Expensive high end dishwasher rusted…
Expensive high end dishwasher rusted out significantly on the baskets that hold the dishes. Rust is a known problem with this companies dishwashers and yet they continue to use metal that rusts and leaves rust stains on plastic cups and plates such as Tupperware..
The company cares little when you complain offering a 10% discount on replacing the 2 racks which cost $500 to replace I will no longer buy Miele products as the company does not stand behind them..Bosch here I come

I wish there was a -5* to rate Miele Canada. I just found out about Miele poor rate everywhere, so at least it wasn't only me. The wait time has been awful. I have been waiting weeks and weeks for a replacement part that has to be shipped from Germany. What makes it worse is that the expected arrival date keeps changing, with no clear explanation or accountability.
Customer service has been extremely frustrating. Communication is poor, updates are vague, and there is little sense of urgency or care. For a brand that charges high‑end prices, I expected high‑end service—not this level of stress and uncertainty.
Miele markets itself as a premium brand, but my experience felt like very low‑end service. At this price point, customers deserve better support, better communication, and realistic timelines.
I would seriously think twice before purchasing again.

Miele is the most incompetent company I've ever dealt with. I was moving out of a condo and I sent them a picture of the part as well as a part number and eight weeks later they sent me the wrong piece, not once, but twice which affected my move out from my condo. They did nothing to make things right and I've never dealt with such incompetent imbeciles in 47 years. Avoid at all costs, terrible company and horrendous customer service.

If I could leave zero stars I would. This product and service is nothing short of absolutely terrible. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY A SUBZERO OR FOR HEAVENS SAKE EVEN A GE. This has been a very expensive disaster.

Inside, I was offered what might be the best coffee I’ve ever had in a showroom—rich, smooth, and a perfect introduction to the Miele coffee machines I came to explore. I was visiting with a very special purpose: to surprise my son on his birthday, February 14. He’s a student at American University and a true coffee lover, so I wanted to find the perfect Miele countertop machine for him. He deserves it, and I knew Miele would deliver something exceptional.
Eddie, who assisted us, made the entire experience unforgettable. His knowledge, kindness, and genuine enthusiasm turned what could have been a simple shopping trip into a meaningful moment for both me and my son. He took the time to walk us through the machines, answer every question, and make sure we felt completely taken care of.
This visit wasn’t just about buying a coffee machine—it became a wonderful memory. Thanks to Eddie and the entire team, we left feeling appreciated, excited, and confident in our choice. I couldn’t have asked for a better
I’m scheduled for a technician to come…
I’m scheduled for a technician to come look at my dishwasher. I did not pick the time, they assigned me a time yesterday, between 10:45 AM and 12:45 PM. It is now 1:10 PM, the technician is still not here and I just got off the phone with Miele. They still cannot tell me what time the technician will be here. They said he’s on his way, but they cannot give me a specific time. This is a terrible way to operate.

I bought the Triflex HX2 Pro vacuum…
I bought the Triflex HX2 Pro vacuum from mieleUSA.com. Insteading of getting a product suitable for the US market, I received a product that’s for the EU.
I contacted their US customer service and was told that the product was supposed to be like that. How ridiculous!
So I asked them to take the product back. Guess what? They said it’s non-returnable.

