Had the most amazing experience in the Maldives during a 8 day liveaboard trip. Learned so much from Fiona about not only manta’s but also other marine life, her passion and enthusiasm was contagious and inspiring!💙

i did not book the livaboard through manta trust and i never knew about the organisation before. It has been a nice surprise and i will keep myself informed on its activities from now on.
I really enjoyed the guidance and information provided during the dives as well as during the regular lectures held aboard; these were always accurate, comprehensive and exposed in a very appealing fashion, very suitable for the relaxed atmosphere of the cruise. I joined their 500 mile Manta expedition in the Maldives in March 2026. It was a fantastic trip. Well organized, great people, great food, and amazing dives. Best holiday I ever had. I'm already looking at the next destination with them.

It has been an unforgettable twelve-day experience in Raja Ampat. The crew were fantastic, very friendly and attentive; the boat was beautiful and the diving organisation was perfect. The dive sites were marvellous, the corals, the biodiversity… In short, we had a wonderful time and, although we didn’t see many manta rays – the ocean has the final say – we learnt a lot about manta rays and other marine creatures from Niv and Calvin’s daily presentations. Both of them looked after everyone at all times. Thank you!!!

I recently had the incredible fortune of spending two weeks with Manta Expeditions in Indonesia – a breathtaking journey on a ship. From the very first moment, the organization was absolutely professional. The crew on board was incredibly friendly, always helpful, and took care of many detail. I was especially impressed by the daily presentations about the underwater world – I learned so much about the fascinating mantas, colorful corals, and all the small creatures. In addition, we also had wonderful land excursions, which were equally beautiful and enriching. While we didn't see as many mantas as we had hoped, that is, of course, just nature at work. The dives were simply stunning – I always felt safe and at the same time incredibly inspired. This trip was not just a vacation; it was a true adventure that I can wholeheartedly recommend to everyone. Thank you Niv!

Aldo was an excellent guide and enthusiastic presenter, I learned much about mantas and want to come back with my daughters, I hope to have Aldo on our next trip. Mantas Trust is doing great work and I will be signing up to see how I can help

The Manta trust worked with us to plan our expedition and fulfil our collective dreams of the ultimate Manta diving experience, both in and out of the water the experts were friendly , helpful and knowledgeable and provided our group with a fascinating insight into the very important work of Manta preservation and the work they do up skilling and teaching the local children to ensure the future of these majestic creatures, I can’t recommend them enough, We were all blown away, we had a group of very experienced divers who have travelled far and wide and many felt this was their best diving experience .

Absolutely fantastic trip! Everything was superb. The boat crew and dive guides were fabulous, the food great, but best of all were the Manta experiences. We had some truly awe inspiring encounters, made even more special by learning more about mantas. Frankie and Sophie, our Manta Expeditions experts, brought the whole thing alive with their infectious enthusiasm and superb, informative presentations. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Frankie and Sophie are two of the nicest caring and knowledgeable people you would ever wish to have as your guides on an expedition. This week we saw over 100 manta ! Some feeding, a mating chain, on one dive we were "in the blue" surrounded by them, it was like being inside a manta vortex. This has been an incredible experience.

The crew, the expedition leaders, the boat and ofcourse all the mantas we encountered! It just was an amazing trip with lots of things to learn from both marine biologists on board

The combination of diving and scientific presentations to learn more about the oceans was fantastic. Summer did a perfect job of educating us about the underwater world and especially mantas.

This liveaboard trip was truly unforgettable! A special thanks to Summer for the engaging lectures on manta rays and marine ecology onboard, which filled every dive with knowledge and wonder. Also, big thanks to the Ecopro team for taking us to multiple manta ray cleaning stations, where we witnessed the graceful dance of these gentle giants up close. The ten-day itinerary was both rich and fulfilling—from sunrise dives to night adventures, from coral gardens to shark points, every moment was immersed in the awe and serenity of the blue world. Can’t wait to set sail again and continue exploring the mysteries of the deep blue!

It was really nice to have a manta expert on board with us during our trip that answered all of our questions. We had presentations every evening which all fit the things we saw on the dives during that day. Over all it was an amazing experience.

This was my second trip with Manta Expeditions. Nothing can compare to having a marine biologist researcher on the liveaboard - it makes the diving so much more meaningful and enlightening! We had absolutely mind blowing encounters with cyclone feeding, mantas mating, scuba with multiple whale sharks, and up-close (suuuppper close) snorkeling with the mantas in Hanufaru Bay.

Whether you are a fan of manta rays, whale sharks, tiger sharks, or other large marine life, a week on LIVEABOARD is an unforgettable experience as you encounter a variety of marine life and hear from experts who have in-depth knowledge of the ecology.
I recommend this program to everyone who loves the sea and is interested in marine life.

It was a great experience, learning about the behaviour of Mantas in their marine environment. The team was very knowledgable and the diving experience was very unique. Truly a absolute recommendation.

Un bateau super équipé, climatisé, avec un équipage exceptionnel. Une cuisine raffinée Italo-maldivienne. Des sites de plongées et de snorckeling merveilleux avec des guides très compétents. Une expérience unique où nous avons vu des raies mantas en veux-tu en voilà. Avec un biologiste qui a su nous captiver par des exposés très intéressants.
C'est l'excellence, vraiment génial !
