I ordered the DVD’s and protein powder then during the onboarding call, was convinced by Carver to get another bag of protein and their OMEGA 3 product. It took two solid weeks with hold times exceeding (yes, exceeding) 2:58. I also sent 3 emails & went into chat and despite my formal cancelation, they still placed a third order! Ive returned everything and product was received and signed for. It’s now 2 months and I’ve yet to receive anything! No communication indicating an issue or anything else. Shame on me for not doing a better job researching this company. Honestly I don’t believe they have customer service or a real support team. I’m out over $300.00 and am disabled and on a very tight budget. Ordering this was a stretch to my budget and who knows if I’ll ever get a response! HELP! this just isn’t right.

The products are fine, nothing special and very ezpensive. Then they automatically sign you up for a subscription wellness club that is $90/mo autopay required...didn't catch the charges in time to cancel. Horrible waste of money.

I didn't sign up for any of the extras. Got the DVDs and like using them. I also ordered the Vanilla Metabolic Super Protein powder and unfortunately think it is WAY TOO SWEET in taste (stevia).

Placed order decided to return got label sent it back waited for refund..it never came. Emailed 4xs with no answer!!

I’m currently on hold after trying to get through to a human on their Customer Support phone # since September. I’m waiting right now to talk to a supervisor as “Patrick” (who tells me that he is in South Africa) will only agree to send an RMA label to return an “auto order” dated 12/2/2023, containing 1 bag of the protein shake a 2 week supply, and 3 bottles of their “Spark metabolic capsules” a 3 month supply This is the first contact I have had with a callback from their customer support phone number. I was up sold for a 3month supply by an aggressive sales person. I was sent and charged for a 7 month supply on 9/3/2023. I have been trying to get a return call from the Metabolic Living Customer Support since September. I was on hold for 17 minutes waiting for an American supervisor but was told I will get a call back from such a person in the future. I’m not holding my breath!

This is the worst company ever. I have been calling to get a return authorization number and sat on hold for and hour. They say leave a phone number and they will call you back but never call. Their product doesn’t work. Where is the Better Business Bureau during all if this. All I’ve read so far are terrible reviews for this Scam Comoany

Ordered in August. Very careful not to sign up for subscription, but November 7th a 309.00 charge to my card for auto subscription. Today makes the eighth phone call to get a refund. Never received the product to be able to return merchandise. SCAM!!!! They blame UPS and UPS blames them 23 days trying to get a refund.

Update was told today I can’t get a refund until I return the product that they know because UPS has confirmed I never received.

This company refuses to refund me and keeps charging my card even though I signed up for a ONE time purchase. I’ve sent numerous requests, and had to go through my credit card. What a piece of joke this company is.

Don't buy from them!!!! They try to upsell you using high pressure tactics during their "onboarding call", it's ridiculous!!

$409.04 NO PRODUCT.
DO NOT give them your credit card or payapp information. Especially if you have a terminally ill spouse, and you can't always watch your PayPal account. They kept taking the money, and sending nothing! I'm just glad I checked when I did. Hopefully they will refund it.

They called to confirm order/payment and I was then double billed on my order, annnnd additional charges the next day that we're not even relevant amounts to coincide with my original purchase.
When confronting the double bill, they already had an email ready for "glitch in the system, but we're working on it" that auto responded when I addressed the issue via email. Coincidence or frequent occurrence? I had people contacting me left and right via text, email and phone trying to "move forward" with more product until I confronted the scam. Now I can't reach anyone and am getting zero responses on email.
Buyer beware, I should have checked reviews, they got me.

I too wish I had read the reviews first. Just signing up for the program is an order because there are sooooo many upsells. I finally just gave up because it was ridiculous. I emailed them immediately on Sept 2 and explained my issue and that I wanted to make sure that I only paid for the program and none of the other bs they were trying to sell me. Got an email assuring me that I would only be charged for the program and nothing else. Then there was the call from a mentor claiming to want to help me on my journey, but was really just a sales pitch to get me to buy more products to help me succeed. Then, on Sept 9, more charges showed up on my account. I emailed immediately and canceled my subscription (which I thought I already had) and told them I wanted no more charges on my account. Then today, I received the protein powder that I didn't order ($63). I called and told the lady that I wanted my money back and that I would be happy to return the item. That in itself was a hassel because she kept trying to get me to keep the product by offering me a partial refund and I could keep the product. By now, I just want this company out of my life, so she eventually agreed to refund my money once they get the product back. I thought she told me I would be receiving an email with a return label....Ha! just an email with the address, so I will be paying shipping, but it may be worth it to get rid of this company!!! Next time I see an ad for them on facebook or instagram I am going to leave a comment to help other people before they get taken for a ride!!

I bought the online version and received emails to set up my "onboarding" session. After waiting two times with no phone call, I decided to ask for a refund, I called the number on my email confirmation and received great customer service and my refund. While I was waiting for Nick to process my refund, I read some of the blog on the website. There is good information there, worth a read. If I feel I need a coach, I may try again.

They took my money before I'd confirmed and charged me double. I knew I'd made a mistake. Wish I'd read these reviews first.
Several of their customer service people have 'contacted' me but fig now that it's all a con and just a laugh for them. They even telephoned me but no refund and I get no further with any of them.
I've alerted Paypal and I'm blocking all their emails and the telephone number. Fingers crossed ! Do not use this company. I'm usually so careful - I feel like such a fool!

They charged me even though I clicked back and didn't complete the order. Then I emailed immediate asking them to refund the money and not post anything to me. They ignored my email and posted the stuff anyway. They told me to return the items for a full refund which I did months ago now. I chased and chased for the refund but no reply. The phone number provided doesn't connect and there seems to be no way to contact them. Must be a scam.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SCAM. I looked at one of these videos but soon realised it was a massive scam up-selling product on product. They prey on your emotions and weaknesses. Very clever. I stopped watching the ridiculously long videos only to find they had taken $40 from my bank account without me EVER HAVING AUTHORISED PAYMENT. I emailed demanding a refund. They stalled and tried to get me to call their refunds team the day after. I threatened legal action and told them they had committed fraud. The money was miraculously refunded immediately. What a gross waste of my time.78% 1star reviews!! Yet they only reply to the rare positive reviews🤣They deserve to go bust.

Ordered what I thought was a one-time purchase of the protein powder and pdf of book. Never received book. They then shipped me another three packages without authorization $132. Returned at a cost of $22 for shipping on 6/28/23. No refund. Called today - shipment was received by them on 6/30/23. Only now are they refunding me because I called them! Sketchy company.

These people are scam artists pure and simple. Once you sign up that have someone call you claiming to be a coach but what they try and do is sale you more stuff. I specifically told this lady I wanted NOTHING else and they sent me more of the protein powder and charged my account. The phone number on the slip is a voice-mail and as of 1 week I have yet to receive a call back. PLEASE don't order!!!! SCAM BUYER BEWARE!!!
