would would rate lower than1 star if possible. I went into Lumber Liquidators with a plank of my existing laminate flooring I purchased from them about five years ago. I showed the store manager and he said he knew that floor, and he just ordered some for another customer. So I ordered the floor. They told me I would have to pay for shipping because they didn't have it local. They said they would call me with the cost. It took me 3 call to them and about a week but I got the cost. Over $500 for shipping which I agreed to because the flooring would match the existing floor I had installed previously. Next issue, the flooring was supposed to be shipped to my home but it went to their store which they admitted they mistakenly sent it to their location. I then had to pay my installer to pick up one of the two orders because they wouldn't deliver it. They still have part of my order and won't deliver it. The biggest problem came when I got the bigger portion of the order to my home, I noticed the new flooring was wider than the existing floor. I contacted the corporates office where after back and forth over 10 days they said they would not do anything to fix the issue even though their website has the specs of the floor at 8.03 inches wide but when it arrived it is actually 8.5 inches wide. Lumber Liquidators stated since it was a close out I was stuck with a floor that is not the same sizes as advertised on their website. I would recommend to not work with a company that will advertise one size and send you another and not stand behind it.
You Get What You Pay For
After being drawn in by the low prices, I ordered hardwood flooring from Lumber Liquidators. The salesperson in the store was friendly and gave me reasonable advice that I probably should have used elsewhere. Unfortunately, what I received could not be used to complete my project. 60% of the order was below the advertised grade. Roughly half of that, or roughly 30% of the total, was not installable due to voids, excessive warp, and other structural defects. Lumber Liquidators refused to acknowledge or correct the problem. If I need hardwood flooring again, I could buy 3x as much material, hoping I will get another good 40%, or I could spend the same money buying from a company with superior products, far less waste, and better post-sale service. I suggest you look elsewhere.
The sales person was not in full…
The sales person was not in full disclosure through this entire process. The process went up almost $3k after the initial quote. After discussion, the price was dropped by $900. When the installers came they said their contract indicated they would not move the appliances. After I complained about having to disconnect electric and move 5 major appliances multiple times, I was told the $900 went toward moving appliances. Later after I complained again because I am almost 70 years old trying to move these heavy appliances, they called the installer they hired. He said moving appliances was included. By the time they decided it was included I had already moved and reinstalled all of them and the installer only had to move fridge 1 time on to floor after laying it. LL said they would give me a credit. Originally it was $900 , then $400 and ultimately they only gave me a credit of $189.
I would say buyer beware and make sure you get detailed contract. I would never buy from them again because of this experience.
Bad customer services
We went LL Flooring in Tampa Fla. and order Coreluxe tobacco road . Paid up front 6100:00 dollar's. Waited for flooring to come. Part of order came in, 33 boxes did not come in. We were told it was back order till September. We found enough boxes but LL Flooring wanted us to pay shipping. They were not up front about having the flooring in stock they should have pay it. We cancelled the order. I WILL NOT GO BACK AND WILL NOT TELL FOLKS TO GO THERE.IF THEY DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS. VERY BAD TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!. The at the Tampa store were good to us but not upper mang.
I deeply regret not reading the reviews…
I deeply regret not reading the reviews before buying and installing flooring from LL Flooring (formerly Lumber Liquidators).
Just one month after installation, the boards in my living room began fracturing and cracking in multiple spots. Fortunately, this was the only area where I used their product.
I spent nearly four weeks working with their customer service team, only to end up with the same conclusion they could have shared from day one: the issue was due to my contractor not sufficiently drying the concrete slab or performing a proper moisture test—despite the concrete having cured for two full months before installation.
It’s disappointing how quickly they shifted blame elsewhere instead of taking any responsibility for their product’s performance under normal conditions. In my experience, LL Flooring does not stand behind their materials when problems arise.
If you’re considering purchasing from them, please take the time to read these kinds of real customer experiences first. I wish I had—maybe it would have saved me the frustration, cost, and hassle of dealing with a faulty floor so soon after installation.
