Changing email-address isn't really working and support isn't helping at all, not even answering after over 10 days and a reminding question about the problem.
This now is just my personal thing, but this annoying background, this moving raster background and no possibility to change it to a simple background.

Freedom of speech is one thing, allowing adult stuff a complete other story.

MeWe is een zeer teleurstellend social media bedrijf.
Allereerst kan je sinds maart niet meer vrij de videoos zien die geupload zijn. Als je een half uur gekeken hebt dan zie je niks meer.
Vandaag probeerde ik een premiumabonnement te nemen om dit te ontlopen maar ik kan nog steeds geen videoos zien en krijg de melding: thats all for today. Als je gaat navragen dan krijg je een lijstje met adviezen waar je totaal niets aan hebt. Het is heel jammer. Mewe was eerst wel leuk maar het stelt nu alleen maar teleur.

I opened a MeWe account in 2021 after getting tired of Facebook's tracking and restrictive policies. Five years later, MeWe has become my go-to social media platform. FB? Spend 5 minutes there once a week to check notifications before deactivating my account for another week and that's it.

Not to say that MeWe is perfect. They constantly tinker with their site, which can be glitchy, and are just as unlikely to reply to correspondences as FB is so it CAN be frustrating.

Still, for all the railing against MeWe by its detractors, I have yet to see any outrageous images and have found that the best "filter" from nutjobs is to find groups that focus on my own personal interests (mostly sports and music) and are good at self-policing conduct by their members. The result is that I've had a chance to interact with some genuinely good people, many of whom I now consider as friends.

No social media platform is going to push ALL the right buttons, including MeWe, but I've been very happy with them. I generally ignore Facebook now and only use their Messenger subsidiary to stay in touch with FB friends. To each their own but I'm sticking with MeWe.

Made my account and was banned within and hour. Didn't even post anything.. Was able to get back onto it ONLY to be banned again without posting anything..

I decided to make a MeWe account to check it out since I no longer have FB. Never had a chance to explore because a few hours after malking an account I received an email my account was banned due to violating Terms of Service? No explanation was given, only that I violated something. My ban, as they stated was perminent.. Really odd and strange.

I used to love this website and app, for chatting on groups I'm a member of, but since the latest version was released (I won't call it upgrade, because it's awful), I now hate it.
Whoever designed, and approved, this piece of garbage should be fired.

Mewe was great but this week they did an update and it's blocked everyone and everything. You can't join groups even if you are invited. Time to find another site where you can get help if you need it.

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! They don't even deserve ONE star!!! I've been "submitting a dispute" for the $4.99 charge on my credit card EVERY MONTH for 3+ years, then finally got fed up and cancelled them via my credit card company, got a new card, and they JUST CHARGED ME AGAIN!!! They're impossible to get ahold of. I can't get a password reset... NOTHING! My credit card company told me that I have to delete them from my "digital wallet," whatever the F!@# that means! AND they said I have to get ANOTHER new credit card number!!!

The site was fine the way it was, but they changed it this week and now it's absolutely HORRIBLE! I can't find my groups, and any help is completely nonexistent. I wish someone would come up with an alternative to Facebook.

I was trying to create profile for along period, but it was not possible.
After a year, I tried again, and somehow I succeed to create a profile.
Unfortunately, the next day I am no more able to log-in, and it looks like my profile has been banned. I did only 2-3 re-share of other user's content, and 2-3 following requests. Strange!

Plus possible d se connecter à l'application. On dirait que mon compte a été supprimé mais lorsque je tente de me connecter on m'indique que l'adresse email est déjà utilisée.
Du coup, je n'ai plus accès aux images qui m'appartiennent.
Plusieurs messages laissés au support depuis plusieurs semaines mais aucune réponse de leur part.
Pour un site qui se veut hors norme, c'est réussi! 😁

So only after one day my account was banned and only a simple intro post was done.

You have to sign in through another link called Frequency that then sends you an access code to your registered email.. and that's every time you log in.

And today, after going through the same process i found that my account was BANNED....

So although you might have problems with FB, there really is not an alternative, well this is not the one.
Strange that they cant be bothered to reply to any reviews!!!!

So after doing as they asked, get in touch if you think they have made a mistake I receive this email from them.. what winkers.. typo.

It's an impressive little app, which provides access to the experiences on the main MeWe website that make MeWe a rising star on the internet.
The Android app I have installed now allows me to enjoy the full MeWe experience while I'm away from home, and keeps me in touch with my fellow MeWe Ambassadors.

Niente di emozionante, usato da persone per fare gruppi, generalmente chiusi, poca interazione con i nuovi arrivati, una sorta di social casalingo con privacy. Credo usato in modo improprio dagli utenti, quindi poco interessate alla lunga.

Non riesco trovare gruppi in italiano ho perso il mio account avendo cambiato telefono e con voi non riesco a interagire perché trovo sempre inglese….uno schifo

jargon I haven't a clue about! Difficult getting back into my group again with new laptop.
Over complicated & others have given up with their links to the group. We're all knocking on a bit. Not as though you can take a spanner or hammer to it eh!

MeWe have taken money but denied access to my pages.
Update: MeWe although ceasing my access to my pages are continuing to demand payment. My bank have blocked them. Other USA based social media are trying to do the same... d

Mewe website says it's offline a lot! Site is not working well for a few days now.

I've been trying to sign up but it's impossible. Even the bot can't help me. Humans, forget it. What's the big deal? All I want to do is sign up. No help, no explanation, just dead in the water. Not worth the frustration.
