Ordered a floor light which took a month to come. Light worked using the remote but remote stopped working after 34 days. They refuse to sort as says they have a 30 day refund policy. They will not recognise that it is faulty and not providing a years warranty.

They are registered in the Netherlands so UK consumer law not apply since Brexit.

Deliveries delayed by weeks; customer serve refuse to give a delivery date, when the item arrived 4 weeks late they wouldn’t give me a return address or a refund. The product was very poor quality: they use photos from premium products sites to scam you. I had to resort to claiming a refund from my credit card. AVOID.

I bought a brass wall-lamp advertised as being IP44 to use in Zone 2 in my bathroom. What eventually arrived was not BSI or CE marked/certified, most definitely not remotely IP44, and worse, metal-bodied, not double-insulated, and not earthed. ie, potentially dangerous.
Seller offered a 50% discount to just keep it. But being 100% useless to me, I got my bank to refund me in full. I should have checked Trustpilot first.

AVOID! Item arrived not as pictured on website. Company refusing to refund me. I will contact my bank and trading standards.

I ordered a light fixture advertised with 25cm legs – the photos looked warm, bright, and premium. What arrived was completely different: actual legs 41cm (causing major overhang issues in my space), cooler/dimmer light than shown (clearly over-edited photos), and even the remote had black marks like it was used before. The item is cheap quality, nothing like the website promises.
The company claims to be based in the Netherlands, but returns go to a warehouse in China – expensive tracked shipping at my cost (likely more than half the item’s £55 price). They refused to cover returns despite their policy mentioning no extra cost for “incorrect products,” and instead pushed partial refunds: first 30% off to keep it, then 50%, refusing anything more.
The items you’re seeing on the website are likely not the items you’ll receive – it’s bait-and-switch with stock photos and false dimensions/origin.
After multiple emails, they wouldn’t budge on a full refund without me paying high return fees to China. This feels like a deliberate tactic to keep most of your money.
Absolute scam vibes – avoid at all costs. 1 star only because 0 isn’t an option.
Save your money and shop elsewhere!

The 2 lights we ordered arrived separately and in poor packaging which meant one light was damaged with broken glass and the lights were not as the pictures showed on the website, nor did they have the same measurements as in the description on the website. I have found customer service slow in replying and they are saying I am liable for the costs to return and that I am not entitled to a refund only replacement if I send them back at my expense. I could not recommend this company as it looks like they have copied Pooky lights website pictures and then send out poor quality vaguely similar lights.

Rechargeable table lamps - sup[posed to last 13 hrs - lasted 2! Company then offerred 50% refund to keep defective items and suggested I pay for return to China - website looks like its coming from netherlands - absolute sham - Paypal to their credit refunded the full cost - Beware - these were poor quality tat masquerading on a glossy website, with very dodgy returns processes which should be outlawed. These companions p[rey on you not wanting to pay the return postage to China! from now on I will only buy from companies who can validate their presence in Europe and not masquerade like this company does.

This company is pretending to be European and as stated in other reviews, is ripping off Scandi style lighting, making poor quality products instead. I've lost 100s of £s on 3 picture lights, described as dimmable, which aren't and the quality is rubbish. I'll now have to buy different ones and pay the electrician again for taking these off and fitting new ones.... making the cost much more than the lights. Please do not support this company! The minute I complained, they've ignored my emails. I hate to think of the waste they've created with these landfill products and I'm so sorry I got scammed.

I’m extremely disappointed with this purchase. The lights I received are not the same as shown in the photos and not as described on the website.

I specifically ordered dimmable lamps, however none of the lamps are dimmable. This is a major misrepresentation of the product.

To make matters worse, I later found the exact same product photos being used on another website, which strongly suggests these images are stock or misleading and do not represent what is actually being sold.

The quality does not match the price at all and feels like cheap mass-produced items being sold at a premium.

I have already raised a dispute and would not recommend this supplier based on my experience.

I purchased a wall clock that was advertised as having a solid wood surround expertly handcrafted. When it arrived a week later than indicated online, from China, the surround was made of cheap painted plastic to look like wood. The company has said that they could reimburse 30 per cent of the cost, or if I chose to return the product for full reimbursement, I would be responsible for postal costs - so basically asking the consumer, who was sold a lie, to pay further. I am waiting to hear back from them to see if they will make amends. I shall post a fair update once I have heard back. If it is a genuine error, they should come good and I will be happy to update this review. But if it is indicative of their operations, I will also advise in an update here.

Avoid this company as they copy pictures from a genuine product and send you cheap rubbish from China. Really poor quality and materials which doesn’t justify any payment at all. When trying to return they explain that it needs to be sent back to China at an extortionate cost. Be warned do not fall for the fraudulent marketing as they are utter scammers.

I bought a Christmas present for my dad from Lumin Lights, and it arrived faulty. Since then, they have refused to provide the return policy or issue a refund. Their customer service is non-existent, and it’s clear they have no intention of honoring their products.

Do not buy from this company, it’s a complete scam!

Avoid this website. It is a Chinese company hiding behind a European front.

The item I received looked nothing like the product shown on the website or described in the listing. It was not a minor difference. It was clearly the wrong item.

When I contacted customer service, they initially tried to insist that the item was correct, despite it obviously not matching the photos or description. Only after further back-and-forth did they finally admit it was wrong. At that point, they then tried to charge me for the cost of returning it.

Under UK consumer law, if a company sends you goods that are not as described, the seller is responsible for the return and must provide a full refund. They are not allowed to make the customer pay return postage for their own mistake.

This company tried to deny responsibility, mislead me about what I had received, and then shift their costs onto the customer. That is not acceptable and not legal in the UK.

Extremely poor service, misleading advertising, and behaviour that raises serious red flags. I would strongly recommend avoiding this site altogether.

They are crooks and will rip you off. Products are not as shown, they come from China and ours was broken. They refuse to replace or follow the law in the UK so we are reporting and getting our money back from the bank. Do not use

The clock wasn't as described ie there was no wood in it, just plastic. They explain their returns policy which seems just like any other company until you are told the return address, which is in China!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS OUT THERE.

I ordered a lamp from this company, noting that it would be shipped form the Netherlands.
On arrival it was clear that the lamp was not of the quality I expected and when I plugged it in the remote did not work.
I contacted the company and it has taken me a week of back and forth to get to a point where they would provide return instructions.
But here’s the catch… their return address is in China. Which means it is costing me 30% of the total lamp cost to return the item!

Overall a terrible experience. I would avoid at all costs.

Website is misleading - products come from China and more expensive to pay for return than item is worth.
Poor quality - my wall light had sheet plastic covering the LED bulb
Lead time was longer than advertised

I would give 0 if I could! Lights took ages to arrive, when they did, they were not boxed (clearly a cheap imitation of the product described on the website). They offered a 50% discount or returns are at your own expense to China and 'the item might get lost on return '