Buyer Beware!!
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I ordered flooring and my contractor picked it up. As he was laying it, I remarked that it did not look the same as what I thought I had ordered. I looked back at my sales receipt and notes that the color/name did not match what was on my sales receipt. I contact them and they refused to do anything about it because 10 days had passed. Horrible company with terrible customer service.
LL Flooring Admits Failure But Keeps Customer’s Money
LL Flooring installed engineered hardwood in my house. It crackled lightly from the start, and I was told it would settle. Instead it became this loud, intolerable, splintering noise throughout my downstairs.
I chose LL Flooring because they advertised that customers can rely on their experts to help them choose the perfect floor. This gave me peace of mind.
They now admit outright that they should not have put this flooring in my home, because it is incompatible with the humid environment. They blame their store associate and installer for not properly assessing the conditions.
*But they also blame me, saying I should have done enough research to know their professionals were incorrect, and that I should not have relied on them.*
Since they found me partially to blame, they refunded only a portion of the cost. $6,000 down the drain.
I regret selecting LL Flooring and recommend purchasing flooring locally with a company that is concerned with the quality of their work and reputation.
Horrible customer service
Their installed ordered too much molding. Then they charged me a 25% re-stock fee on something I had nothing to do with. The sales associated that was handling my order terminated during the process.
Horrible experience …
It appeared that the ordering process went smoothly and the wood was delivered on schedule. To place the order, I was required to have one of LL Flooring’s estimators come to my home to measure. I paid $50 for this alleged service. When the installers came to lay down the floor, I was informed that the custom wood grills were missing from the order. Further, the area under the dishwasher was not included in the work order. After spending hours trying to figure out what could be done to move forward with the installation, either LL flooring, and or the installation manager decided that they could not do the job until the grills were delivered. In addition, two of the six of these required custom order based on non-standard size. I was very upset and tried to work directly with the store to sort out what could be done while the installers tried to figure it out on their end. Hours later, the installers left having done nothing. In the lead up to the installation, I had to hire a plumber to disconnect and reconnect several appliances in the kitchen. The cost of this is nearly $1,000. I had to move most of the furniture out of my living room, hire a moving truck, rent storage space, and do a physical move. I had to purchase plastic and other items to cover my surfaces. Because the stove is unavailable, we’ve had to eat out and use food delivery, which has become quite expensive. We have no seating in the living room and the holidays are upon us. It is almost a full week since the installers left without doing the work and I still have no resolution from LL flooring . I told the store manager I want compensation for the plumbing and other expenses associated with this failure on their part, as General Contractor, to order all the necessary materials needed for the job. The store manager suggested I contact corporate as there was nothing he could do for me on that front. I contacted the phone number provided, was on hold for quite a while, and finally followed the prompts to leave a phone number that I could be reached at when they became available. I never received a call back. The store manager also suggested I look for an alternative installer. Though I’ve made many calls. I’ve heard back from no one. The situation is untenable. I have no idea why the installer chooses not to move forward, especially as I was informed that it was my responsibility to tell the person measuring that I wanted the grills replaced. If that were true,we could say hypothetically that if I chose not to have them replaced they would have proceeded with the installation, which they refused to do. The role of the person measuring is to apply their professional experience and expertise to do the complete job. There is no way that a consumer would know that they have to call out any part of the floor separately. While the store has tried to be helpful, they repeatedly reminded me that they just sell the wood and it’s not their responsibility to deal with installation issues. As I purchased the measurements, wood, and installation with the store, I failed to see how they can make this claim. Indeed, I’ve had to make all the calls for status and received very few initiated by them. No one from corporate management has contacted me. There seems to be more finger-pointing than anything and I’m at a loss as to what to do next. All I know at this point is that they still don’t have pricing from the vendor they use for the grills and apparently can’t expedite the custom grills any quicker than 3 to 4 weeks which given the time of year is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend doing a turnkey solution through LL flooring. In all likelihood, I’ll have to cancel the whole order move everything back and start all over at the beginning of the new year. This has been a complete disaster.
