one of the biggest scam factories on the internet and the lowest of human scum. And of course they're indian, who figures.
This so called 'company' should be raided and everyone working in it should be jailed.
Good thing that my hosting provider doesn't give a flying monkey's ass about any 'claims' of this criminal organization.

A company from India tries to blackmail other businesses with DMCA allegations, no reply to emails, no willingness to cooperate. Send a notification email and report to the hosting provider. When will this damn company collapse?

Professional harassers, extortionists, blackmailers. They keep sending copyright infringing notices and won't stop unless you pay them - because they obviously don't "work for Sony LLC".

Bad compagny, filed a false dmca takedown request to a site which doesn’t host any of content shown. Utterly ridiculous and this compagny should be taken down for filing these illegal requests

This company is a fake takedown company / spam company.

1. They're abusing the takedown requests. A single word on a youtube video comment section and they'll submit a strike / takedown request.

2. They spam everywhere with the goal to damage your business to get what they want.

3. They cannot provide any documentation when requested that they're authorized to do what they're doing on behalf of the company they claim they represent.

4. They will not provide answers to any questions you ask them.

I've dealt with other takedown request companies in the past and the majority of them handle the process professionally and work with you to get these issues resolved. This company on the other hand is abusive and you should avoid using them.

They recently text me with fake DMCA strick with a fake notice lol . Dnt trust them do your job they are scammers.

Indian company sending automated DMCA complaints. They do not respond to emails.

I've dealt with this company for years on more than one platform. They caused my YouTube channel's termination in April of 2020, as well as others that posted WWE-related content. I emailed them several times during that period, never got any responses from them.

Fast forward now to most recently, it's happening now to my Twitter account. They've issued 4 takedowns since December 8th, which I really have to question. 3 of the 4 are claimed to be on behalf of a local wrestling company that I've regularly attended events for (Pure Pro Wrestling), yet I've contacted the wrestling company's owner and he has no idea who this organization even is.

How can you claim that Pure Pro Wrestling is a client of yours if the owner doesn't even know who your company is? Something doesn't add up here.

The 3rd takedown on December 10th was aimed at a tweet from last year that included a video clip from WWE, which MarkScan claims was infringing on Pure Pro Wrestling's copyright. That clip that was claimed had nothing to do with Pure Pro Wrestling's intellectual property, it's owned by WWE.

I filed a counter-notice on that takedown the next day because it was a clear misidentification and it was approved 13 days later on Christmas Eve.

What happened an hour and a half later? I received another takedown notice by this company (once again claiming to be on PPW's behalf) for a photo that I shared of the empty ring before a recent show. The show hadn't happened yet and nothing was taking place, as the photo was posted at least 15 minutes before the pre-show even happened.

The photo was posted around 5:45 pm, while the pre-show happened after 6:00 pm on December 7, 2024. I've also filed an appeal on this takedown as well.

I've emailed this company 5 more times since this month's issues began, yet I haven't received any email responses.

2 of the last 5 emails gave me a strange revelation. I used my primary email address to contact them and requested both Delivery Receipts AND Read Receipts.

I got an immediate email from my email provider (Outlook) confirming that the emails were sent, but they can't confirm if the company either received the emails or even read them due to a setting on their side regarding their server.

How can anything be discussed or settled in any matter, let alone get anything figured out as to whether something sketchy is going on behind the scenes, if this company can't even respond to emails? How can they claim to work for a company whose owner doesn't know who they are? How do I know that someone isn't simply impersonating an employee from PPW and are using this company to target my social media account?

That could easily be figured out if the COO herself of MarkScan would reply to the emails I've sent them in regards to these questionable takedowns, yet that hasn't happened at all. I can't get this looked into if this company is silent.

I can't take this company as a legitimate organization when they do acts like this. I've had more success reaching out to companies that I've contacted about sketchy sponsorship opportunities through Twitter than I have with MarkScan.

This company keeps spamming fake DMCA reports to hosting providers without taking any responsibility for their claims, no communication with their counterparties either. Absolutely shameful and pathetic business.

Sending every month an fraudulent DMCA take-down request to my provider, who isn't even hosting that which they claim it to be (figures..). Thank god my provider checked and verified that MarkScan is indeed sending fraudulent DMCA's. Sadly, they have to handle DMCA's cause they have also American clients, so it's kind of cringe, but it is what it is.
MarkScan has been emailed about this, and told to stop their invalid DMCA requests, but they never respond, so in my opinion they have violated the DMCA requirements for communication. They should be blacklisted from sending ANY DMCA whatsoever, cause not communicating with people they argue they are infringing, is just showing they don't care about sending falsified requests for take-down, and could harm a lot of sites in the process for wrong reasons.

Fake copyright infringement reports. No communication whatsoever. Savage and irresponsible company.

This company misuses ISPs abuse form and makes autoamted requests to take websites and content offline, based on their automated half-baked software that is unable to properly identify content.

Also, their positive google maps reviews are obviously fake.
