Beautiful routes and absolutely brilliant atmosphere!
I love sitting in the deck chairs having a celebratory pizza (or one of the amazing cakes- the catering companies are also highly recommended!) after the race.
These races make a great weekend away, would definitely recommend to any friends!

Such a great vibe at every race. Every course is well thought through and well sign posted in addition to being in beautiful spots around the country. Can’t say enough great things about these guys.

I’ve been going to these races since 2017 and they are always fab days out. Great courses, awesome atmosphere and good value. Free race photos, free beer, what’s not to love!

The best trail race I ever did was Exmoor ultra x. Nice technical routes and beautiful forest.

Super interesting courses, unreal scenery, helpful stewards, great race village, food stations are well stocked, always lots of really friendly runners.

Been running with Maverick since just before the pandemic and it’s been a great adventure. Great choice of races, distances, locations and loads of cool partners giving out goodies. Has a tribe mentality as you’ll see lots of the same friendly faces helping at events and that human touch is what makes it for me.

Maverick put on fantastic races in beautiful locations. They are very well organised and really focus on the needs of the runner. Highly recommended!

I have loved every single Maverick event I have attended! Always seamlessly organised, stunning and challenging routes and a wonderful friendly atmosphere in the race village. I would recommend this race series to anyone and everyone.

Superbly organised events, in beautiful locations.

I've run at a various Maverick events now around the country and they've never failed to impress. They originally caught my interest over other races thanks to being held at proper destination locations - stunning national parks and unspoilt areas of natural beauty.

The Classic Series events have distances perfect for beginners and experienced trail runners alike, while their X Series will inevitably leave anyone's legs aching for days (in a good way...sort of :D)! The Dark Series are a great novelty too offering something a bit different to your everyday run.

I've found the option to test different trail shoes for free on the runs a nice addition, while the cakes, pizzas, and drinks on offer are always more than welcome at the end.

Excellent vibe, great technical routes, friendly team of Marshall’s and well stocked outposts. Lots of choice for all level of runner too- and all are welcome. Love it!

A great community spirit between the staff and incredibly well organised events with fantastic routes and great facilities. All in all, absolutely brilliant.

Fantastic events! Really well organised, super friendly and in the best locations. Highly reccomend for anyone after some fresh air and an adventure.

Fantastic trail race organisers. I've done the Long route on the Jurassic coast and the Ultra in Exmoor.
It feels like the events are organised by runners who know the details of what runners want/need:
Deck chairs at the race village
Suncream at the aid stations
Great race photos that are included in the entry fee
Routes are beautiful and fun (if technical!)
Course is well marked so don't need route on watch
Desirable medals
I will keep on looking out for more events and recommend for any trail runner - old or new!

Not bad at all. Trail well marked and aid stations were fantastic, if oddly spaced out.

Needs better toilet facilities + to set runners off in waves.
