor quality I contacted customer services on several occasions to no avail. I feel that I have been scammed (£55) I would never touch this company again

A minus star would be more appropriate, dont buy from this company, based in China but assume to be local.
Quality of clothing is poor, customer service is worse and I returned my items 8 weeks ago and still havent had a refund, there is no response to my emails or online enquiry.
I should have trusted my instincts and not bothered with them.

Citizens Advice Consumer Helpline were very helpful after I received threats of legal action despite having received my money back from Milford Manchester 3 months ago. Effectively I have exercised my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 by keeping the rejected goods in return for a price reduction of the full amount.

Avoid at all costs…this company have now resorted to scare tactics 4 months on from my original issue.
Back in June I ordered what looked like a lovely item…. What I received was quite something else….a tatty piece of clothing that looked like a 5 year old had made it…. Nothing like the pics I saw upon placing the order🤦🏻‍♀️😡 I was then made to jump through hoops to get my money back and wouldn’t accept I simply wanted to return it for a refund…they offered me 10% refund to keep, then increased to 20% to keep and final offer of 30% to keep, all of which I refused on principle. Eventually (circa 8 weeks down the line) they refunded (only did they do so after I put the payment into dispute with my bank), I therefore did the right thing and told my bank they had finally refunded and got the dispute reversed…. Alot of hassle and aggro for a garment which was £41.95 but it’s the principle and at least I thought the matter was now closed.
How wrong was I? 😡
This evening I have received a debtors invoice for £41.95 with a separate email which is extremely threatening stating that bailiffs/court proceedings will commence if I don’t pay it.
They are now saying I told the bank that I never received the goods and have committed fraud…. This company are absolutely appalling and need shutting down….. huge scam to be avoided like the plague 🤯 This type of aggravation is enough to give some people a heart attack/blood pressure…I’m positively outraged 😡

I’ve order a dress probably 2-3 months ago.
I’ve ordered it but it never arrive, I’ve waited 3weeks then I started to worry so I reported this company to my bank account for fraud, so I’m able to claim my money, thankfully I got my money back. After a month or so it arrived I get my money back but unhappy with the material. I wanted to return it but no instructions how to return the item. I just came back from my holiday and now (September 30th) I received a letter to pay which fair enough but I wasn’t happy with the item and it cost £39.95 cheap looking dress nothing a like what it look like on advertisement (selling picture’s)

Milford Manchester…NOT based in Manchester, but in China.ordered some dresses in June, arrived 2 weeks later. Not good quality. I returned them. The return postage was £30. The overseas customs refused then, saying incomplete paperwork. Just got them returned to me this week. They are a scam. Misleading company and awful to deal with. Do not use.

I ordered two pairs of Carole dungarees from an advert on Facebook from Milfords of Manchester thinking it was a UK based and at the end of the purchase was asked did I still want one of the pairs so I added them and ended up with three pairs. I emailed customer service within 2 minutes and they replied the order was ready for dispatch but could return the unwanted pair. Good service I thought. A week later nothing arrived so emailed saying you’re only in Manchester where are they. I then found out they were being sent from china. Alarm bells. Look on line and see the negative reviews. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
When they arrived the quality was appalling and nothing like the photo I ordered from. Cheap fabric and poorly made. I emailed to return and was told to send them back at my own cost. No doubt be out of pocket for that as well as they’ll say nothing received by them.
I contacted my credit card company and explained the problem and they were going to do a chargeback. They refunded money and so did Milford the day before them. Credit card company informed me that the merchant had refunded me so they would adjust their credit. The purchase was at the beginning of July and Milford credited me at the beginning of August. I emailed them to say the goods were here for them to collect. Yesterday I received an email from them with a debt invoice for me to pay within 7 days along with a threatening email saying they would be sending the bailiffs , county court and I had fraudulent received a refund and still had the goods as they said I told my credit card I hadn’t received the goods. I emailed them that the goods were here for collection. Are they mad as I’ve got all my emails and credit card company have a case number with details. I have contacted Citizens advice but they’re unsure about a uk address so I have also contacted UK ICC who deal with overseas disputes. What would anyone recommend I do next. Bow to intimidation and pay or stick to my guns. Next stop I think will be contacting a solicitor for free advice. Why should these people get away with this.

Disgraceful company that promote themselves on Facebook. I would urge no one to purchase anything from them as it is a scam company based in China who all sorts of bullying tactics to frighten you in spending money returning items that they will never receive due to Chinese customs.
Please do not purchase from them.

Apart from the fact that this company professes to trade from a shop in Manchester, England… they are in fact in China. I placed an order (before reading the reviews unfortunately) which took a week to arrive, the blouse certainly was not as described, the nylon material was awful.
I contact them via email on 11th August to cancel my order but it was too late apparently! So on receipt of the blouse I contact them again and they offered to discount the item 10, 20, 30% and 9 emails later they finally agreed to refund me… under certain conditions… I had to post the item back to China,
I chose Royal Mail Tracked and Signed costing over £15. provide them with photographic proof of posting which I carried out to the letter!
It’s now 24th September, the parcel has been showing that it’s still at Chinese customs awaiting clearance since 26th August. I contact Milford Manchester on email which returned to my inbox as non existent!!! So I’ve contact Milford on another email given on their website to which I’ve received no reply… and tbh I didn’t expect to!

If I could give it no stars I would .Do NOT BUY from this company its a fake website it looks good with a great shopfront in a posh area .The clothes are made in China you can get it better from Primark. when it comes to refunds it’s a nightmare you have to pay £26 to send it back and then wait months for a refund I’m still waiting and I’m not giving in disgusting customer service

Ordered 2 pairs of shoes in size 39. 'Sofia Orthopaedic sandals with foot support' quite simply not those in the photograph but cheap unsupportive plastic tat with the flimsiest sole imaginable. Macy Orthopaedic slip on was much smaller than my current size 39 Sketchers AND it costs £24 to return them before they consider a refund, despite their claim of "Happiness guaranteed. Full refund, no questions asked". They are a fraud using false photos and making totally untrue claims. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS, or you will regret it! I realise now there are many others like them, selling absolute rubbish via cleverly constructed but totally dishonest web sites. See how many you can spot. Beware.

I ordered 3 items from this company because the misleading website led me to believe it was a UK business. When they arrived they were nothing like the images on the site and extremely cheap fabric. Having spent £79.96 on the order, it then cost me £26 to return it. Two month later, no refund has been issued, leaving me £105.96 out of pocket. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Ordered what was advertised to be a beautiful flowing summer dress which, according to the advert, was from a shop in Manchester run by two lovely people. It arrived from China!! The dress was way too small and of a cheap material and although advertised as a long dress came above my knees! I requested a refund and what I needed to do to return the item. Although quick to respond via e-mail they kept offering me 10% off then 20% and then 30%, gift it to a friend or choose another item rather than a refund/return. Eventually they advised what I needed to do to return and I took it to the Post Office only to be told it would cost £26 for tracked (which they had advised) postage. I have not returned it and begrudgingly accepted a 30% refund. In fact I had zero confidence in the parcel ever reaching its destination in China or of receiving a refund. I am now left with a £35 dress which is in the bottom of the bloody drawer!!! Pity the day I ever saw their advert!! Terrible way to do business and I am surprised they are still trading judging by all the reviews.

The company does not deserve any star at all.
I ordered 2 pairs of unsatisfactory sandals back in June.
Following a protracted and painful process, I returned the sandals on 25 July 2025 back to China at an absurd cost of 26.55. They have arrived.
But
Following their promess of the full refund, £93.42, I am still waiting for the money back.
This firm is dishonest and the quality not as advertised.
