Do not buy from Michael Lo Sordo. This company is a scam.

If you purchase something and then want to return it, they will ghost you. I bought two items for around €800. When they arrived, I was shocked by the quality. The items were very poor quality, and the lace looked like cheap fabric from China.

I contacted customer service the same day, but received no reply. I sent the same email every day for five days. I also tried calling, but every time it went straight to voicemail. I messaged them on Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook as well, and never received a response anywhere. I was extremely upset.

Fortunately, I had paid via PayPal, which offers buyer protection. I opened a dispute and provided all the evidence: photos showing the poor quality of the items, screenshots of my attempts to contact the company (emails, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook messages), and screenshots from Trustpilot and other platforms where I found many similar negative experiences from other customers.

PayPal took time to review everything and contacted the seller for a response. Michael Lo Sordo did not respond to PayPal either. As a result, PayPal refunded me the full amount.

I strongly recommend that anyone in a similar situation opens a PayPal dispute. Disputes can be opened within six months of purchase.

I never received my dress

I placed an order for a dress on the 17th September 2025 via the online website for $500. It been nearly 3 months and I still haven't received my dress.

I have contacted the customer service Via email, whats app and even tried to call however no one has bothered to respond back to me or even update me.

I have paid $500 and not received a product.
This is extremely disappointing and I will never be ordering from Michael Lo Sordo ever again.

Totally awful

Totally awful, do not buy from this brand.
I initially fell in love with these dresses after seeing Ana de Armas wear this in the bond movie and ordered this back in Dec 2024. The dress arrived perhaps 2 weeks after I ordered it, which was fine, after trying it on immediately I knew I needed a smaller size. I packaged back up again and emailed customer services to process an exchange for a smaller size which they responded to with a shipping label and confirmation. Before I had even posted the package, I changed my mind and asked for a refund instead of an exchange. I didn't hear from customer services (CS) for a few days and in the meantime, I posted the DHL package back to them. I then had another email from CS saying that they wouldn't be able to provide me with a refund due to an exchange already being selected within their system... I went back to CS to say this wasn't specified beforehand in any of their T&Cs that this would be an issue, so I asked if they can please just amend this and confirmed I had sent the return package. I didn't hear anything then from CS for a week or so, leading up to Christmas I assumed it was busy. Then on the 17th Dec I emailed again to check if they had received my return package and had no response. In early Jan, I started to panic as I still hadn't had any update from CS or knew if my package had been delivered to them. I then called, emailed, whatsapped, messaged on social media platforms, I contact Michael lo Sordo's Sales team for christ sake! I just wanted to get hold of anyone who might be able to tell me what the hell is going on. I couldn't get through to anyone and was then advised to report this as a fraud. Then, out of the blue, months later in April 2025, I received an email from CS in response to mine stating the return parcel has only just arrived to them and that there was an issue in transit, emphasising it wasn't their fault and what set my blood boiling is they proceeded to say that "the parcel needs to be inspected before a refund can be processed". I have been following up and chasing this since... it's almost the end of October. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BRAND! I'm still trying to get my refund almost 10 months since I first ordered and CS seem to think this is acceptable. Utterly disgraceful and so disappointing for such beautiful dresses.. but ladies it isn't worth the hassle. I wish I had kept the dress now since then atleast I would have had something for my money... Oh and side note - during the months where I was having no response from CS and reaching them out to them on social media, I commented on their social posts to get their attention and in response they blocked me! F****** outrageous.

Michael Lo Sordo will ghost you if you request a return. Quick to send marketing, calls go straight to voicemail.

There is something very concerning with this online merchant. I purchased a pair of full-price pants, they were not what I expected from the photo (I wouldn't have bought them if I knew the fabric is what it is), and are too big. I followed the online return request instructions the day I received the parcel and, now two weeks later, multiple attempts to contact them via the contacts they list on their website, I am yet to receive a response. I don't know where to return the purchase (it meets their returns policy, but you're supposed to received a return label. I don't even know where it's meant to go and don't trust I will ever see my money back). It's highly unusual for a business' customer care phone number to be a mobile, go straight to voicemail (every. single. time, during the business hours they say they're available. Once or twice, someone could be on a break, but I've tried to call four times across the two weeks). They also list contacting by WhatsApp - they don't respond here, and nothing to my formal return request emails to the address provided in the return instructions.

Two weeks, no response and then I read their tawdry history of unpaid wages and being in debt to creditors in news articles online. I don't have a lot of money, times are hard, and this is so unfair. I'm at a point where I want to cry. I don't have money to just keep something I will never wear because they choose to just completely ghost their customers.

Don't shop here, unless you've purchased before and have a sense of sizes or have seen products in boutiques (if you're lucky!), so you know what you're getting. If, like me, it's your first experience with the brand (I've never purchased or worn or have access to it in a boutique near me or that I'm aware of), don't. Considering they show in major fashion week runways, I can't believe this was not safe to buy from and that I've been completely ignored (great tactic - frustrate the customer, so they give up and just keep the product they will never wear and then you don't have to return the money). Seriously, how can I ever get my refund if I follow their process and receive no response? If this was not much money it would be ok, but this actually makes me cry.

Of course, the money was taken quickly and the order fulfilled immediately, and I'm still receiving and seeing their marketing emails- someone is in the office to set up the automation on these and put together the content, so not sure why someone was not able to respond to customers.

Please don't shop here.

I don't give it zero stars, because it doesn't allow me to. DO NOT buy from this store ever! I've been trying for a month to get my money back! They are not transparent about the products they offer, the descriptions of the materials are not real and they send you products made of different materials, which makes it not worth it for the price. They offer 0 tax charges outside of Australia, which they then don't fulfill, but worst of all, customer service is absolutely disinterested in resolving any issue. They ignore you at all. Even though they indicate that if the product you buy is not as you expected, there is a refund, but when you request it and make the claim, they don't answer you, they ignore you and give you excuses without real arguments with deceptions. Then if you buy on sale, with products that say they will be back in stock, then in order not to give you your money back, they tell you that it is final sale, when it is not true, because it is not what is indicated at the time of purchase. They will do everything to not comply with their own return and refund policies, even those established by the Australian consumer law! Therefore, you should file a complaint through consumer services. Because for them, they already have your money and if you don't like what they sold you, you just have to put up with it! SCAMMERS

No le pongo cero estrellas, porque no me lo permite. NO Compren en esta tienda nunca! Llevo un mes intentado me devuelvan mi dinero! No son transparentes en los productos que ofrecen, las descripciones de los materiales no son reales y te envían productos de materiales distintos, con lo cual no merece la pena por el precio. Ofrecen 0 cargos de impuestos fuera de Australia, que luego no cumplen, pero lo peor de todo el servicio al cliente es absolutamente desinteresado en resolver ninguna cuestión. Te ignoran en lo absoluto. Apesar de que indican que si el producto que compras no es como lo esperas, existe el rembolso, pero cuando lo solicitas y haces el reclamo, no te contestan, te ignoran i te dan escudas sin argumentos reales con engaños. Luego si compras en sale, con productos que dice que estarán de nuevo en stock, luego para no devolverte el dinero, te dicen que es final sale, cuando no es verdad, porque no es lo qué indica al momento de comprar. Harán de todo para no cumplir sus propias políticas de devolución y reembolso, aún ni las que establece la propia ley del consumidor de Australia! Con lo cual hay que ponerles una denuncia a través del servicio al consumidor. Porque por ellos, ya tienen tu dinero y si no te gusta lo que te vendieron, te aguantas! ESTAFADORES
