I paid for Plus and was shortly logged out of my account automatically. I tried to log back in but my password wasn’t working. So I tried to reset the password on numerous occasions but never received an email with the confirmation code. I’ve emailed their support team twice but never received a response. Total waste of money. I can only assume I was blocked from my account as I was reporting catfishes on there. Avoid

I am digusted with this site they talk then they just stop with no explanation on top of that I keep getting people calling me when I answer they have there penis out and they are rubbing there private part on camera seriously these incidents needs to be monitored then sent to the police there been a few of these one today and 2 or 3 others on different days

Stay away from this app they deleted your account even if you have spent money on the app they say they deleted it cos you violated the terms and conditions when you never!!! but they allow people on the app who try to scam people out of money offer people sex ask for gifts in lives for sexual videos or pics how is that not violating the terms and conditions but you have a general conversation with people that’s a violation according to meet me and there support team well if you call that a support team you can send them email after email they don’t reply just a joke!!

Full of fake profiles and scammera. Bot infested app that used to be fun now it's a frustrating discouraging pile of waste. Literally it's. Piece of poop app. There are numerous messages that just say Kik then something else that makes you go to there nudes model page or onlyfans. Hookers ask for money on there fake cat fishers that ask for money out of desperation pretending to be your girlfriend.

I've been hacked, had 80k diamonds stolen from me & I am being ignored by support. Avoid. Frauds.

There are numerous articles online about how this company supposedly screens for sex offenders. They dont! Me and a few others have actually been able to find catfish profiles, find the true identities of these people and find out that they are hardcore registered offenders. 18+ site or not.. A predator is a predator. This company does NOTHING to prevent sexual violent predators and they make it too easy to hide identities. Meetme is more about virtue signaling and money than protecting vulnerable users.. There are legit people that go on there simply because they need someone, anyone to talk to.. It's their only social interaction, but meetme allows predators to make new profiles constantly and harass, bully, and even blackmail people..

I'm experiencing lots of problems accessing my MeetMe account. I've been on this app for more than two years. For the last three months, it has not been possible to access anymore in it anymore. I don't know why. Everything starts from the impossibility of accessing MeetMe through Facebook. Password recovery does not work. I wrote an email to the support service. They suggested I do some tasks that I did. But it does not work. And they completely disappeared!
This is ridiculous!
I lost all the connections I had with people in the APP. This is incredibly unprofessional!
I had a similar experience with Skout (you can find a similar issue and review I wrote in Trustpilot). I argue the companies are in contact or the two apps are part of the same company.
The serious issue is that I don't know how they are using my data when I cannot access the app.

This app and its conglomerates, are not only fascist. But run by Chinese Nationalists….Your data is not safe. This is a toxic environment filled with hate and ego.

I have been using MeetMe since 2021 to watch Live streams. I enjoyed using the app for that purpose because the quality of its streamers, the content & viewers were great. However, over the last year (and particularly since I started streaming regularly in 2022), the app has become toxic, racist, and dangerous.

For anyone thinking about joining MeetMe, you should think twice. Although the app is categorized as a dating app, it has become an app for criminals and criminal activity. By this I mean, there are inmates in jails and prisons throughout the world watching and listening to MeetMe's Live Streamers. There are also violent & dangerous people, drug dealers, ex-cons, prostitutes, stalkers, sex offenders, and pedophiles using the app to stream and watch live streams. Although some of these people are on the app simply for entertainment, many are on it looking for their next victim. A friend I made on the app (a single young mother in her 20s) was targeted by a man who found her on the MeetMe/Plenty of Fish platform back when both companies operated together under “The Meet Group.” The man saw this young woman's profile and from there tracked her on another social media platform, where he began messaging her. After communicating online for some time, this young woman met him in person and within three (3) days, the man beat her up and threatened to kill her and her one (1) year old child. This young woman had no idea that the man who messaged her was an ex-felon that was out on probation after serving several years in prison for physically assaulting various women, one of whom he tied up and kept in a basement. My friend reported this man to The Meet Group to make sure that his profile was removed. The Meet Group removed the man’s profile but within a few days he had created a new account and was back to using the MeetMe app.

