Close to being fraud. Ordered from a Norwegian webshop, no mention of import tax.
Not recommended.

Bestilte 3 par briller for snart 1 måned siden og har modtaget ordrebekræftelsen men endnu ikke modtaget mine briller. Jeg har skrevet 3 gange til dem og stadig ikke modtaget noget svar.

Altogether pretty disappointing experience. Glasses are ok for the cost, but the rest of service has left a bad taste: Bought from a .co.uk website, and my invoice shows I've paid UK VAT (I'm a UK customer), but then my delivery still took over a week as coming from Europe (no mention of this before ordering - just a "2-5 days delivery" mentioned on the website), and then I had to pay import VAT and duty. If I had known about this, I wouldn't have placed the order. Doubly frustrating as the value limit for import fees is £135 - I ordered a few pairs to try, so my order came to £137.

To add insult to injury, the "100 day risk free" returns noted on their website, isn't exactly true, as they subtract a c.£10 "restocking fee" from the return value. So I've had to pay a £10 returns fee plus a total of £38 import fees, all to keep one pair of c.£30 glasses. And the reclaim process for the import costs is so over the top, it's simply not worth doing for that amount.

Won't be using again.

Luxreaders har en stærk value proposition og et godt produkt og jeg har handlet hos dem efterhånden mange gange. På det seneste har jeg dog oplevet at de farver, str og bestemte modeller jeg gerne vil have er mere eller mindre konsistent udsolgte, og det er super frustrerende. Virksomheden kœmper tydeligvis med at møde efterspørgslen eller er ikke gode nok til læse sine kunders præferencer..:

There seems to be no way of communicating with them other than the email I have used which they seem to just ignore! Terrible!

Great pair of Specs with a super high-quality finish and feel! Will not be my last pair.

Impossible to return unwanted items. trying to do so i get a digital runaround. No possibilities to get in contact with company.

Always buy from Luxreaders, because they are lovely and in triplicate, as I lose them!

ordered 3 pairs of readers, one pair had an arm that was not straight, sent it back for an exchange. when the new one arrived it was the same as the last one. been trying to return the second pair but customer services are not helpful and just give me the runaround..so had to get them straightened at an optician at a cost of £15.00. Best stick to UK companies in the future

Have purchased reading glasses over the past 10 years but something has changed here. The wrong strength was sent out for two of the three pairs I ordered three weeks ago and all attempts to resolve have failed. All contact is through an automated system which is never followed up. The latest is that they can’t match my order to my e-mail address despite me sending photographic evidence.
Will push on with a formal letter but my advice is steer clear.

Ordered glasses and needed to return the other, had trouble with trying to do exchange, so at to do return and refund, did speak to customer service, by chat, and received my forms and free return postage.
Have returned all 3 pairs of glasses over 3 weeks ago but still not received my money back. Never will I use this company again

The glasses are fine, but the follow up customer service is terrible. On the LuxReaders website they have a 'Happiness Guarantee' which was part of what influenced me to buy. It says '
Happiness Guarantee ensures that we'll do what it takes for you to be satisfied with your Luxreaders. If your glasses break or you loose a screw, we'll replace them. Whatever it takes. No questions asked. Just reach out to us. We're here for you.'

Well, one pair of my glasses did break, just a week after buying three pairs. I reached out to the - all customer service enquiries are answered by a chatbot and its impossible to get a human response. The chatbot basically said 'No' and went round in circles. So by all means buy these glasses, but if anything goes wrong with the items themselves or delivery, you wont be able to contact the company and they dont honour the guarantee on their website.

Poor. No delivery after 3 weeks of waiting and no attempt by the company to help or follow up

This is not the first time that we have ordered from Luxreaders and in the past they have been good but sadly this time it has all gone wrong! One of the 6 pairs of glasses was broken when it arrived so I contacted them via their chatbot / email and provided a picture of the broken glasses. 5 frustrating emails later all you get back is "we will be in touch" again and again and again - But no action, no replacement glasses and zero customer service. This has really put us off ordering from Luxreaders again, if they cant sort out a VERY basic problem reported over a week ago and just keep on blagging us then I would suggest you avoid them as well. Zero aftersales service Luxreaders, shame.

Good design and quality.
Great delivery.
Goods priced well for the level of quality and service.
The goods are well packaged for delivery to avoid damage.
I would say the company would have very low return rates based on all of the above.

I love the rubber frames (no eczema!) the shapes (cool, which they are, even my kids say so) matt finish, great fit and look expensive (which they’re not). I treat them quite roughly (they don’t mind) and once I’ve trashed the lenses after about a year or 18 months I recycle and buy three more pairs.

So I love them.

I have bought several pairs of glasses and find them decent and reasonably priced.
The last time I ordered I got 3 pairs. Within 2 months the arm fell off one pair. I didn't do anything about it but when an arm fell off the second pair I contacted the company and they asked for photos.
I have chased twice and have had no response other than this is being looked into.
Very poor customer service.

The communication is very good, not too pressing. And the efficiency following the order is very impressive. Always delivered on time. And, of course most importantly, the glasses are really good. On the very rare occasions I have had problems with my orders the support has been very friendly and efficient. I really love Luxreaders as a company. Ed in Surrey, UK