THE WORST EXPERIENCE
PLEASE EVERYONE BEWARE!!
The worst experience ever encounter, I order boxes of discontinued floors and When I go home with them none of the 9 boxes was unusable. When I told the store and then corporate office, they told me all sales are final. I literally had the floor 72hrs. I never been through anything like this before. I have already contacted a lawyer, and I will be leaving reviews everywhere I can. Not everyone can afford to throw $1,000 dollars away. PLEASE EVERYONE BEWARE AND DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN AWAY!
Do not do business with this company
Do not do business with this company. They do not keep on hand inventory and only order as needed. They also have extremely high turn over in staff and can not provide accurate shipping info despite already taking our money. Terrible experience will not return to them.
In store employees were good.but
In store employees were good.
A complete fiasco from corporate and management.
I confirmed 3 separate occasions on a quantity. They gave 3-5 day ETA on arrival of hardwood.
3 weeks later, after I began inquiring, they said " we lost 7 boxes" or roughly 1/3 of what was needed.
Construction already started and a house floors are ripped up and no way to complete as they said"there's no more " . All the while still advertising the exact product.
The email chain was just bad and they only dug deeper on their idiocy. They will try to say anything possible to get out of any accountability.
Their corelux flooring LVT is the worse…
Their corelux flooring LVT is the worse trash I've ever used, spent 45k over 2 years with them and have replaced every last piece. Their lifetime warranty means nothing, what it boils down to is it is for the lifetime of the flooring which is about 2 years if no one ever walks on it, if you file a claim they put you on the phone with some clown that does not speak English and wants info that is not pertinent to the claim.
This is my issues:
This is my issues:
I had manufacturing defective flooring installed in my house and I brought it to the attention of the Lumber Liquidators store managers within 2 days at the Manchester NH store. It has gone up to customer service and the team leader. It has been almost 8 weeks and still has no resolution. The flooring was installed on 3/24/25 and today is 5/5/25. I paid over $7100 for flooring and spent another $22,000 at Cabinets To Go. I have spent so much money and have never been treated so terribly as I have had with your company. Your company is blaming the installers, and the installers are blaming you guys. All I want is my flooring replaced. And no, the stuff does not come off. No one has an answer after 8 weeks. What is going on with this company? The customer service rep Nathalie was yelling at me and said She was closing my claim as she had it with me, really?
I have asked multiple times to speak to the customer service manager and William said he is it and his title is a Team Lead, really? Also, I asked how long they have to review this claim, still no answer. You guys do not have unlimited time to resolve this, I have rights too.
I plan on filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (NH), the State's Attorney Office (NH) for fraud and I already filed a claim with my credit card company as I received defective product, and no one has resolved the issue. Buyer Be Ware!!!!!! I understand that Cabinets to Go bought Lumber Liquidator, not sure who to blame at this point!
I will never buy or recommend either of these stores.
Very dissatisfied EX customer!
Denise B.
This is the answer I just received. They want me to deal with the same customer service reps, lol.....
And the response is not the owner, it's customer care!

