i had a dead battery - they installed the wrong type

i had a dead battery. they have a shop near my job. i went there and they installed the wrong type of battery. they did not ask for my approval. they told me they had a battery in stock and installed it when i left the shop and was on my way home i saw that the receipt said lead acid .... my car is a 2018 jeep renegade and the spec is to use an AGM battery. due to the electronics of the car the battery they installed will 100% fail within 6 to 12 months! i told them i spected to pay a high cost as i knew it was a more expensive battery . they said just that it would be less.
this is a real failure to check the specs and tell the customer you do not have the required part.

Would Never Recommend This Location

I had an extremely disappointing experience today

I ordered tires online the day before my son's appointment that were listed as fitting my vehicle (by the tag number). When my son arrived for his appointment, he was told the shop ordered the wrong tires. My original online quote was $564, but somehow the total jumped to over $900. Even after adding an alignment, there is no reasonable explanation for such a dramatic increase, except that the tires were larger than their online specs called for.

To make matters worse, the online pricing does not clearly include installation and other fees, so the final bill is nowhere near what you're led to expect. It feels like classic bait-and-switch pricing.

My son also had a 1:00 PM appointment, arrived 20 minutes early, and was told the work would take about two hours. Instead, he waited nearly five hours for the car to be done. Ridiculous to just install tires and an alignment. Why have an appointment? They overbook.

As expected, they also tried to sell me additional repairs while he was there. After everything else that had happened, there was no chance I would authorize any more work with them.

The only reason I went through with the purchase was that my son urgently needed tires that day. Otherwise, I would have had him walk out and go somewhere else. I called the shop twice and spoke with the Manager (Bradley?). Really, only excuses.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location. I find it hard to believe it maintains a 4.8-star Google rating. There are plenty of other tire shops that are more transparent with their pricing and respect their customers' time.

Both Josh on Fletcher in Tampa were was…

Both Josh on Fletcher in Tampa were was helpful. The service was fast as ever and they were the kindest. I wanted to hug the manager Josh because he fix my rear view mirror in a Jiffy and kept me up to date on what he was doing! Keep up the awesome work. I would recommend everyone to this location if it’s up to me. Very satisfied customer. Thanks to both Josh. Happy face!!!🙂
