If I could give less than one star I would. This company is a complete scam. Substandard item sent and then only Chinese address given for returns. Fortunately I paid by credit card and following a formal complaint I have had my money refunded. They also refunded the postage costs as they suggested I return the item to China. I would strongly advise against shopping with this company.

Avoid at all costs. I thought I'd take a punt on a dress I'd seen online, in hindsight wished I'd checked out the reviews first.
The dress was OKish but not suitable. The returns process is a complete disaster, I've had 3 emails (1 of which I had to send 4, yes FOUR, photos of the packaging, dress, close up and far away) to finally get the returns address which is in China and in the last email offered a 15% refund to keep a dress I don't want..
Just about to post and have to take ANOTHER photo of it with tracking on it.
Just not worth the hassle.

I ordered a top, it was a month late being delivered. The top didn't look anything like the photo on the website. When I asked for a refund I had to send it to China at my cost. I have been waiting over 3 months for my refund. The Customer Service Team say is in customs.

I will never buy anything from them again. I suggest no one buys from them.

Awful garment arrived. Tried to send it back but had to go to China!! Told them I was going to do a Charge Back and they refunded the purchase price without asking for the top back. A win!!

Product delivered was garbage
compared to the image of the product on the website.
This company is fraudulent.
The business is set up so there is no incentive to return the product for a refund. They expected to be shipped track and trace to China at your expense.
Do not buy from them!

Absolute rubbish and a con ! Purchased 2……. Poor poor quality…..to return them I’ve been quoted £23.40. Or, I can keep both dresses and they’ll refund me 15%…..
Do not order with them…..

So glad I came to the reviews , the profile is set up to look like a genuine boutique in London owned by sisters. Biggest scam going. People please do your due diligence before buying, always watch for the key pharses. Closing down sale etc. Biggest scam on social media , Fake sites made to look and read as if UK based companies, you might as well just had your money over as you will never get it back on returns. When challenged they post a fine print load of nonsense about non refund on sale items...and guess what, all items on the sites are sale!!!
Ratings on trust pilot should be changed from stars to 0- 10 , then we hit 0 .

This company is a total scam and don’t deserve even 1 star. Don't be fooled they ARE NOT IN LONDON BUT CHINA. Top I ordered was a cheap nasty nylon material, not as advertised and oversized. Customer services are deliberately useless and will only accept returns to China at a high cost.

The worst Experience of my life scam company I ordered £300 worth of clothes they came rubbish quality returned everything back the next day paid £70 for them to get to China two months down the line and no refund continuous emails saying apologies I will never see that money again. Please be aware this company is dodgy.

Total fraud. Do NOT touch with a barge pole. Package appeared to come from China. No sign of the lovely London based Mabel and Mae boutique anywhere. I paid £40 for a lovely looking knitted jumper. I received an utterly awful, badly made, synthetic sweat shirt. Not a knitted stitch in sight. Maybe worth 50 pence from a charity shop. I complained but they insisted that I would have to send it back to them within 14 days to get a refund and deliberately make it impossible to get a refund. Ultimately this is a total scam.

I would not even give this company one star … ordered a coat , it arrived faulty and paper thin , not as in the pics .
Still waiting to return it as they’re claiming that the warehouse staff are on holiday to process it . Appears they do this all the time . This company are rogue scammers . Avoid , I am going to try get a refund via my bank now as no hope with this company doing the right thing and processing my return / refunding . Shocking and appalling , they’re based overseas too , nothing to do with London at all , false advertising so fraud !!

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. As many do, I ordered 2 different sizes. The quality and material is not what I expected however I was happy to keep the first top that arrived however returning it has been impossible. I started the return within the 14 day timescale however the subsequent stalling emails and requests for different information continued past the 14 days so when I emailed to ask where we were in the return process the response I got was that we had exceeded the 14 days. Well of course we had by then! The other item that I ordered in 2 sizes was unavailable in the colour I chose and then in the next colour… I have given up and cancelled that order requesting a refund which has apparently been agreed however I don’t hold out much hope of seeing it.

Deeply disappointing experience — misleading product descriptions and obstructive returns process
I ordered two dresses from Mabel & Mae that were advertised as maxi length. What arrived were knee‑length dresses — a clear mismatch with the product descriptions. When I raised this, the company initially acknowledged my concerns but then changed their position and insisted the items matched the listing, placing the responsibility back on me as if I had simply changed my mind.
Despite the misdescription, they refused to cover return postage or provide a UK return address, even though UK consumer law requires sellers to bear reasonable return costs when goods are not as described. Instead, they offered a 30% “goodwill” refund if I kept the incorrect items, or a lengthy international return process at my own expense.
Their customer service team responded quickly, but the substance of their replies was unhelpful and contradicted basic consumer rights. Having since read other reviews, it’s clear that questionable returns practices are a recurring issue.
Fortunately, my payment provider reviewed my chargeback claim evidence and issued a full refund — their support was excellent, and I will be leaving them a glowing review separately.
I would strongly advise potential customers to read reviews carefully before ordering. My experience suggests that if anything goes wrong, you may find yourself without meaningful support from the retailer.

They are using false photos. They are NOT based in London. Products are nothing like the photos.

Don’t buy from them. Item was not as described , should have noted reviews but dress looked just what I had been looking for. Quality was better than expected but instead of a loose comfortable fit it was a skinny rib that clung in all the wrong places. I was offered a bigger size but would have had to spend more money for postage I asked for money back but again had to pay for a tracked return to China which was expensive. They kept saying how sorry they were for my disappointment but when I replied complaining about the way they operate have never heard back.

Absolute con, the item is complete crap and went straight to the charity shop, should have known better I thought I was more online aware than this, be careful it can get you when you don't expect it.....beware.

Definitely don't get what you see and you're dealing with a company in China.
Sadly accepted a 15% refund as the return process looked like I was on to a lower as well.

Please do not buy anything from this company, the service is so very poor. The item I purchased looked nothing like the picture and I asked to return it, several times they did not reply, eventually sent it back to the address on the outer package and asked for a refund. Although it was tracked to the address which is their UK warehouse they refused to give me a refund as they say I didn’t return it to their Asia returns address! Now going to small claims court to get my money back. I wish I had never heard of Mabel and Mae