Good morning crap wood
Good morning, We bought 60 sq feet of 5inch plank by 3/4 in white oak hardwood grade 2 ..I am soo disgusted with what we had when we go it home..3 bundles, which almost half of the wood was between 2 ft and 4 ft with just a few 6-7 foot pieces wow soo terrible wood supposed to be 5 inch wide a bunch of it was like 1/16 wider or 1/16 narrower Our floor installer had to rip up like 4 different rows because of the big cracks between the rows.. alot of the pieces were damaged were the tounge and grooves were so disappointed the say they have the best warranty in the business wrong! wrote emails to head qts, no results actually called the store to complain, got now where got a phone call from a rep told her all the problems we were having with the hardwood she said she wouldn't help us at all with no kind of refund so we lost money with over 4 hours of labor to redo the bad wood rows we are just not happy at all we bought 365 feet of the same wood to begin our install from Missouri hard wood didn't have one problem with any of the wood now because of the 6o sq feet we bought for LL which is junk, we have to buy more hardwood to finish the job we have pics and videos that the floor install took with A WALK THROUGH to show the 365 ft of beautifully laid floor and the horrible install of the junk wood, with the big cracks between the rows.. We just want a refund of the $ 368 bucks we spend on 60 sq foot of junk wood terrible place to do business with

Lumber Liquidators LL Flooring…
Lumber Liquidators LL Flooring Installation Review - Buyer Beware
On November 27th, 2022, we had Lumber Liquidators install new flooring in our home. Following their instructions, we brought the flooring inside to acclimate on October 16th, 2022, and removed all furniture from the rooms on October 28th, 2022, in preparation for the floating floor installation. Unfortunately, just one year later, we are experiencing significant problems with the flooring.
The floor has separated in multiple areas, and in one spot, it has chipped and broken apart quite severely. We had a contractor assess the damage, and the repair cost for just one of the damaged areas is estimated to be thousands of dollars.
I have absolutely no confidence in the installers Lumber Liquidators uses. Despite the clear issues, Lumber Liquidators has evaded responsibility, passing the blame onto others. I was told they are not liable for the problems.
Based on this experience, I do not recommend using Lumber Liquidators for flooring installation. Furthermore, given their evasive behavior and unwillingness to take ownership of the poor installation, I would not even purchase flooring from them again. It's clear they do not adequately oversee the quality of work performed by their contracted installers.
This experience is a prime example of "buyer beware." Everything may seem fine initially, but be prepared for potential problems down the road, especially after the one-year mark. Our floor looked great until it started falling apart. I strongly advise potential customers to consider other options.
Do NOT Order Flooring from Lumber Liquidators
DO NOT ORDER FLOORING HERE.
1. Missed Deadlines: The promised delivery dates were missed four times.
2. Terrible Quality: The flooring delivered was badly damaged—completely unusable. It was warped, broken, and not straight. It appears the warehouse storage conditions were poor, and some batches were even dated 2021 (!!!).
3. No Return or Exchange: The company refuses to take the flooring back or exchange it, citing “technical” reasons for their denial.
Once again, this company delivered extremely poor-quality flooring and refuses to exchange it. I didn’t even ask for a refund—just an exchange. They’re breaking their own return policy and showing a completely uncooperative attitude.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE.
we had our flooring installed in July
we had our flooring installed in July. All went well except for 1 lvp at a high traffic area. was assured it would get taken care of despite the
bankruptcy. Well I've been patient. Called all over the place this morning. Got sent to different stores. referred to letters sent on the bankruptcy. so basically got the runaround. Too complicated to make heads or tails out of any paperwork. So much for the lifetime warranties.
No warranty that will do anyone any…
No warranty that will do anyone any good. Put the floors in during covid shut downs in 2020 and tried a warranty about a year later when the flooring was coming apart and cracking and they claimed it was performing up to their standards. Now in 2024 the whole thing has to be replaced and the company has no solution. It appears we were sold the wrong underlayment and this caused the thin planks to give and Crack. Now we have a huge replacement and cost to figure out. These floors are sold as is. Buyer beware. They do not stand by their products.
Had an estimate done on a 150 sf laminate install
Had an estimate done for my friend on a small (150 sf) room, laminate floor.
The installation estimate came in super high. They nickel and dimed him on the install, for example charged $15 to trim single every door jamb, 400 LBS of leveling compound (excessive), the list goes on and on. Plus, of course a pretty high "per SQ" install charge, which should have included a lot of the additional charges. Total charge for the room would have been about $3700. I bought hardwood flooring from them before, which I installed myself, and the price was pretty reasonable then, but this recent install estimate experience was awful.
