Upon thorough examination of your feedback and an internal review, we noted that your name does not appear in our records, making it challenging for us to validate your specific case. Nevertheless, we understand the frustration that delays in refunds and concerns about fraudulent transactions can cause.

We acknowledge that there have been instances where we faced challenges fulfilling orders due to out-of-stock situations. At McGrocer, we are committed to minimizing such occurrences by constantly updating our inventory management systems.

In cases where an order is cancelled and your payment is still in escrow, the item is immediately voided, and the payment gateway is instructed to process a refund automatically. It's important to note that in such instances, there will be no refund visible in your account because no deduction was made from your bank balance. We encourage customers to compare their bank balance before and after the transaction to observe this.

For cases where we capture the payment, there might be a 3 - 7 days delay in the refund reflecting in your account. This is typically due to processing times between the payment gateway and your bank. While such delays are rare, we recently encountered technical errors with a specific payment system provider, squareup.com x Bankful. We addressed this issue and, as a precaution, ceased using the service providers involved.

Regarding the mention of a fraudulent transaction on your credit card, please be assured that we take such allegations very seriously. We extend an invitation for you to provide concrete evidence to support your claims. Should you present irrefutable proof of a non-refund, we commit to taking immediate action to rectify the situation and compensate you for any damages. However, without such evidence, we may need to reserve the right to pursue legal action for defamation and malicious damage if/when we're able to identify your true identity.

It's crucial to highlight that McGrocer boasts a proven track record of serving over 25,000 customers worldwide, with an exceptional 99.9% satisfaction rate. We remain steadfast in our commitment to providing a positive and secure shopping experience for all our customers.

Awful company

Placed an order, emailed to confirm. My order was cancelled and I received an email to assure me the products were in stock and to place my order again. 2nd order cancelled as well and no communication from the company. AVOID!!!

Thrilled with the service. Highly recommend.

I was nervous about placing an order because of some bad reviews. So glad I decided to ignore the bad reviews. I ordered some Fray Bentos products for delivery to Florida because they are not sold here and they are one of the things I miss most from back home. They arrived perfectly packed only 9 days after placing my order. I received numerous email updates during the 9 days advising of the current status and am completely thrilled with the service that was provided. I am now about to tuck in to one of my delicious pies!!!

My Order cancelled

My order was accepted and paid for then after 2 days they cancelled due to "insufficient stock" yet their website still shows "in stock".
One third of my £41.42 outlay was attributable to delivery charge. I am being refunded.

I read all the negative reviews and was…

I read all the negative reviews and was scared to place an order, however I decided to give it a chance because they also shop at Costco. I received my purchase after 5 days with UPS, well packaged with care and my products arrived flawlessly! (it was peanut butter pretzels which I thought will arrive in shattered Pisces but there wasn't even one).

I would give negative stars if I could

I would give negative stars if I could. I was told there was a mistake in the price that was on the site and needed to pay more money. When I told them I didn't want to proceed and i wanted a refund, they still pulled the money from my account...waiting to see if they will actually issue a refund

Do not use

Shocking service, over £60 paid and no product. Emailed after 5 days as no shipping details, no response so emailed to say cancel order, responded immediately with apology and email saying order now been shipped. Email from Evri saying order on way to them, then another from Evri saying order returned - over £60 paid and no product delivered - avoid like the plague
