Look no further ! Rob saved my life & I'm only the Mother. My son loved, OK maybe thats an over statement, trying to get to grips with a subject he loathed and with Rob's outstanding help, got him through his GCSE's with a unbelievable B grade when we thought he'd be lucky to get a D !

Before taking the course that Mr Rob Carter had advertised , my maths was one of my weakest subjects during my GCSE period . When I was honored with the chance to be taught by Rob I went from a Grade 5 to a Grade 6 in less than 5 months . I was amazed at how useful the videos that Rob provides are . Now with my GCSEs finished and my A-levels beginning I will never look back at the opportunity that I was given.

I had Rob from GCSE where I was working at a grade 5 level, but once I started having sessions with him I ended up with getting an 8 in my actual exam. They way he explained things and concepts to me were amazing; he made something go from impossible to easy to understand after an explanation. When I started to struggle at A-Level I got to having Rob again and he helped again. He was amazing and thank you to him as I'm now at my uni of choice. Furthermore, he was just amazing, patient, friendly and kind.

Rob is an excellent teacher. He is friendly and very patient. My son had really benefitted from having lessons with him. He explains in the easiest manner and shares lots of resources , which is very helpful in revision.

Rob is a wonderful maths teacher. His approach is friendly and hugely constructive and encouraging. Our daughter was struggling and he helped boost her confidence and ability. I can’t recommend him more.

My son George found Rob's sessions and all the video resources really helpful in preparing for GCSE - it was great the way it fitted into his (busy and sporty) schedule and was bite sized. He went up 2 grades from his prediction for GCSE. I also didn't need to nag him, or get involved at all - he took complete responsibility and arranged the sessions between himself and Rob which was really valuable. Thank you so much Rob, I'm looking forwards to Illy getting as much from Mathmo this year!

Rob is the most enthusiastic and brilliant teacher. His unique method of teaching helped Ollie enormously, both with confidence and ability in maths. Most importantly, Ollie went on to achieve a grade 7 in maths that would have been impossible without the help of Rob.

Rob helped me go from a grade 5 to 7. His creative way of teaching really helped me understand maths better, making it more enjoyable. He worked around my dyslexia and dyscalculia and made sure I learnt in a way that was best for me. Definitely recommend ❤️.

Rob is an excellent maths tutor, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! He is calm, patient, encouraging and very good at explaining complex math concepts. My daughter Emily greatly enjoyed her sessions with him and her confidence increased hugely. All the work they did together gave her the best possible foundation for studying Computer Science at Uni.

Rob has been extremely helpful and has raised by 7 grade in maths to a very high 9 for my GCSE. If it wasn't for him I would not have gotten my result. I was getting 60% and because of him I got to 92% in my GCSE.

My twins had their GCSE this past year (2024), and Rob started tutoring them from the end of 2023. Our objective was to ensure they made their grades for GCSE maths with a good pass. Both had learning difficulties, and Maths was a struggle, but both achieved a strong pass in Maths, assisted by his tutoring (online) and of course their normal coursework too. The most important thing was Rob allowed the them increased self confidence, to be able to ask questions where nessesary, and to improve on the specific topics that each struggled with.

Rob has been great helping both my children get through all their maths milestones - highly recommend him.

Rob is an amazing tutor who helped me so much with Scottish Higher Maths. He’s patient, encouraging, and knows exactly how to explain things in a way that makes sense. Before working with him, I found a lot of the topics difficult, but Rob broke everything down and really boosted my confidence. Superstar! I can't recommend Mathmo highly enough. With a dyslexic/dyscalculic child, Rob's fun personality, engaging bite sized teaching and patient guidance enabled our daughter to achieve two grades (nearly three) higher and changed her attitude to maths and learning. He started with the basics to ensure a solid ground, then builds up bit by bit, if she didn't understand a concept, he'd explain it in a different way until she understood. She now knows she's not 'bad' at maths, or any subject, and just needs to find a new way to understand. This stretched to her attitude with other GCSE's where she addressed each subject with the same positive mindset and did very well, all thanks to Rob. He's excellent and I can't recommend him highly enough. One bite at a time...

I was tutored successfully and thoroughly by Rob Carter who encouraged huge improvements in my maths ability and evidentially made me jump up two grade in my Maths GCSE without Rob as a tutor I would have not had the ability to pass my maths GCSE. so he really was the. biggest help and support. I thought this platform was highly useful and loved the ligament of being able to watch the videos in my own.

Rob’s support was invaluable to my daughter Tabby. He was such a great support and turned her around from believing that she could not do maths to having belief in her own abilities. He was always available online and also his method of teaching is simple and effective. Not only did he help her improve her GCSE grade by 2 grades above her GCSE prediction, she is now doing an A Level she never believed she could because of the maths element.
