Meacode is terrible company to deal with and my only regret is not reading the reviews first. If you are wiser and consulted the review page, do yourself a favour and don't deal with this company.

I paid extra for express delivery and have still not received my item. No reply to my emails. What a waste of money.

Total scam. Got the item in November ( after enquiring where it was). No paperwork, no order number. Suspected it was a scam after receiving it, and decided to send back. Hence 4 months back and forth with customer service, telling me I needed to send it back to China (their website, after scrolling through the multiple pages of info regarding returns, gives a return address in Leeds). I received a chargeback from my bank, Meaco are constantly bothering me to send the item back to China, at considerable cost. In order to get my order number in November, I was told I wasn't a customer of theirs, I must have got it from another company. Funnily enough, they realised I was, once the bank did a chargeback!!

Purchased a video doorbell from them and then paid an additional £30 for a yearly subscription. Working fine for the first few days then all of a sudden the motion detection stopped working. Spoke at length with the chat bot on the app who eventually stopped replying, asking me to try a load of different things to get it to work, to no avail.

Emailed Meacode and the app developer and Google Play (for the subscription). Google won't refund me, Meacode asked a few questions and have also stopped replying to me now. Still searching for my refund...

They are a total scam and should be avoided at all costs.

This is a complete scam. I have no idea how and why they have the recommendation but the watch is cheap, poor quality and impossible to return. It is manufactured at a warehouse in China and you will never see any trace of a refund as you cannot return it (my watch has been sitting in Chinese customs for four months by now). Avoid at all costs!

Extremely poor quality and doesn't have near the language options as advertised. your phone does all the work not the ear buds. The customer service is a disgrace to say the least! Stay away from this company. I've had to initiate a chargeback. How this scamming company is allowed to keep scamming people out of there money with no consequences is beyond me.

So Meacode's website clearly adverstises the following word for word. Customizable Lenses-Comes with interchangeable anti-blue light and sunglass lenses
When I queried where my sunglass lenses were I was told that I neded to purchase them, they did not come with those. Then when I said to send me the link to see what the lenses cost, they said they don't sell interchangable lenses, I would have to buy a new pair of the sunglass variety.
This is false advertising. Don't be caught out as I have.

Absolutely appalling. I ordered a mattress hoover back in December following reading a best buy review.

On the day of delivery I received a picture confirming delivery, which was clearly not my house. After multiple back and forth emails, including picture evidence proving it was not delivered, I still have not received either the item or refund. It is currently April 2026.

Customer service has been ludicrous informing I cannot get a refund as the product is still somewhere out in their system.

Clearly they choose the delivery service who reportedly delivered it somewhere else, it seems a relatively easy way to resolve, but no. I have recently found the best review site I used added some of this information advising buyers should be informed.

This is a drop-ship operation selling cheap unbranded products from Hong Kong with a huge mark-up and no guarantee. The clothes steamer I bought did not even work. Thankfully I had paid by credit card and was reimbursed by my card provider. I wouldn’t recommend buying anything from this company as there is zero interest once they have taken payment.

Watched a review on doorbells meacode came top in one review, gave it a go, had chat up and running and no problem until recently, live feed shows an older time slot even my vehicle is still on drive and I'm at work, misses ring at door by about 10mins and keeps turning off motion mode, tried chat again and again and nothing now.. will be changing over to another make.. RING door bell....

I had my new video doorbell less than two months when I discovered that its battery charge lasted for just two days.

About 30 emails later they still say they want to “get to the bottom of my problem”
They ask for videos of the problem etc and keep suggesting that it’s my fault,
Why would anyone want to see a video of a battery going flat?

They’re not going to replace it.

I’ve now given up on these crooked and stupid people and have lost €130 buying a piece of s—t.

How do these people get away with their dishonesty.

I ordered the video doorbell online, having read the review referred to by others here. I subsequently saw the reviews on this site and resigned myself to the fact I had wasted my money.

To my surprise, the item was delivered 7 working days after the order.
The camera came with two screws and rawl plugs for fixing. I would recommend not using the supplied screws as they are very low quality.

The camera itself is fine. It took ten minutes to set up, once I had charged it. The motion sensor works well. You can, through the app, have conversations with whoever has come to the door. The quality of the video is good.

There is a yearly subscription of €32 for storage etc.

Overall, I can't speak to the longevity of the product because I've only had it for one week. I will say that I'm very happy with it thus far. The battery life, before recharging is required, remains to be established but, at the moment, it looks like it should last over two months. That estimate is based on the battery charge indicator in the app. It is too early to say whether that estimate is accurate

In summary, my experience has been a good one.

*update*: it's been four weeks now and the video doorbell is still showing over 50% charge in the battery. I know, reading reviews here, that most people have had a terrible experience with this company. It may well be that the product will stop working or start giving problems but, a month in, I'm bound to say that my experience has been a good one.

I was sent a cheap, generic Chinese video doorbell worth about 10% of what I paid to Meacode. They would not recognise this. The refund process is a sham. The company is a scam. I got lucky and got all my money back through a credit card charge back request. Meacode are still, today, trying to convince me they are legitimate. It would have been easier to start with a Google search "Is Meacode a scam?"

Disgusting company, never received item I'd bought in August for my partners bday end of September 2025, tracking kept saying it hadn't even gone through to their depot , stopped replying to messages , end of September I put a dispute in with my bank and was awarded it. Roll forward to March 2026 and Meacode are trying to say the item was delivered 1st saying i signed for it then sending screenshot of tracking from October and that I need to repay it , and then trying to blame the neighbours after they said I'd signed for it which I did not as I never received it

Hi all, this is a honest review! Today I received my headset one and a half week after ordering.
I do admit that i was a little unsure to put my order after reading all those negative comments.
So me myself, i had a very good experience and thought I should share this.

When advertised it says it does not need a subscription and stored on SD card. It does need a subscription to view video what a waste of money

Would put Zero if I could. I ordered what turned out to be an Inflated price camera doorbell which arrived but the app failed to connect . I then complained only to be offered 3% and keep it or return for almost as much as I paid !
Credit card says return it and see if they refund me but..I will be out of pocket even more! How is this right?

Scam. Beware. Aggressive harassment even after a sale is cancelled.

I orered an item which was not delivered. I have had two months of back and forth emails attempting to establish a replacement or refund. I have had obstacle after obstacle put in my way regarding this . Apparently arranging a replacement involves all sorts of difficulties I won't go into here.Strange for an online shopping agency. I would have thought such transactions would be straight forward.
I would strongly advise DO NOT shop with them. I will be reporting them to an appropriate consumer body. Jeanette Stewart.

This company is a scam . do not purchase from them. They will take your money and keep givng excuses for months on end. The worst experience I have encountered. I purchased a smart watch and returned it because it didn’t work and now after weeks of chasing I was told I must pay a customs fee because it is held up at customs. They keep giving me ridiculous explanations that Australia Post definitely do not concur with.
