What a lovely jewellers in Southend. I bought a beautiful ring. Dave the assistant was so very helpful. I had to have it made smaller and it was delivered very quickly by special delivery.

Excellent Service and the watch I brought was immaculate. I can truly recommend Mallard Jewellers and will definitely use them in future.

I recommend this jewellers . I went into the Southend shop today having seen a lovely antique diamond ring in the window. I was served by a young lady called Chloe , it was her first day working in the shop. She was an absolute delight as was the manager who I chatted with during & after I purchased the ring. It’s not my first purchase from this shop but just thought I would leave a review as I’ve been happy with all the items I have bought and the staff have always been a pleasure to deal with. I was excited to hear they also have other branches with different stock. I shall definitely give those a visit in the near future.

I love mallards, I have been shopping there for over 20 years, they only sell quality items of jewellery, anytime i am looking to invest in something gold I go to mallards.
Also wanted to say it is nice to see that they have updated their website and offer customers to pay in instalments,
instead of fronting up the whole price in one

Didn’t feel that the staff we overly helpful/friendly bearing in mind the cost of my watch purchase, (same watch in Nottingham branch £100 cheaper) Also one member broke the watch box outer front flap which my wife saw, I didn’t but repaired it when I got home, as such didn’t trust them to shorten the bracelet so did it myself

Having been quoted by a different jewellers £800 for an eternity ring repair, it came as an absolute relief to hear that Mallard could do the necessary repair for a fraction of that cost. They exceeded my expectations on how long it might take, and the ring came back looking superb. Marlene and her team in the Nottingham branch looked after me perfectly. I cannot fault their customer service, and also the fantastic job the repairers have done, and at such a reasonable price. Thank you. This ring is now fixed and ready in time to give back to my daughter for her 21st Birthday.

I had a fantastic experience at this jeweler! I brought in a delicate chain that I had bought my boyfriend and it had broken the first time worn and I was absolutely gutted but the 2 ladies behind the counter reassured me and fixed it quickly and expertly. You can't even tell where the break was! The service was friendly and professional and I will certainly be using them again and again. I highly recommend them for any jewelry repairs!! 🥰

I visited mallards today at basildon for the first time and took in some gold bits and bobs ..I was met by brilliant staff who made me feel very comftable ..
Tina was absolutely wonderful and explained all the way through my sale , she then even rang me when I got home to make sure I had recieved my funds ..would totally recommend this place 👌

I had pawned my rings in Leicester branch of Mallard happened to pay them by my card I requested on collection in afew days which the lady agreed on phone. I called them that I was going to come and collect my item the lady was saying they will close by 4.30pm and that call was made by 2.30pm so she was insisting to know what time will I reach but I never gave her time and straight off reached the shop they gave my rings but since I had another issue with the chain I previously bought which snapped 3rd day and they had no resolution to which I asked them do you never want me to come back ever to your shop?
It was a silver chain buying from same shop and take back price she quoted was 5 pounds for a 24 inch silver chain shame I never expected this one from Mallard.
I took my jewellery just took out one ring and wore rest I just kept in my purse on reading home I saw 2 diamonds were missing from my sapphire diamonds ring and I got so upset about it I have left a contract message for them to reply ASAP. I want my 2 diamonds back in my ring as I trusted Mallard whilst pawning. I want Mallard to resolve this issue as well as my silver chain issue.if they don't resolve I will escalate the issue further.

couldn't recommend Mallard Jewellers enough for jewellery repairs!! i recently had a ring mended and had an emerald replaced in another. all staff i spoke to in the shop and over the phone we're friendly, professional and welcoming. the jewellery repairs came back perfectly and were very very reasonably priced, i was expecting to spend about double the price. will definitely be using Mallards again - thank you ☺️

Went into the Nottingham store to find an engagement ring without really knowing what I wanted. The service help and guidance from Gabrielle and Maz was absolutely amazing. The knowledge and support from both ladies made our experience perfect. Being made to feel comfortable with budget, understanding what we wanted without being made to feel pressured or judged, then providing beautiful options was perfect. I'd gone from searching and not finding anything, to having a choice of 3, I absolutely loved. Buying from this jewellers showed me you get a personalised experience you don't get from the big named stores. It's not about the dazzle and lights, it's about the jewellery and what you want. These ladies were just brilliant with someone who was so out of their depth, being patient and understanding. We will definitely be going back for wedding rings. Thank you so much to both of you, I love my ring!

I purchased a pre-owned watch from this company which had a few minor scratches, I have got to say this was without exception the best customer service I have ever encountered, they took the watch back had it polished and added a new manufactured strap free of charge, then had it re-delivered but importantly they kept me informed at every stage. I would highly recommend using this company and would like to say thank you to Mallards particularly, Andrea and Sarah you have been a pleasure dealing with.
