Marcus was exceptional! And I never use that word! He's a genuine guy and a great person to do business with as he got back to me quickly, gave me a really good price for my bike, and was friendly. I would highly recommend!

I really didn’t want to deal with ebay to sell my Bromptons so when I heard about Marcus I was glad to talk to him and do it this way: the whole thing was super convenient and he was up front with the price. I’d be happy to buy from him and sell to him again in the future.

We had been looking for a while for a Brompton and a google link recommended Marcus Bikes. We had a good look at the bikes online and I then rang him and he was so helpful. The whole process was flawless and Marcus is very knowledge about Brompton Bikes and I felt confident in paying a deposit to a trustworthy person. As Marcus was planning a trip over Christmas not far from where we lived we arranged to meet him for collection. We were absolutely blown away at the exceptional condition of the bike it looked brand new. It is sadly unusual to find a completely honest trustworthy trader these days but we recommend buying from Marcus Bikes as you won't be disappointed at all.

Marcus was incredibly helpful and we bought a lovely bike for daughter’s impending triathlon. A rare five star review from me. He was excellent.

As Always, Marcus was great: this is the second time I buy a used (but in pristine condition) bike at a very interesting price. The first one was a road bike that I still have and love. This time I was looking for a Brompton with a S-Type handlebar to swap with the H-type I had, which wasn't good for me. Dealing with Marcus was easy, quick, straightforward and I felt safe and happy. He is very honest and facilitates the whole process. I went to his workshop / shop in South London, tried out the bike I was interested in, and after ten minutes I was heading home, very happy about my purchase. Particularly with Bromptons, it is full of scams out there and/or awful requests for very worn-out used bikes. With Marcus you pay a very reasonable price, are safe, and get a like-new superbike. Highly recommended!

I have been looking for an H bar Brompton C line for some time now. I missed quite a few on EBay and found the bidding process tiresome. With Marcus you get a reasonable price, a bike that’s in tip top condition and the model you want. He guided me to a brand new, never ridden H6L for an extra £100 over a used one, which I am now the proud owner of. Marcus is in South London and I live in Cumbria, but his Courier delivered in 3 days. I can’t thank him enough for his help and previous advice.

Great experience and communication, the money was in the bank before I left the bike shop

Great experience buying an Specialized Allez from Marcus. Bike was in perfect conditions, exactly how displayed in his website/social media. Great guy and business - would recommend to anyone

Excellent and friendly service

Very smooth process, Marcus knows his stuff about bikes, very fair price. Will definitely use this company again.

Marcus was brilliant! Super knowledgeable. I bought two gravel bikes and am very happy with both of them.

I had Marcus do a build for me with various new/second hand-parts. Wasn’t straight forward but he did a phenomenal job. Kept me in coms through the whole process and offered helpful advice. Can’t recommend him enough - top bloke!

Marcus show us patiently and in great detail how the bikes worked. Even though the bikes were used, they were in perfect order, clean, and well services and even came with a warranty. Highly recommended store.

Bought a P-Line, ultimately happy with the purchase. The bicycle was all in the best condition as it possibly can be. Had a good look and short test ride, 10 minutes later I was already on it cycling home. A very pleasant experience dealing with the seller

Great service. Bought a used road bike from Marcus, and was impressed with his attention to detail and service. He helped me to source the carbon wheels cheaper and install them and the bike was ready to be ridden. Marcus is 10/10!

Great communication and customer support.

Marcus has not only repaired a bike for me but recently sold on my behalf a much loved ladies road bike. I had been reluctant to sell but was no longer riding it with my cycling time spent on my mountain bike. Marcus was reassuring, personable and the whole process effortless. I was paid extremely promptly. He is sincere and I felt in good hands. Marcus has a quick sale turnaround and the bike sold only a few days after he took hold of it to a happy new lady owner. Any buyer of his quality used bikes can be reassured they leave him in excellent condition and also mechanically. He is a refreshing asset to London’s increasing bike enthusiasts & cycling community & culture with his own passion and the independent service he provides. Highly recommend.

I recently sold my Brompton bike to Marcus Bikes.
Marcus was professional, knowledgeable and saved me a lot of hassle trying to find a buyer for my bike individually.
I highly recommend him for sales. He is so visibly passionate about bikes that I am sure he and his team would do an excellent repair job, too.

Marcus is awesome! He helped find me the perfect bike really easily, met me the same day, talked me through everything and let me give it a test ride.

It was exactly what I'm looking for from a bike seller. Super trustworthy, super knowledgable, and just a genuinely good guy.

Amazing experience buying a bike from Marcus as someone with 0 knowledge on bikes. Very happy with my purchase and was able to get loads of advise and guidance during the testing process.
