Association of Master Tradesmen Anmeldelser

I had a great experience with Tony. Very quick to respond to emails, calls, etc. Im very happy with the work that was done and would happily use them again.

Really impressed with the Association. It is always nerve racking when trying to find a builder and spending a significant amount of money. From offering potential trusted builders to support throughout the building process they checked in. When the work was complete they also ensured we were happy with the standard of work that had been completed. Would definitely recommend using them to find a competent builder.

The staff at the Association were helpful and provided details of some excellent builders to undo/re-do/improve the shoddy work of another builder. We chose Gordon who was great. His team were thorough and good at their trades, and tried their best to fix problems as they were uncovered. All Building Control requirements were dealt with successfully, with only limited input from us. All in all, a very good experience.

The Association of Master Tradesmen sent us a list of Tradesmen who all when selected responded to our inquiry with a detailed description of the scope of work.
We hired one of the vetted companies to do a large renovation of our house in 2024 and we have been very satisfied with the quality and the service of the tradesmen.

Great service from the Association and the builder they introduced. Work done to time and budget.

We had an excellent experience with the Association of Master Tradesmen. They provided us with details of several suitable builders for a particularly challenging project, giving us a good selection of experienced tradespeople to consider.

We ultimately chose one of their recommended builders, who proved to be an excellent choice. The project presented a number of difficulties, but the work was completed to a very high standard and we were extremely pleased with the result.

Having access to recommended and reputable tradespeople gave us considerable confidence when choosing a builder. I would certainly use the Association of Master Tradesmen again and would happily recommend their service to others.

Jack and his team were friendly and personable. They worked hard. They are skilled at their trades and are proud of their work. They work well as a team.

Great service. Vince was honest, helpful and organized. Definitely recommend.

Gareth, Simon and Mick were amiable and courteous. They were able to dovetail another job in the area with ours which meant that they began work for us earlier which suited us. The work was carried out cleanly, effectively and in a timely manner, and stayed within the quoted budget. The finished project was excellent. I would happily recommend this company.

Within a few hours of contacting the Association of Master Tradesmen they phoned to discuss details of my project. From that I was sent the names of 3 companies to follow up on. Esme was very helpful in explaining about templates for contracts, timetables for staged payments etc. Our project starting date was pushed back by a few months but Esme kept in contact to check on our progress and to offer help if needed. All in all, it was a really straightforward way of getting a trusted and reliable tradesman.

We were not in the U.K. for the whole of the build, we were kept informed every step by phone, messages, emails and photographs and they even suggested improvements on our original plans. The owner of the company was our main builder and he co ordinated with all the various contractors needed for the build so all went very smoothly. We were so pleased with the quality and efficiency of his work we employed him for two additional projects, the loft and complete garden renovation.

Absolutely 1 of the best in builder recognition. Full vetted process so no cowboy members .excellent lead generation service and great communication from managers and clients alike ...if you're a trade or builder join up now.If you're a potential client forward you're project details for swift services

I contacted CBS Complete Building Services because they were listed with the Association of Master Tradesmen. My situation was complicated, because I am wheelchair bound disabled, with specific needs and concerns. Unlike 78% of the wheelchair bound community, who opt for moving rather than converting or extending, (recent nationwide University survey), we wanted to stay in the house we had lived in for 43years.
Phil West who came to see us, was very understanding, and promised his workmen would be happy to meet my needs, and vowed that my biggest concern, that of being able to get out of the house daily to my mobility scooter, would be met.
Sometimes with great effort, by the workmen, both promises were kept.
CBS tradesmen are second to none, high quality workmanship, friendly, understanding and always helpful.
CBS management leaves a lot to be desired.
From the moment we were forced to drop a part of our plans, before they had started work, and agreed to by CBS, we were treated as also rans. The promised on site manager, we had for a few weeks, but after he left the company, we never had another. One was always promised, but did not materialise.
We were lucky if two workmen arrived, more often it was one. They were excellent, but insufficient for the work needed. One of the bigger jobs, agreed to be done by CBS and acknowledged as urgent, was never even started, despite numerous promises. A couple of smaller jobs, added and agreed to, as time went on; a door put through, also an outdoor lift shaft, were never done. All of these were specific works so desperately needed, due to my disability, were never started and we are left having to look for another builder.
A one storey extension of three rooms, took, CBS, not the 4 months they originally stated for the initial entire project of a one storey extension, plus a two storey complete side of house extension, It has taken 8 months.
Despite our always paying every bill sent to us within 3 days, we are now left with damage to our property, and promised work not done.
Nearing the end of work on the extension, in addition to the unfinished jobs, we discovered damage done to the back of the hedge fronting our property. Due to the storing of excess supplies, skips, earth etc were left pushed up against it for many months, and the back of it has died, when both issues were raised, CBS management did not wish to contact us.
We sent many emails asking for a reply asap, and texts, hoping for a resolution, but were put off, or ignored on each occasion. Finally we received an email from Phil West arbitrarily stating that CBS were not responsible for the hedge. This, despite my having photographic evidence of before and after, and neighbours statements on its good condition prior to them starting work. However, as a gesture he would give us a £500 discount on our bill. The unstated jobs were brushed aside. As the extension could be viewed purely as a home improvement, the 3 works not done, were specifically and urgently needed for disability issues. I do not know if Phil West or CBS has a dislike or distaste for work relating to this, but would recommend that nobody with difficulties in this area go anywhere near CBS.
We are left with incomplete work, a dead/dying hedge, the fence to cover same costing well over £1,500, plus the expense for someone to erect it. CBS were asked to do it, gratis, but refused.
We wish we had moved.

Really quick response, took time to understand my requirements and to provide a list of potential contractors.

We were put in touch with several qualified contractors and went ahead with one of them, JA Construction and Carpentry. We had a full refurbishment of our Georgian house and are very happy with the result.

Turned up on time extremely helpful and advised when necessary of alternative options which were better than my original ideas and plans
Renovated a bathroom kitchen and utility room
Ripped out back to brick all areas and renovated, fitted new kitchen new shower room and new utility room
Tiled, painted , plumbed and put new floor covering down, hung blinds also
Clean & tidy I am a very happy customer
Would definitely have them back if I needed more work done

We were looking for a builder to build a brick front porch and render our house. The association of Master Tradesmen put us in touch with Terry Hollick who done the work, Overall we were very pleased with Terry and we are getting him back to do other work

We used the services of the Association of Master Tradesmen to find a builder to build a large double garage. We received excellent advice and a number of local builders to contact, They all responded and all submitted quotations. but from the start we were really impressed by Craig at CWN from Chelmsford and his very professional, detailed and clear quote. Therefore, we were pleased to offer him the contract after reaching a mutually agreed price and payment schedule. Craig and his team commenced a week later and the whole project was completed virtually on time. His workers were so helpful and pleasant as were all the sub contractors doing their utmost to keep the site tidy. Craig visited the site frequently and ensured the work was on schedule and meeting his high standards. We are so pleased with the completed project which blends in so well with the existing house. We highly recommend CWN as a professional and friendly family company who take a real pride in their work and produce projects to a very high standard.

I was very happy with the whole process. From identifying a builder through to the building being completed.
The team that came to my house, completed the build to the timescale indicated. The workmanship and tidiness was perfect.

we contacted master tradesmen and within 2 hours received a call from a building company we decided to work with.
We needed a total property renovation. Their work was nothing but professional, with modern idea's. A perfect match for our requirements. We instinctively knew we were in safe hands.
We had spent 4 months ourselves trying to find contractors who did not inspire us with confidence.
