Don't Waste Your Money Like I Did
If you want to return the shoes, be prepared to pay an obnoxious amount in shipping costs as they ask you to ship back to China instead of the hub they use to re-ship them to you.
Further reviews online (which I should have checked) shows this company is known for this.

Great price
Great price, good value, im loving my leather boots. I shopped around on a lot of websites and this Texas company had the best price. I highly recommend their leather zipper boots.

Poor customer service
I purchased a pair of shoes from Madixa and the first time I pulled the laces the eyelet ripped. I have contacted 7 times to return the items and receive a refund and have been given a run around. The quality of the shoes is poor and they refuse to honor their product.

Long reply/no reply
I’ve emailed there support email, submitted online email on there website, even clicked the return link for my order but said oops, paid for some 70£ boots which when they arrived looked like they were 7£, look at your emails Madixa! (Been trying to action a return since receiving on Saturday!)
Update Managed to get a refund, after I spend 24.65£ sending it back to china…this return cost isn’t covered by madixa; although consumer act says they should cover the return cost? Never mind never using again, shoes weren’t even worth the refund cost which I’m at a loss with :)

I am very happy with the product
I am very happy with the product. I am wearing them now. Was not happy with the amount of time it took to receive. I sent an email asking where the product was coming from and was told A warehouse in Delaware but it was coming from over seas. So I didn’t receive it in time for my appointment I brought them for but I love the product.

I had to contact the company to correct my order. I accidentally ordered two pair of shoes, only needing one. They corrected the order and refunded my money!
I had to contact the company to correct my order, it was on a Saturday and I received an "automated" response telling me that someone would contact me "as soon as possible" so I wasn't really expecting much help until the first of the week. However on a Sunday afternoon, Matthew with the company notified me, stating that he received and reviewed my email and that he would take care of my issue immediately. He did however tell me that it would take 4 to 6 business days, but they would correct my mistake. I have recently found out that MY mistake was corrected by Matthew and the company, to which I'm very thankful

Great Customer Service; Choose Reinforced Eyelets!
The laces tore through the unreinforced eyelets of the first shoes ordered, but customer service did not hesitate to send the different style we requested as a replacement.

I ordered my husband shoes from the company.
My husband had me to order him a pair of Kapda Vintage shoes. When he received them he said they were very comfortable, therefore he had me to order two more pair of the same shoes. meantime the shoes came apart and he immediately had me to cancel the second order, which was ordered August 20, 2022, but they had already gone out. I contacted PayPal and Madix agreed to accept them back. The address I am to send them back to is in Abu Dhabi. Which is going to cost me $58.00, that is just one of the orders. It is a shame that you all do not tell your customers, that if they have to return their order for any reason the return is out of the country. which is very costly. I am disappointed in this company that you all are not forthcoming. Therefore I must say do not order anything from this company, very deceitful and not worth the hassle. D. Davis

I haven't tried the shoes on so I can't comment on them. The order/shipping process was as I expected. Not ever ordered direct from a Chinese manufacturer before I am very satisfied with the process. I am concerned however that a scammer asked for an additional $2 for delivery through an email at the same time my shoes arrived. That's troubling to me.

Good receovery
I ordered a pair of Mostello shoes with laces. I received a pair of slip-ons. I emailed customer service to return the slip-ons and get a replacement pair of laced shoes. The next day I received an email confirming a pair of laced shoes would be sent AND to just keep or donate the slip-ons. Mistakes happen but it's about the remedy that makes for a satisfied customer.
