The motor home was in almost new condition, very clean.
The staff were very efficient and friendly in both the pickup and return.
We had it for 2 weeks and didn't have one problem.

The hire process was very easy both booking online and attending the premises where we collected our vehicle.

Waited over an hour to collect the van despite appointment. Van water gauges was spoilt, made it hard to plan my stops. Van side door step was missing, kids unable step in and out without assistance.

Everything went really well

Due to a cyclone in Queensland, we weren’t able to arrive until three days later. Maui wasn’t very accommodating regarding the rental period. A lot of the paperwork could have been handled before the vehicle was handed over. As a result, it unfortunately takes a long time before you can take possession of the vehicle.

Great service, clean and fully equipped van. Loved this experience. Will definitely do it again

The renting process was easy and swift enough. The vehicle was well-equipped and clean.

THE CAMPER WE HIRED HAD A FAULTY BATTERY/RECHARGE SYSTEM SO THE HEATER ETC WOULD NOT WORK WHEN FREEDOM CAMPING (IN THE WINTER SEASON). WE HAD TO TURN THE VEHICLE ON TO MOVE BED UP & DOWN & BLAST WITH HEATER NOW & AGAIN TO WARD OFF THE COLD.
WHEN WE RETURNED THE VEHICLE THE STAFF MEMBER MENTIONED THE ISSUE HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY REPORTED ON THE VEHICLE. ALSO THE LOCKS ON THE DRAWERS DID NOT HOLD THEM IN POSITION TURNING CORNERS ETC & OFTEN FELL OUT DURING THE TRIP.
APART FROM THAT HAVING A MAJOR INFLUENCE ON OUR EXPERIENCE WE DID'NT LET THAT RUIN THE ENJOYMENT THE OF THE EXPERIENCE OF USING YOUR CAMPERVAN.

Pick up was orderly even though it was obviously busy.
The show through of the vehicle and how it operates was informative.
Vehicle was only five months old and was in top condition and very clean.
Everything we required was in the vehicle prior to departure.
Drop off was efficient and use of airport transfer from depot was appreciated.

The handover at Christchurch was terrible. The guy that did the handover spent 5 minutes with us at most. He didn't even step inside the van. He did not go through the damage report with us. The first we knew of it was when the email arrived 15 minutes after we had left.
The van was in average condition. Toilet door cracked and hard to open. Lots of body damage on the exterior of the motorhome.

The Christchurch depot was close to the airport with shuttle buses too and from.The motor home was well equipped. We had the higher level of insurance cover that they offered which gave me peace of mind. The vehicle was not as clean inside as I would have liked, so we did extra cleaning ourselves on the first day to make it more comfortable to live in.

The maui river-6 berth is amazing campervan. My family and I was enjoying roadtrip in south island. The unit is very compact, from cooking utility, toilet, and electric power. For driver, iveco unit is fun to drive, although the dimension is bigger than standard suv but still manageable.

We got a Maui Cascade 4 Berth and were pretty happy with the vehicle. Since we had almost no previous camping experience, we would have highly appreciated a more thorough introduction when we picked it up in Christchirch, which we realized only later when using it and many things were unclear. The vehicle lost quite a few parts during our 3 weeks journey, but generally it is sturdy. But you ABSOLUTELY have to get their insurance, or you'll probably spend a lot more! Oh, and do not try to actually cram 4 people into a 4 berth! Return in Auckland was super quick, smooth and friendly.

The van was clean and as advertised. The check-in and drop off processes were chaotic. The wait was over an hour on each end.

Smooth journey from airport shuttle,picking up and tour of campervan..great staff..well maintain fleet

Camper an was less than two years old.
Plenty of grunt and drove well.
Had to tape all the drawers and doors shut when moving otherwise they all flung open, plates cutlery rubbish bin etc...all over the place.
House battery was stuffed and required replacing. I was told it was a charging issue. It wasnt. Eventually they replaced the battery. So no power unless the camper was running.
Various other issues.
Over priced
Should have hired a car and booked air bnb or taken a tent
