Stay away very unprofessional- we engaged them to chase a debt and they handled it so badly the judgment was set aside.

Disgusting Behaviour from employees especially talking to them on the call this morning, treat you like your not worthy of listening to, also they need proper customer training instead of over talking you, they think they have the rights to be heard and your not worthy of your voice to be heard, very disgusting behaviour I've had to deal with, sorry to anyone who are dealing with them you have my deepest sympathy and hope you resolve your issues, as this company doesn't care either way.

I strongly advise against using Lovetts Solicitors. In my experience, they failed to notify me that their client was having issues collecting payment from my account. Rather than investigating or attempting to resolve the matter, they showed no interest in communication or resolution—only in demanding payment.

Due to their mishandling of the case, the judgment they obtained was ultimately set aside, highlighting a clear lack of due diligence and professionalism.

If you are a business seeking competent and responsible legal support, I recommend looking elsewhere.

Used this firm for a simple debt recovery case and was really disappointed. Communication was poor, and I didn’t feel they handled the matter professionally.

Placed an initial inquiry with them for debt collection, misled me into sending key docs including identity docs, on their assumption that I would be going ahead, at the first instance. 2 of their so called staff and paralegal then gave me misleading and contradictory information regarding pricing and other key legal information over the phone vs what was actually in the pricing list & legally stipulated
When pulled up about the disrepancy in pricing and other wrong informaiton, they turned around and gave a non applicable excuse to turn me down.

Cannot tell us what the "invoice" was for. They write frightening letters to elderly and vulnerable people. Phoned them, they were clueless. They will do whatever their clients want without asking for any evidence. We reported them to law society.

I keep repeatedly receiving many debt recovering letters from Lovetts Solicitors which the case was passed over from the SCAM. I applied to become a consultant for the company, but ended up getting big invoice without receiving any service from the company at all. This is totally unprofessional that LS never check whether it's a legit case or legit company that you're working with before taking up the case and start chasing people for payment for the SCAM.

How can you send a threatening debt collection /pre court notice addressed to a company that hasn't existed since 2016? Incompetence.

Used them for debt collection, debtor paid invoices in full and then contacted Lovetts to query the legal fees. This triggered £75 of admin fees (3 x £25 for email admin) and when they paid, a further £20 to payment received admin when they asked for the payment to be made to them and not me.

Can't put no stars unfortunately, bunch of cowboys, was paying an agreed monthly payment and the a baylif know on my door added another £800 to my bill ,disgusting

Clowns chasing me over a debt in which “ there client “ sent me a refund for 😂 morons!

As a good will gesture I contacted them to let them know that someone they are chasing for money was no longer trading at a premises where I am now trading and that I was concerned about adverse credit reports being lodged to the address.
The ignorant attitude was terrible, they were rude and borderline offensive.
By the end of the call I wished I had not bothered to try and help and I ended up threatening action against them should they pursue the debt at the address.
This firm is a shower and a disgrace to the English Legal System. The sooner the Law Society look into this firm and shut them down the better!

Stupid peopel I never seen in my life they send me letter and email about a diger when I rent fore one week and the guys left hes diger there 1 month in my work place I did not want it there so this company coming up asking me fore the money I oready inform my selicitors regarding this matter if they contact them agen my selicitors will act

If I could give a negative star I would. What a waste of time amateurs. They state they are specialist if debt recovery, yet they knew nothing about any pre-legal processes. All they will do is send out an LBA (a template a child could pull off the internet), and then even that they got wrong. They state they charge £25 per correspondence in the following circumstances "If the debtor contact Lovetts, or you instruct Lovetts to carry out further correspondence". However, what they really mean is they charge you for any type contact with them at all, and if you phone you best get out your cheque book. Even if they have been cc'd into an email which involved no action by them or any form of instruction, they will charge you £25 as they say they "have to read it". Even though NOWHERE in their terms of payment is that scenario covered. Also if you challenge an error on their part or query their billing they will charge you £25 each time you message them. Don't use them, don't make the same mistake we did.

Lovetts Solicitors claim on their website they can send an LBA for as little as £1.50. It's a shame they do nothing to look into whether the company wishing to send the LBA is fraudulent, thereby assisting in fraudulent activity themselves. It's pretty disgusting as far as I can see and I would stay well clear.

Absolute jokers ,stay clear ,no empathy just a number

I just wasted two weeks with Lovetts to ask them to issue a simple Statutory Demand Letter. Firstly the lady went on holiday without any warning and nobody was able to pick up from where she took off so I had to wait for her to get back from holiday. Then, two weeks after sending her all my information, I was told that they could not help me as an overseas business which they knew two weeks before... Total waste of time.

As a small business owner, every penny counts. So when other people/businesses do not pay us, it really affects our ability to trade and grow. Luckily for us, I found LOVETTS via a search engine a few years ago. Having no idea what I was supposed to do, or when I was supposed to do it, etc I signed up for an account. Navigating around the website was really easy and before I knew it, I had submitted a case. Initially the amount I was trying to recover was extremely small, but within days of Lovetts sending a LBA (letter before action), our customer had paid in full!!! What a result for our small business! Since that first case, we have used Lovetts several successful times. More recently we had to take action through Lovetts and use an enforcement officer to recover our hard earned pennies, which was actually very stressful and it was an action we didnt take lightly. But Lovetts kept me informed by email every step of the way, answering any questions that I had. And yet again Lovetts were successful in helping us recover that outstanding debt. Obviously the pandemic has had a negative impact on many businesses big and small, so its even more important to know that we have someone in our corner, that we trust, who can help us claw back money that we are owed. I did actually read reviews below and can only give you feedback on my experience. LOVETTS are not a scam or rogue business. We are a small, family run air conditioning business, who are VERY GRATEFUL for their help, support and professional service Lovetts have provided since we joined them in 2019. I would have no qualms in recommending them to anyone, whole heartedly. Thanks to every one of their team, as they do a grand job - LP Air Conditioning

before sending letter to clients to recover money they should check that the claim is genuine not a scam
