Mariner Finance, LLC (“Mariner”) and/or WebBank, as applicable, (collectively “Lender,” “we,” or “us,” as applicable) offers personal loans from $1,000 to $25,000, with minimum and maximum amounts dependent on the underwriting of the loan and subject to applicant’s satisfaction of eligibility requirements and approval by Lender, and an applicant’s state of residence for Mariner-originated loans. Terms and conditions apply.
†Online loans between $1,500 and $14,000, originated by WebBank, except online loans in CA and MD originated by Mariner Finance, LLC. Loans greater than $14,000 or less than $1,500 may be originated by Mariner through Mariner’s branch network. For GA residents, online and in-branch loan amounts only available for greater than $3,000 Any stated APR represents the cost of credit as an estimated yearly rate, and each applicant’s specific interest rates and fees are determined as permitted under federal or state law (as applicable) based upon loan amount, term, the applicant’s ability to meet specific credit criteria including, but not limited to, credit history at the time of application, income, debt payment obligations, and other factors such as availability of collateral, and state of residency for Mariner-originated loans. Not all applicants will qualify for the lowest rates or larger loan amounts, which may require a first lien on a motor vehicle not more than ten years old titled in the applicant’s name with valid insurance. Any loan by phone and/or online closing process requires a compatible mobile or computer device on which you can access your email and electronic documents. Not all loan types are eligible for loan by phone or online loan closing. APR ranges from 15.99% to 35.99%. Loan terms range from 12 to 72 months. As an example, with an amount financed of $5,000.00 the borrower receives $5,000.00 at an APR of 30.99% and an interest rate of 27.98%, which includes a finance charge of $3,779.68. Under these terms, the borrower would make 48 monthly payments of $182.91, for a total of payments of $8,779.68. The amount financed may not be the net proceeds paid if charges other than interest are included in the loan.
*The process uses a “soft” credit inquiry to determine whether a loan offer is available, which does not impact your credit score. If you continue with the application process online and accept a loan offer, or are referred to a branch and continue your application there, we will pull your credit report and credit score again using a “hard” credit inquiry. This “hard” credit inquiry may impact your credit score.
**Mariner Finance’s 15-Day Satisfaction Guarantee provides that if, for any reason, you inform us that you are dissatisfied with your loan and you repay it in full within 15 days of the date of the loan in the form of certified funds, all finance charges will be waived with no penalties. A cancellation of your Mariner Finance loan will not impact, affect, and/or cancel the terms of any purchase of a vehicle or other item(s) with the proceeds of your loan. Additionally, your return to the dealer or seller of any vehicle or other item(s) purchased with your loan proceeds will not constitute a cancellation of your Mariner Finance loan.

Awful company. They crucify you with predatory interest rates and refuse to settle for a lesser amount if you lose your job. Satans Business so Stay Away!!!! The will sue you until you are homeless and drain you of all your blood to sell it to repay the debt. Soulless awful business.

This Company has Horrible Service. DON'T TAKE A LOAN OUT? YOU WILL REGRET IT IN THE END. Responses with James Brown in the Sapulpa, Oklahoma Area was Horrible to work with. The Prepaid Checks sent out did not Disclose a 4 year pay OFF! Early Pay Off had Pre K. Agents who could Not Accept Payments. It took 40 minutes to Close this Loan. LOOK ELSEWHERE IN GETTING A LOAN.

Mariner Finance sent me a check that I didn't request. The check was for $ 1,200.00, if you cashed the check there was a $500.40 fee added on to the loan amount that now is a $1,700.40 loan with a 35.98% annual interest rate, What a rip off.

The application process and receiving the loan wasn't a problem at all. The problem is with the horrendous customer service that you receive when you try to make your payments. This company switched off automatic payments and allowed my account to accrue late fees and ultimately a lowered credit score. Requests to take payments were not fulfilled. The attitude from the San Antonio office manager was atrocious. She spoke to me as if she was the star of a Jerry Springer episode. Need I say more.
DESPITE DISCUSSING THESE ISSUES AT LENGTH ON THE PHONE, THE REPLY BELOW STATES THEY KNOW NOTHING OF IT ALL....... Oh boy!

watch out for the products
The customer service was very nice, I didn't mind the higher than normal interest rate because you can pay it off earlier to reduce that. I didn'like the add on products that are financed just like the loan , for example 2000 products equal an additional 4000 or more if you don't pay the loan off earlier. As I was closing the loan, the products were slid in as part of the conversation, and when I said I didn't want them , I could feel the tone in the room change, the payments did drop by 40 dollars a month as well. Although I caught it, I felt like the way it was stated was done deceptively, and there are probably plenty of people paying for products they don't need because they have other insurance that will cover their debt if an issue was to arise. Watch out for the products they are financed in your loan too.

I had surgery and was out of work over a year and my wife and I lived off our credit cards for a bit. We went to Mariner Finance in Asheboro and was approved for a loan,We paid it off early and then applied again and the same thing we paid it off early and then we asked for a bigger loan and was approved in minutes. We paid that off early as well got rid of our credit card debt and all that was done because of Mariner Finance. When either my wife or I walk my man Wyatt knows my wife and I by name. They are direct and explain everything so there is no gray area. We are very happy with them. Stopped by on Friday to just ask about a loan to expand our deck and they said they could do it and we would get a lower interest rate because of our history. Really good and upfront people at the Asheboro office. We are very satisfied.

Mariner Finance insists on INCORRECTLY…
Mariner Finance insists on INCORRECTLY reporting my loan to credit bureaus as “currently in collections”.
I fell on hard times last summer after being unemployed for 14 months. I ended missing 3 payments. Mariner sued and we agreed to settle with bringing the loan current, which I did. We never went before a judge. As a matter of fact, Mariner had the suit dismissed. Every payment has been on time since.
Now I’m learning nearly a year later that Mariner is reporting the loan to credit bureaus as CURRENTLY IN COLLECTIONS and has been reporting EVERY payment since July 2025 as “collection “. Calling the Glen Allen, VA office was a waste of time . The agent acted superior and arrogant, constantly interrupted and talked over me, essentially telling me “this is how we do it”. Keep in mind that EVERY payment since the loan opened October 2023 until April 2025 was on time, including for over a year while unemployed. Stay away. A perfect history means nothing to Mariner if you stumble. Miss a couple payments a they will ruin your reputation.
Did I mention I was rejected for financing a house because of this?