First my appointment for a refrigerator repair was scheduled to be completed in the UK, rescheduled in the US .
Was to receive a confirming email as to technicians arrival 24 hrs in advance. Email was never sent , called service and was told that my visit was rescheduled to another day without my knowledge. Seems that Miele operates without the slightest concern for customer satisfaction.
Worst dishwasher ever....
"WORST DISHWASHER EVER"...I owned a previous Miele that got fried via electrical surge, waited 5 years to get another only to be the WORST decision ever. First week owned it did a good job, second week through over two months, to this day, it doesn't wash dishes clean. You should NOT have to clean the inside of your dishwasher because it is dirty and should NOT have to rewash dishes after it runs....I've had to do both... and now I have a dishwasher that sits and not usable.... Who wants to rewash dishes and clean the inside out after every use.
Miele service is worthless, they don't even try or want to help, just keep giving excuses and putting me off. This dishwasher ruined my brand new Hestan Titanium Pots and Pans, I waited until I got my new dishwasher to use them, only for it to ruin them. DO NOT BUY MIELE, you can get better quality and better service with another brand and not pay out the yingyang for a worthless piece of crap.
Miele finally replied to an email when I asked where I could do a review. They thought it was going to be a good one.......hahahaha.....NOT... Still getting the run around and Ferguson Home is just as worthless, this is who I bought it from and will NOT buy anything from them again.
Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful, unconscionable customer "service". We purchased a T1 Excellence eco ventless dryer. It never worked from Day 1 of installation - a plinth filter error would not allow us to run the dryer. We called Miele and scheduled warranty service. After the service company replaced the filter, which fixed the persistent errors, we received a bill. Miele told us that the filter is not covered under warranty even though it was defective from the beginning. All correspondence with the company was characterized with responses along the lines of "we are very sorry for your experience but go pound sand." They do not stand behind their products and I will never purchase another Miele appliance. Just read the litany of reviews on this site.
Miele does not stand by their…
Miele does not stand by their guarantees. They falsely state "spare parts remain available for at least 15 years." My fridge ($10k+) is 9 years old and they have discontinued a part (heater bank, which costs $100 to replace). My fridge no longer works without that part. They told me there is no suitable alternative and I should buy a new fridge.

Before you drop real money on a fancy appliance, due diligence requires an inquiry about who does their repairs and then call them to find out the most frequent warranty work needed AND their location relative to your location.

Terrible customer support for appliance repair. Only one company in Cincinnati/dayton Ohio area that can service a broken appliance and they only come to Cincinnati one day a week for refrigerator repair. Was scheduled and was told service technician was going to be sick on my repair date so had to be rescheduled two weeks out. So now this problem is approaching two months to be solved. Wouldn’t buy or recommend Miele again because of this

Unhappy with product and services
We purchased the cx1 vacuum for our house, and have had nothing but problems with it. We have some carpet area, so we purchased the turbo head to help clean more effectively, but the brush only spins with the vacuum suction. I have to clean it extensively after every 15 minutes of vaccuuming, or it gets clogged and refuses to work.
After being bounced around their customer service with emails for weeks, the service technician helped us troubleshoot, and ultimately offered us a new vacuum at a discount for the same price that we paid for this cx1. As I am not looking to spend another $700, im now stuck with a vacuum that is useless to me.
Customer service could improve. Do not buy products from this company if you live in a rural area.

Miele products are great until they need repaired. When that happens you are better off scrapping the product and buying a different brand. Customer support is terrible and certified technicians seem to be non-existent.
BADDDD experience
BADDDD experience, my battery never worked well on the vacuum and after 2 months I finally called to get a replacement and they want me to find a vacuum serive person in my area (WHO HAS TIME FOR THAT) - go get it diagnosed, call back, wait on hold forever and THEN send me a battery and charger??? What kind of service is that, I would NEVER buy from this company again - do not recommend at all.
They tried to get me to buy the parts again which is over half the price of the vacuum that I just bought two months ago.
I have two Miele appliances oven and dishwasher - both are problematic
I have two Miele appliance: oven and dishwasher. Both had and continue to have problems. The oven first had a broken door spring that they claim on youtube is tested for 30,000 openings. Mine broke after less than 1000. That got fixed but the oven bakes unevenly and there seems to be no way to fix it. The dishwasher had problems with paint peeling off the racks. Not the usual wear where the dishes touch the paint (after a long use), but at the bottom of the racks where nothing was touching the paint. The company is a real pain to deal with. Uniformly obnoxious reps and supervisors. They also refuse to provide service manuals to consumers which is a violation of the law. Stay away.
Horrible Customer Service
I purchased a Miele washer and dryer a year ago, and it needed to be serviced and fell under warranty so I had a technician come by to fix it. While my washer and dryer have been great, the technician lied about what was wrong, so his visit wouldn’t fall under warranty. I have had to call support 8 times, all saying they are going to escalate my issue, all keeping me on hold for long periods of time, and the promise of calling me back after each call, which they never did. The customer support team didn’t even have copies of the service technicians reports, and asked me to send them which is crazy to me. I have spent hours dealing with this, with every support person telling me something different. My issue is still not resolved.
