Un accompagnateur indispensable pour apprendre la musique. Pour ma part, je m'exerce au finger drumming et je dois dire que je suis très satisfait du système.
Sous son aspect ludique, l'apprentissage est réel.
En s'y mettant régulièrement (même quelques minutes par jour), on perçoit vite une progression.
Les tarifs sont honnêtes et le service client très aimable et réactif.

Melodics has helped me to achieve something I've wanted to do since as long as I can remember, which is learn to play an instrument, with the variety of lesson and fun songs it keeps me engaged and found it really easy to spend many hours in front of the kit everyday, not sure I would be able to achieve this on my own and for that I'm forever grateful. Thanks melodics team please never stop adding content and you'll have a customer for life.

Originally disappointed to find out I’ve been charged £131.88 after a free trial. I signed up to try the software after purchasing a new Roland drum kit and whilst impressive it is a tad too expensive right now.

I reached out to Melodics to seek a refund and received a friendly and prompt response. Money back in my account in less that 24 hours. I will be signing up to the software when I am able to commit more time to learning the drums. During the trail I found the software very enjoyable.

I'm on trail period, chose a subscription which will bill me when the trail finishes. I tried canceling the subscription, but instead it billed me right away!

What a shame, the app itself is fun but it's run as a scam. Don't trust your money on these con artists

I received a free 30-day trial of Melodics.com with my purchase of the Alesis Nitro Max E-Drum Kit from Guitar Center. Honestly, I didn’t even realize it was included until I started going through the freebies, but I’m glad I did—it’s an awesome tool for beginners.

The software is super easy to use, and so far, I haven’t run into any issues. The structured lessons and feedback make learning fun and engaging, especially for someone just starting out. That said, the pricing is a bit steep at $180 per year. I’d personally prefer a one-time lifetime purchase option instead of a recurring subscription. Since drumming is a hobby for me rather than an investment, I might only subscribe for a year and then cancel.

Overall, if you’re new to drumming and want a guided way to improve, Melodics is a fantastic resource. Just be mindful of the cost if you’re not planning to stick with it long-term.

good company was some issues with double charging though but i highly recommend this if you struggling with music theory (i didn't hence why i unsubscribed) if you looking for something more technical and more advanced i highly recommend to look into more sight reading based apps. but if you total beginner slight beginner medium level. i highly recommend melodics the thing i used the most is actually their interval and scale excersizes nice with a visual guide for how you should use your fingers in order. you will highly regret that later in your piano career if you skip to not learn that properly. another good thing is that they force you kinda to use the metronome. one thing i don't like about melodics is that the ideas is written sideways not vertical and i think that is a huge problem when you start playing with both hands. another thing that would be smart to add as a feature would be simple rhythm notation and notes alongside it so a person can review their playing tradiotionally and later transfer over to more advanced stuff. with melodics and this type of learning it is more muscle memory only and most people can't learn complicated pieces with that unless they are prodigys. but since melodics is mainly advertised to producers and total beginners i will still highly recommend this app. are you a person that are not looking to go much further than simple hiphop edm or dubstep (which is much more sound design than actual technical playing) then i highly recommend this app. are you looking to learn more soul rock metal other genres like that i will still recommend it for the most basic beginner stuff, but there are many techniques melodics won't cover.

I had a free trial with my new Roland drum kit, which has really helped (I'm a returning drummer after about a 25 year break, so I'm back to basics. I signed up to the premium which is giving me lots things to practice to re-establish some skill!

I've been amazingly impressed with Melodics!! As a new drummer, I simply can't get enough!

I can honestly confirm other reviewers' statements that they "couldn't wait to get done with work and get home to practice." It's so true!! 42 days in a row at this point—Melodics has helped shape my intention of learning to play the drums into a habit of personal growth.

Melodics got my coordination and comprehension of the basics up and running very quickly. It really seems to tie the lessons in it's guided section together well, so you build on what you've learned in a clearly sequential way while also understanding why you're playing what you're playing.

The tips/tricks and related info emails they send as you make progress are also very useful. Each one has been 100% relevant, both guiding me to build a more effective practice and giving me additional material to dig into as I move forward.

Melodics support has been absolutely stellar. The very few issues I've had were addressed in record time by a extremely personable and capable support team.

I've found that negative comments I've seen about this app, such as "it doesn't really help you learn to read music" can be rectified by combining it with a little outside study. And in fact, as I've worked my way through the guided path, Melodics has helped me make sense out of exercises I've been practicing from drum "stick control" rudiments books.

For me, Melodics has been THE RESOURCE for overcoming the biggest hurdle I face in learning something new, which is consistently finding the fun in it to keep practicing!

Melodics is a great way to get used to playing the keys (or sample pad). I've used it for both, and I would definitely recommend it.

I'm giving it a 4/5 rather than a 5/5 simply because it can be quite bugging at times, and this only became really annoying at the more complex lessons, later in the guided course. Songs with many notes seem to graphically overload the computer, even if it's not a graphically intense program, so there must be some sort of memory leak or something not well programmed under the hood. When many notes start to appear on the screen, the program starts to jitter. This can cause the program to think you have played correct notes when you didn't and can just be annoying in general due to the jitter/lag. Sometimes, the backing track just stops playing when you're in the "wait" mode. This is also quite annoying. But this only started becoming a problem with the second to last song in the curriculum for me. It's not impossible to get through, but it's just really annoying. I'm trying to contact customer service about this, but I haven't heard back from them yet.

I would definitely recommend it though, it's a really fun way to learn to get comfortable with keys or sample pads. They also have a course for electric drums if you have one, but I haven't tried it.

Melodics wont teach you any music theory or course, or how to read proper sheet music, but I would say a year subscription is something that can get you through both the guided programs for the sample pad and keys, and practice some more with the lessons/songs in their library. I would say Melodics is perfect for if you want to get comfortable with playing the keys before you perhaps get a proper teacher to teach you once a week. I haven't done that yet, but I plan to once my first year subscription runs out.

I can’t recommend Melodics enough, I generally advanced more in 2 days using this app than I did in the previous 5 weeks before using it, it’s easy to use and well set out, you literally follow the dots and learn parrot fashion, I found the hardest part of starting drumming was controlling each limb independently but as you are following the dots this is a lot easier using the app and you can suddenly do it without realising you can.
I admit when I signed up I only intended to use the free week then cancel but I ended up signing up for a year.
Try the free week, you got nothing to lose but I reckon you’re likely to carry the subscription on.

It’s a great tool for improving your motor skills. Your finger drumming and piano playing will improve. You won’t learn how to read sheet music or much music theory directly but you will pick up little things along the way. What I know largely came from taking more traditional, in person music lessons. That being said, the support isn’t great. If the canned FAQ doesn’t cover your problem, you’re out of luck. Getting a response from a real person isn’t likely if you can find the means to send a request to one and if you do, the information is likely not to be particularly helpful from my experience. Apparently, they don’t think you pay enough to get interactive support. Also, more than once, the software failed to save a day’s accomplishments, forcing you to redo a lesson. The progress tracking is good when it works and frustrating when it fails. The positives outweigh the negatives but not by much.

Amazing app. Have been using it for learning the drums for years and am very happy with it.

Dark patterns on cancel subscription. Went through the cancellation process, skipped all their desperate offers to continue my subscription, then when I clicked the final cancel button - nothing happened. Kicked my back a page. Turns out they flip the next button on the last screen, and the big highlighted button is the one to keep your subscription.
