Mavis Tire - Burleson Anmeldelser 

Pulled in to Mavis today, after seeing Discount Tire was covered up. Having seen Mavis ads on tv and internet, I thought they would be a good competitor to Discount Tire. Boy was I wrong! Walked into Mavis, there were two employees there at the counter. Neither looked up and greeted me, or welcomed me to their store. After arriving at their counter, I still had to wait with no attention given me, as they acted like they were busy. Finally, after 3 or 4 minutes of standing there, waiting, one employee looked my way. I told him I needed my tires checked for nails because one was way down in pressure from yesterday’s drive to and from work. He asked me to pull over horizontally in front of their bays, and a guy from the garage would take care of me. When I did so, the garage guy started checking my tires for air pressure for the purpose of adding more air to my tires. I then told him I needed him to pull my car in, take off the wheels and check for nails in the tires. He then said he couldn’t do that unless I went back indoors and had the counter person write up a ticket. I went back inside to the counter, and asked for a ticket to be written up , so my tires could be checked. He told me he couldn’t create a new ticket for me, because his system was “down.” Unbelievable! I told him that I had come there for service , and was not happy about how I was treated. He told me, “ have a good day.” I’ll never again visit any Mavis store! If they think they are going to compete with Discount Tire, they’re sadly mistaken!

They took over two hours for a tire rotation. The young gentleman at the desk told me that it would only be about 30 to 45min. I believed it because they didn’t seem busy. I walked around the building and they didn’t have many cars in the bay. As I waited I talked to another customer and had shown up at 11:30am and it was already 2pm and he was just coming in for an oil change and to fix his tire because it had a nail. He ended up leaving around 2:30. I went back outside and my truck was just sitting there. I figured they were done. I went to the front desk guy and told him I would like my truck back. He had someone pull it up and my tires were not air to the proper tire pressure. There was also another man that showed up and he was having to instruct the tech guy on how to put his tire back in his rim because they were having a hard time doing it. It seems like the team lacks experience and transparent communication.

I have always had good service at Mavis formally known as NTB. There are times I've had to wait a while, but I usually allow for that because I wait for my vehicle.

Christopher Page has done an excellent job assisting and meeting all my needs, very pleased with the service
