The inverter fan is very loud and never stops running even when the battery is fully charged. The only time it’s quiet is when there is loadshedding. Seller stopped replying to my questions about how to correct the settings (if it’s even possible) and manufacturer does not reply to emails. All in all, terrible after sale service

Thank you for your feedback. As discussed in November, the size of the inverter is not design to be installed in an apartment but rather in a garage or a separate room as a 6.2 unit is generally used for large homes or businesses who run big loads. We do apologize in the slight delay in response due to the increase of call, email, WhatsApp volumes receive over black Friday. We are working seamlessly to improve and have a much smoother Black Friday this year. Settings are generally done by the qualified installer the customer appoints, unfortunately our inhouse technician was also overloaded with assistance queries over the black November period. We do hope that we will be able to serve you again in the future.

The battery I purchased is a 4.5kwh Fivestar lithium battery but max output is only 2.88kw. This does not meet my requirements however there was no reference to this on the specifications shared in the online store. I now cannot return the battery as it is used which is really frustrating because the specs should clearly call this out. Disappointing from Macsell.

Thank you for your feedback, as communicated on Whatsapp : "I understand, if the item has visible signs that it has been used then we will not be able to take it back, if the item is 100% without any signs that it has been used then we can exchange it for you ."
We did offer to exchange the battery although against our refund policy, so we are not sure why you would now state that we were not willing to assist and exchange the battery.
We were willing to accommodate and assist as best as possible, it's rather unfortunate to see the false comments made.
Please note that none of our batteries on our website state the maximum output nor does any of your competitors websites , we try our best to provide all the necessary info on our products which can be asked about prior to a purchase being made.

Good
Good, efficient, courteous and prompt service. Not quite a 5 star as a little short on technical advice and related follow-up support, which would take it from pure sales to wholistic support.

Dear Noxipho
Upon reviewing your order, it appears there was a mix-up in the models you selected. You initially ordered two different inverter models, specifically a 3.5kVA and a 5.5kVA inverter. However, the correct models were delivered based on your order. The 3.5kVA inverter was sent as per your order.
We did inform you that you had the option to return the incorrect inverter and exchange it for the 5.5kVA inverter you wanted. However, please note that the shipping costs for this exchange would be your responsibility, as the error was on your side.
We understand that this may have caused additional expenses and inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for any confusion. We strive to provide our customers with the best service.
If there is anything else we can do to assist you further or if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer service team. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we aim to make your experience better in any way we can.
Thank you for your understanding and for giving us the opportunity to address this issue. We value your business and hope to serve you better in the future.

Battery broke after 3 months
There I updated the title. Battery broke after 3 months. The battery was delivered on the 1st of August and has been disfunctional for the last 15 day. All other batteries bought elsewhere running on same MAKE of inverter are going strong. The batteries bought elsewhere have also been drained below 50% and recharged and are perfectly healthy. Those good batteries are in fact connected to other 2 seperate inverters in the house, we have inverters 3 of the same make. 1 connected to a lead acid battery, and another connected to a 100amp gel battery that was bought elsewhere about 8 months ago, perfectly helathy. Only your 200amp battery has "broke". Nowhere in the box or on the battery does it say do not drain below 50%. The Mecer inverter dictates when the inverter switches off, I don't sit and watch the inverter while I work.

Thank you for your review; we were surprised to see it posted due to a variety of factors. First, you purchased the battery in July, not two months ago as stated. Second, based on the information you've provided, you've damaged the battery by running it below 50%, draining it to 25%, and now claiming that the battery "broke" after 2 months. You've also added additional issue to your rating by mentioning that you've used multiple batteries in addition to the one you purchased on the same inverter. Mixing batteries from different manufacturers, sizes, and ages will cause substantial damage to your batteries.
I would use them again
Really quick and easy to order, great delivery times and no issues at all.