If this is not bad enough, there are many people on the app that are nasty and try to bully others. There are those who make racist comments, threaten violence, and those that try to scam and intimidate other streamers and viewers into sending them money (wire transfers). There are also those that ask for diamonds (gifts that a viewer can send to a Live streamer) and will not speak to you if you do not send any.

The problem is not that these types of people are on MeetMe. The problem is that MeetMe does not do much to keep people like this off their app, or to keep their Live streamers safe. If you are scammed by someone on the app and report that person to MeetMe, MeetMe may ban/delete that user’s account, but that user will create a new profile and be back on the app to scam someone else.

If you are called vulgar/hateful/racist names by a racist user or viewer (this includes other Live streamers), MeetMe will NOT ban that user if they are a “Top Badge” or earn a lot of money for the app.

If someone on MeetMe threatens you with physical violence, MeetMe will not ban that person's account. They will instead ban yours (this is what happened to me). This is what it's like to use MeetMe…MeetMe does not care about its streamers.

MeetMe also profiles their streamers. For example, if you are person of Asian or Hispanic origin and you are new to streaming, MeetMe will not do anything to help you become a popular streamer. They will instead focus their efforts on white streamers and black streamers, most of whom are in America. They will not offer you a featured show like they do for people of ethnicities they prefer. They will also block your IP address if they do not like you so you will not be able to log into their app.

So, in sum… do not invest your time or money into Meetme. They support crime, violence, drug use, racism (which is promoted on the MeetMe platform) and they have no respect or concern for their members safety.

Mostly scams/spam. Can't verify myself. Can't delete messages. No 2-step verification. No privacy controls. Requires verification but fails every verification attempt.

Do not sign up for meet me its a scam! I sogned up and paid for the Meetme + and just keep getting suspended for no reason at all. Its impossible to earn diamonds as they just keep banning people so its all just a scam! Dodgey site. Yet they allow people on lives smoking weed etc but then ban me for literally no reason at all with no explanation.

The verification process is an absolute joke even after many attempts to verify my identity it still didn't work despite me looking identical to my profile picture.then you,ve got the fake ass scammers using other people's pictures but probably don't have to verify then you got the sick perverted men who think theym all gods gift to women and an oil painting which theym far from it.then there's the no option to choose who can message you distance wise so you get every idiot round the world messaging you thinking it's even remotely possible to meet up.therefore the entire site is sold gold trash and needs closing down

This app should really be shut down. It is a scammer's playground. Hardly anyone is verified. It is only good for those whom are real and want to do live video with friends etc but I would say 80% of profiles are fake, one photo, only has gender and if online today and are always good looking to entice guys to like then chat.
Either that is it webcam girls writing a pack of lies wanting you to go onto Kik or Telegram and you soon find out they are not where they said they are and just want to get you to engage with their services, not in it for real dating.
Some of the scammers can be smelled a mile off, always same opening lines, its like they are easy to spot as so little on profile. anyone serious/genuine would write more and have more than one photo.
MeetMe claim they take abuse seriously, do they hell, if they did, they would not allow so much fakery and scamming to be rife.
AVOID THIS APP.

A very vile app where far too many men just want sex on there to use women and pester you in your inbox this app needs to close down or be reported

Meetmegroup needs investigated by Doj or simply shutdown. I have An email stating they take every report seriously. Yet I have documentation proving multiple profiles reported daily for months, a fake location that fake accounts use. Washington DC DC. The documents and emails directly to Meetmegroup and parshipmeet will show multiple attempt pointing these out and nothing is done. It needs shut down. It's one of the internet sewer sites!

In the uk there are so many people from a place called Annan water. If they choose that they come at the top. If they chat to somebody like me and change it to another location. When you say where is Annan water they are like none of your business. So anybody from there be cautious.

Also the amount of scammers are increasing to a point now where it takes over. You report it and nothing happens. Over active mods block you if your pic hasn’t loaded, you don’t speak quick enough blocked.

If you’re trying to type a report, if they block you it closes the report and they do nothing.
