A scam. Sent laptop in got assessed quickly but now it’s been 2 weeks and no payment. Do not fall for it! Order: 07-01-24-49076

Only after leaving the review did they finally contact me. Poor business practices. Did end up paying but in the future will avoid this company.

Was told by Apple that they could not offer any values for my Mac. Sold my faulty MacBook Air 2019 to these guys, with decent cracked screen offer. Shipping is easy, and opted for PayID option, payment pretty much happened between the promised timeframe.

Do not trade in or send them your computer/phone, they will not pay. Took over 6 months to get a single reply from their customer service team, only to say they wanted to send it back.

Steer Clear of ManMade Cycle. This mob promises an 8 hour turnaround when they purchase a device of us. They received mine on 4 Jun (Aust Post and ManMade Cycle's website confirm this) but nothing updated or heard from them since. It is now close of business on 11 Jun. I have emailed them, left 3 voicemails, messaged them on Facebook, and still had no contact from them at all. Judging by others who have sold to them this is a very common outcome. It appears they are great at selling devices (where we pay them), but awful when it comes to buying devices (where they are supposed to pay us). Look at the 1 and two point reviews, same complaint but no improvement in their service. I'd love to talk to them, but it goes through to voice mail every time. My advice... Steer Clear of ManMade Cycle.

The online system is great and the postage paid envelope was sent expeditiously. However, my item was received on the 21st of March with an 8 business hour turnaround. I followed up on the 2nd of April, no reply from the business and still no money even though I have sent my item to this business. Followed up again today the 3rd of May - we will wait and see if this business replies after a 1 star review on Google. 43 days vs 8 business hour turnaround time on processing/payment... big difference, borderline fraudulent behaviour.

The business finally replied with an offer of 50% of the agreed value online because of no Apple Watch band as an accessory.. not noted online in their offer). Terrible business, do not use their services.

The computer is great but they were very slow in getting back to me when I had a few questions about set up.
I will still recommend them.

My order took weeks with zero feedback despite repeated requests to process payment.

We visited the shop to buy our daughter a refurbished mac for school. Great service and advice about what to get and good value. Everything is working great so far on the machine. Very happy.

I knew I was buying secondhand so I was expecting Excellent Condition to be excellent by secondhand standards - so I was pleasantly surprised to receive an as New computer. I was expecting the MBP to come in a generic box, with the charger packed separately. Instead everything came in its original Apple Box, all packed correctly; and even the box was in Excellent Condition!
I also experienced excellent support from my initial inquiry to ManMade Cycle. When I visited the ManMade Cycle website the MBP I was interested in, the heading indicated a specific RAM and SDD size, both larger than the base model but when I drilled down the page and got the the Details and Specifications it listed the Base model specification. Also, the 'Whats in the Box' listed the lower wattage power brick, not the higher one required for the up spec model. So I rang ManMade Cycle and the phone was immediately answered by a human being. He was quickly able to confirm that the up spec model was available and the it would come with the appropriate power supply. (The problem is a common one you see where a 3rd party will simply scrape the web page of the original manufacture for the Details and Specs but this only really works for the Base models).
So having confirmed what I wanted was available, having been impressed that their listed Customer Support line didn't have an answer machine but a human at the end I went ahead and purchased the MBP.
Dispatch occurred within their advertised time frame, delivery occurred within their advertised time frame, and it was via AusPost so I was easily able to track it.
As I stated at the beginning, to get and Apple boxed, in Brand New Condition MBP at a very competitive second hand price was an absolute bonus and the smile on my face has only got bigger as I'm now enjoying a significant performance improvement over the very old MBP it replaced.
Oh, and it came with a 1 year warranty!
If I am ever looking for another second hand Mac I will definitely be back to check out what ManMade Cycle has on offer.

Easy to deal with and the product works as advertised.

Expect a much longer wait for your money than they advertise.
Also, expect them to find something in order to send you a "revised offer" this happened to me even though the unit was returned as packed in it's original box that they claim was missing on arrival.
Then they send you more paperwork to complete which could have easily been requested at the beginning.
Smells like delaying tactics trying to sell the unit before they have paid the supplier. I have not experienced this level of mucking about with other companies of similar nature. All in all an experience in waiting for contact which only comes after further prodding. I would hesitate to recommend or use this service in future.

Impressed with the concept of purchasing damaged Macs preventing them from becoming e-waste. If you’re looking for an effortless method to dispose of your old gadgets, I’d definitely suggest this service to my friends 😁

Terrible. Sold my laptop and 2 months after receiving it they still have not paid the proceeds. I have followed up numerous times via email and either get a response that they will look into it or no response at all.
