Before beginning the installation, I noticed a small tear/cut in the leather near one of the stitched edges of my steering wheel cover. I contacted the Mewant support team, and I was pleasantly surprised by how professionally they handled the situation.

A special thank you to Paimon and the entire Mewant team for addressing my concern quickly and standing behind their product. They immediately arranged to ship me a replacement, which gave me confidence in both their company and their commitment to customer satisfaction.

I also want to mention that the leather itself is beautiful, incredibly soft, and feels truly premium. The craftsmanship and materials are impressive, and it's clear that Mewant puts a lot of care into their products.

Problems can occasionally happen with any manufacturer, but what really matters is how a company responds. Mewant's outstanding customer service and willingness to make things right have earned my trust.

Polite response to my concern on installing my cover.

The leather steering wheel in my WRX was cracked and peeling. It left little bits of black stuff on my hands every time I drove.

Overall this steering wheel cover is an improvement. It's made of leather and has a matte finish that feels soft.

The top half of the cover fit the steering wheel perfectly. But the bottom half wasn't big enough to wrap all the way around, from front to back. So there is a 1/8" gap in the seem where I stitched it together. It doesn't look great, and the stitching feels rough on my fingers.

It took me about 5 hours to stitch it together. The hardest parts were tucking it in on the back of the wheel where I can't get my hands in there, or see what I'm doing. And the string they provided kept wadding itself up into knots, which took a long time to untie, over and over again. The leather also got some small rips and tears in it, while trying to shove it underneath the steering wheel spokes. All but one of the tears ended up being hidden, so I try to forget about them, and I hope they won't get worse. One of the rips was visible, so I put some leather glue on it.

It's far from perfect, but overall it's better than it was before. I would recommend it but with caution.

Horrible experience. Be extra carefull!!!
After waiting for one month, having paid approx 100 euro for leather, and no wrong car model or wheel size, the cover arrived, shorter that it should have been for approx. 10cm.!! So much so, and so tight that it broke while fitting and now that is broken could measure: approx. 10 cm shorter!!

Really good quality steering wheel cover (opted for the REAL leather not PU ) post took about three weeks but arrived well packaged . Inside the box were two large needles (1 was spare ) enough thread to affix cover twice over if you mess up . A link to follow online video instructions which was very clear and easy to follow, also a plastic fitting tool .
Took a couple of hours to fit but having done one now I,m sure I could do one in about an hour it is easy just take your time . The finish is excellent and the feel of the cover on your hands is luxurious much better than original feel of the steering wheel . I paid £54 .00 fully inclusive of delivery and it was worthwhile .
I definately recommend Mewant they have thought through everything and make it an easy to buy easy to fit process of a quality product 10/10.

The package arrived swiftly. Installation is simple enough but could be time consuming depending on your situation, lighting, ventilation of work area, etc.

results are 10/10. no need to remove the steering wheel too. amazing product.

2004 BMW 325Ci. Perfect fit. Would have preferred black thread instead of blue and red. Very tedious; looks so simple in the videos! :-) If I had to do it again, I would stitch the small items that go between the steering wheel spokes first. Then I would tackle the rest. My finishing is not up to my A-typs standards but it looks 100 times better then before.
