Avoid if you have a choice !
M&H Carriers Inverness is, without question, the most frustrating delivery company I have ever had to deal with.
I live just outside Inverness, on the Black Isle, and yet almost every parcel handled by M&H seems to be delayed. It doesn't matter whether the sender is UPS or another courier – as soon as I see M&H involved, I know there is a good chance the delivery date means very little.
The excuses are always the same, while customers are left waiting days or even weeks beyond the promised delivery date. Tracking updates are often vague, unreliable, or simply stop moving altogether. On more than one occasion I have had parcels delayed for no valid reason, and communication from the company has been poor.
What makes it even more frustrating is that many people in the Highlands have little choice. Large couriers pass parcels to M&H, so customers are stuck with a service they never chose in the first place. We pay the same delivery charges as everyone else and deserve the same level of service.
The Highlands are not a wilderness, and areas around Inverness should not be treated as if they are inaccessible. Other delivery companies manage perfectly well, so constant delays cannot always be blamed on location.
After years of dealing with late deliveries, poor communication, and endless frustration, my confidence in M&H Carriers is non-existent. If I had the option to choose another carrier every single time, I would. Sadly, many Highland customers are not given that choice.
M&H Carriers has become the one company I dread seeing on a tracking update because experience has taught me that delays and disappointment are likely to follow.

An asset to M & H Carriers
After having a couple of late deliveries and some other issues, I was lucky to make contact with Peter who was managing my area for M & H
By chance I went into the depot when it was closed on a Saturday at newyear and he was outside peeling decals off a truck while everyone else was at home.
My tyres were inaccessible that day but he managed to get them available early on the Sunday.
Now I can contact him when I have a delivery due and it is delivered way quicker than previously.
M & H have a great asset in Peter, his input has made my job easier and compliments my relationship with the supplier.

Hopeless joke of a company
Hopeless joke of a company. Delivery window given was 29th May to 5th June...got 1st phone call 8th June, " we'll phone you an hour before our driver delivers". No phone call just a ticket in letterbox with ref details. Phoned them to check, "oh our driver's phone is broken, or its switched aff". Pathetic for a delivery company. Rearranged for 12th, but got the inevitable call, " oh our drivers aff sick the day..." what a joke of a company...in the end cancelled the order. .don't use these idiots.

M & H Carriers Customer Servise
We were assigned H&E carriers to pick up our order. The customer service was excellent. The people were very kind and supportive. They called us and advised us of the delivery date. As we needed to get our goods ASAP, we asked about the option to pick them up from their warehouse. Zanda Steine, the operator who spoke with us, was very kind and helpful. On our arrival, Zanda came over and checked if everything was okay. She mentioned that on one box were two labels, and she was right. The company we bought goods from did not send one of the boxes; therefore, we must contact the company and sort things out. Thanks, M & H Carriers Aberdeen. We highly recommend M & H,

Awaiting for parcel almost 2 weeks
Awaiting for parcel almost 2 weeks, promised delivery 01.06, today 11.06, no update, no delivery. I have visited their office twice in the meantime, even arranging a small van to collect personally and speed up the process as stated 2 man delivery box when tracking details and problem with properly allocating my assignment in site . Offer me a call back, no phone. no contact, frustrating and disappointing service.Additionally today , more delays coming as I have received an email that the parcel has been damaged so more time waiting for new delivery

Emailed twice with no response regarding a delivery that has not arrived after been received at their depot last Monday in Inverness.
Phoned twice last week to be told that they would phone me back, received no response.
Phoned today to speak to a customer agent who hung up on me!
I called back and they never picked up.

Held items for 10 days without forwarding. Communication was shocking, kept getting told "my colleague is dealing with it". Items finally arrive 10 days late - damaged. With no apology or explanation.

I recently got a delivery via the Aberdeen depot the driver used my drive to deliver parcel then knocked down my pillar on way out after several phone calls and messages with depot and driver we have not been contacted back or replied to get money back to cover costs very disappointing service we have had to pay for this to be sorted by ourselves
M and H carriers have now ben in touch to arrange payment of the cost to repair and gave us an apology for thisntaking do long they had past everything onto the sub contractor/driver but did not know that they hadnt been in contact with us to sort out this matter for us

They delivered a large heavy bed settee to my third floor flat up narrow winding stairs and through three narrow doorways. It looked an impossible task but they persevered and did an excellent job, and no damage to walls or woodwork. They are a credit to M+H Carriers.

Had email and text telling me delivery coming tomorrow.
Tracking unavailable.
Delivery didn't come. Took the day off work without pay to be available.
They scanned the item into the local depot at inverness the day before. I live 20 minutes away.
Waste of time and money.
Contacted customer services by email, including the one theybuse on here for the complains, no response. Phoned them, told someone would ring me back. They didn't. No reply, no excuse, no point. Every time something gets sent with these , it's the same. Pathetic.

We also recognise how frustrating it feels when tracking information is unavailable, and follow-up contact does not happen as promised. That is not the level of service M&H Carriers aims to provide.

Nicolas and Brogan in Aberdeen branch should get medals for the level of personalised customer service they gave. They worked so had to rectify the issue caused by the courier doing g the opposite as M&H were the 3rd party courier.
Nicolas and Brogan kept in touch, communicated well and fulfilled every promise they made. Which is more than can be said for Furdeco who failed dismally.
