A Cautionary Tale: Before Paying Maidvy, Read This

Trusting the assurances given by Maidvy, a Bangalore-based maid placement agency CALLING themselves "Trusted agency", I booked their service and paid a substantial fee of INR 23600.

Before making the payment, I expressed concerns on negative reviews online. I was reassured that suitable candidates were available and that the selected maid would be deployed promptly. Most importantly, I received a written email stating that if the selected maid was not deployed on the committed date (4 July 2026), my payment would be refunded within seven days.

The maid was never deployed.

Instead of honouring their written commitment, the conversation immediately shifted to accepting another candidate. The replacement candidates did not match the requirements that had been discussed from the very beginning, yet I was repeatedly encouraged to "adjust" and proceed with them. The lady Meenu started misbehaving.

When I finally requested the refund that had been promised in writing, the response changed entirely. I was informed that no refund would be processed because they were "continuing to provide service" by sharing more profiles—even though the original deployment commitment had not been fulfilled.

The contrast between the pre-payment and post-payment experience was deeply disappointing. Before payment, communication was prompt, reassuring and confident. After payment, commitments became flexible, timelines changed, and the written refund assurance was no longer acknowledged.

I understand that finding the right domestic worker is not always easy and neither they cannot control every candidate. What they can control is their integrity. If a company makes a written commitment to secure a customer's trust, that commitment should be honoured.

This post is not written out of anger it is written out of disappointment and as a warning to other families and individuals who may be placing their trust, time and savings in agencies based solely on promises.

To Maidvy, I still hope you will do the right thing. Please honour the refund commitment that your own team communicated in writing. Trust is built not when everything goes perfectly, but when a company stands by its word when things do not.

For everyone else considering a placement agency, my advice is simple:

Read reviews carefully. Stay away from Maidvy they are running a scam.

Do not fall for their coaxing.

I genuinely hope no other family has to go through an experience like ours while already dealing with personal and financial loss.

Timeline of Events
30 June 2026
Contacted Maidvy for a 24-hour live-in all-rounder maid.
Expressed concerns after reading poor online reviews.
Was reassured by the sales team that:
suitable candidates were available,
deployment would happen quickly,
the company would support the process.
Before Payment
A candidate (Sabita Boro Rongpi) was shortlisted.
Maidvy sent a written email confirming:
deployment on 4 July 2026
"If the maid is not deployed on the scheduled date, your payment will be refunded within 7 days."

This written assurance was a significant factor in my decision to proceed with the payment.

4 July 2026
The maid never reported for duty.
Maidvy later informed me that she had "backed out."
Same Day
Instead of honouring the refund commitment, Maidvy immediately asked me to accept another candidate.
The replacement candidate did not satisfy the requirements that had been communicated before booking.
Following Days
Additional candidates were suggested.
I was repeatedly encouraged to "adjust" my expectations despite my original requirements remaining unchanged.
Refund Request
I requested a refund based on Maidvy's written assurance.
Response Received

Maidvy's Meenu from allocation team refused the refund, stating:

Refund is not applicable because we are continuing to provide service.

This position directly contradicted the earlier written commitment.

Absolutely the worst maid agency I have…

Absolutely the worst maid agency I have ever dealt with. Their business model seems to be focused on collecting full payment first and then abandoning the customer. They send a maid for a few months and, once they have secured their money, conveniently call the maid back, leaving families stranded and forced to start the entire process again.
The real nightmare begins when you ask for a replacement. Instead of providing the service they promised, they come up with endless excuses, delays, and false assurances. Every conversation feels like a tactic to wear you down until you finally give up. They keep making promises that are never fulfilled and continuously shift responsibility without offering any real solution.
What makes it even worse is that once you become frustrated after weeks or months of being ignored, they use your reaction as an excuse to deny further service or refuse a refund. It feels like a deliberate strategy to avoid honoring their commitments.
Their customer service is unprofessional, their after-sales support is practically nonexistent, and their concern for customers ends the moment payment is received. I deeply regret choosing this agency and would strongly caution anyone considering their services. Save yourself the stress, wasted money, and endless frustration by looking elsewhere.

Pure fraud group, there is no company registered on this name..just a app and website to catch custome for money..there are few tellecaller who will take money from you

Be aware..from this type of group and please always go with the company who has physical existence/office in your city

Maidvy is a fraud company

Worst and most mentally exhausting service experience I have had.

They charged us Rs 23,600 for a nanny requirement for our 4-month-old baby and promised professional service, contract, 4 replacements, police verification, proper documentation, and support. After payment, everything changed.

Yes, a nanny was eventually deployed after 14 days and we got lucky because our maid freshly approached Maidvy in a desperate need for job and was not part of their fraud profiles that they otherwise keep rotating/interviewing between all customers to get the full money.

•⁠ ⁠They didn't give any written contract or tax invoice after charging Rs 3600 in GST (Rs 20,000 + 18% GST) even after multiple follow ups, and even put my services on hold just for asking for these documents.
•⁠ ⁠Zero transparency about the company itself.

The most shocking part was the behaviour after I posted a review. Instead of resolving my concerns, I was pressured to take the review down. They clearly threatened that they would never service me again and even contacted our current maid offering a higher salary for another job, in an attempt to destabilise and traumatise us.

For a service involving childcare, this kind of behaviour is unacceptable.

I have already filed formal complaints against Maidvy and will pursue every possible avenue to seek a refund and hold them accountable so no other parent has to go through such a stressful and disappointing experience.

I genuinely regret trusting them. If you are reading this before making payment, please stay away from Maidvy.

They have cheated me

They have cheated me, took my money and didn't provide me with the service, violated their contract. They are a fraudulent agency and I am filing and FIR against them. When I asked for a refund because they did not provide the service to em they refused. They don't pick up my calls because I am asking them to refund my money. Very disappointing.

DO NOT PAY THEM

My experience with Maidvy has been extremely concerning and disappointing. After paying ₹14,160 upfront, I encountered a complete lack of transparency, accountability, and professionalism.

There is no clear information available about the legal entity operating this service — no GST details, no company registration, and no verifiable ownership, despite actively collecting payments. This raises serious questions about how the business is structured and managed.

Interactions with team members including Khushi, Priyanka, Meenu, and Rishita were frustrating, with inconsistent communication and no meaningful resolution to issues raised.

The most alarming part is the “no refund under any circumstances” policy, which appears heavily one-sided and not aligned with basic consumer protection principles.

Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others to exercise extreme due diligence before engaging with this service or making any advance payments.

I was defrauded by the website maidvy.com under the pretext of booking domestic maid services. After initial contact with an executive named Priyanka, I was induced to pay for a 6-month service contract via the Cashmere payment platform.

Post-payment, the suspects:
Failed to provide any service or valid staff identification.
Continually demanded additional payments under various pretexts.
Refused to provide a refund or fulfill the contract.

Be Careful Before Paying Advance – Not Recommended, No Delivery After Payment

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional service from Maidvy. After taking advance payment, they stopped responding properly and I had to continuously chase them for updates. They initially promised to share 3–4 profiles, but after repeated follow-ups, only one profile was shared — and that too did not match our requirements at all.

They committed deployment within 2–7 days, but that never happened. None of their promises were fulfilled. On top of that, their executive behaved very rudely and casually told me to take my money back if I was not satisfied. However, despite that statement, my refund has not been processed and there has been zero response from their side.

This company makes false commitments and does not value customers. Extremely poor experience. I strongly warn others to stay away.
