We think booking ski and snowboard lessons should be easy, so we created an online marketplace for trusted, fully qualified ski and snowboard instructors, that can be booked in just a few clicks.
All instructors listed on Maison Sport have been verified by their nation's governing body, be it the French Government's Department of Sport, Swiss Ski Federation or the Italian Winter Sports Federation, so you can rest assured you will be in safe hands when you’re on the slopes.
The importance of having the right instructor shouldn’t be underestimated, so we have ensured that you can learn more about each instructor, check their reviews and send them a message prior to booking and paying for any lessons.

Francesco is very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He knows when you are ready to take the next step and helps you to continue practicing when you haven't quite got the technique. He is very kind and considerate and keeps you uplifted when you have done something wrong. He is a fantastic teacher and I would definitely recommend him for people of all ages. Thank you Francesco!

Mastering the moguls
My daughter and I had a half a day booked with Zeno. We are both intermediate skiers and wanted to improve our technique. Not only we both feel a lot more confident on the slopes, we also learnt how to ski over moguls. We are very pleased with how effective the lesson has been. We would book Zeno again!

Super practical services booking a snowboard instructor
Booking with Maison Sport was very easy however finding your services on the internet on Google search was not that easy. I was surprised because your services are incredibly useful especially as I needed private lessons at snowboarding on very short notice and you were the only service that managed to find an instructor available. Charlie was brilliant- our 15yr old sons had a 3hr session and they loved it. So friendly and the boys couldn’t stop talking about how great he was and how much tips they learned.

Val Thorens Ski Instructor Benoit
Benoit is a fantastic and patient instructor which helped with my son’s daily ski lessons. Conditions were challenging with heavy snow fall but progression was made from snow plow into parallel skiing, both my son and I are delighted. I would highly recommend Benoit as an excellent and patient ski instructor.

Paid for Advanced Lesson, Got the Bunny Slope
Booked an intermediate/advanced lesson from 1–5pm in Chamonix. All intermediate and advanced terrain at Le Brévent was closed all day due to avalanche risk ( no red or black lanes) except for 2–3 blue runs which also closed at 3pm, leaving only beginner slopes open.
Despite half the lesson time becoming unsuitable for the booked level, the ski school refused a partial refund, arguing the resort was still “technically open.” An advanced lesson on beginner terrain is not the service that was paid for.
Very disappointing customer service. Do not book. Book from reputable companies at least you will get some credits for next year.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
I’m very sorry that your experience in Chamonix did not meet your expectations. During the dates of your lesson, weather conditions across the resort were exceptionally challenging, which led to lift and terrain closures. These safety decisions are made by the lift company and local authorities and unfortunately are outside of our and the instructors control.
If the instructor is unable to provide a lesson, due to conditions, they're ill, injured etc, then they are required to offer a full refund. If the resort remains open and the instructor is able to deliver the lesson, but their customer chooses not to attend, we are unfortunately unable to offer a direct refund, as instructors are still paid for their scheduled hours. In such cases, we can provide an insurance letter if required.
Whilst we appreciate a number of pistes and lifts were closed during your lesson, there were suitable options for the instructor to still run a lesson for you, but you chose not to attend - due to this, the instructor did not agree to offer a refund for the lessons. This policy is designed to ensure instructors do not lose work while the resort is operational, though I appreciate that the outcome is not always ideal.
We are sorry again that the mountain conditions impacted your experience and understand your disappointment. We appreciate you sharing your perspective.

Luck was on our side
Wow, luck was certainly on our side when we booked through Maison Sport. All private lessons in the resort were booked (at times that would be acceptable to my family😉). My search for something ended up at Maison Sport where I booked Tommy. A fantastic instructor and just an all round nice guy who was an absolute pleasure to spend time with. He is professional, friendly, enthusiastic, attentive, and positive. He pushed us, pointed out our bad habits, and provided techniques and exercises to improve but always kept it fun and positive whilst providing encouragement and positive feedback. I'll be using Maison Sport again, hopefully to book Tommy again next year.

Anja is an amazing instructor she took…
Anja is an amazing instructor she took us off in mixed groups over the course of a day . My friend and I were good experienced skiers but she took us to a whole new level of control, skiing easier and faster . My wife gained so much confidence as was easily coming down reds and started only nervously doing blues . The children benefit greatly with my son able to ski the yeti black run and 12 years old with ease . Thanks you Anja ! We would thoroughly recommend her and will be using Anja again for lessons .
