Do not buy from these crooks!! I bought a helmet from them and incurred a £70 + import charge that I had to pay prior to Parcel Force delivering. Not a problem I thought as they "pay back all associated import fees" over 2 months later I still haven't had the money back. They told me I'd get it in a few days, I've e-mailed without reply, I finally gave up and rang them the week before last, customer service guy said he was going to come back to me, still waiting and still no money. Avoid at all costs!

The only reason this isn't 1 star is because the prices are good..

However as of writing this, I ordered an item a week ago which they had as in stock, it still hasn't even been posted yet. I received an email updating me 6 days after ordering that they will tell me when it has been handed to the delivery service.. Still waiting for that

They're website stats that UK VAT is paid, but it isn't and I had to pay along with a service charge to get it released for delivery.
They also state that any import charges incurred will be refunded, but they haven't, they have just stopped communicating.
Don't get conned, buy from the UK!!!

My parcel is held by Parcelforce pending payment of customs charges. Louis Moto’s website stated that all tax and duty will be paid by Louis which is obviously not true. I’m not interested in dealing with Parcelforce or Customs so trying to cancel the order and get my money back. Next time I’ll buy from a UK retailer

I orderd a few bits from here and then was told I need to pay import tax and they would refund me for it and then decided not to get back to me about it the import tax was 115 pound witch is extortion not happy at all will never be goin to this company again

I need a small part it was 83p when i went to order it the postage was £8.99 using DHL. The item will fit in a padded envelope and weigh nothing. Why not offer royal mail as well? Im not paying £9 to post a 83p item

I've had a great experience with Louis Motorrad buying from the UK. Reading some other reviews I was nervous to be charged customs etc, but all went through super easy. Delivery was fast, considering it comes from Germany (about a week). I ordered a jacket in two sizes - kept one and sent the other one back. Return was easy to arrange and I got the refund in full.

I placed my first order for some mirrors for my motorcycle and was very impressed with company and my responses to emails i sent 😁👍🏻🤝🏻

Great experience. Ordered the cheapest Givi top box, arrived really fast and taxes were all paid.

After all the bad reviews left on trustpilot placed during the Brexit exit period where 90% of international shipments to UK were simply delayed and lost, decided to share my own experience with this seller. So. overall, seller as seller, you buy, they send you stuff, but most surprised I was, that I received my parcel from Germany to UK on second working day (ordered Friday, received Monday) where I actually expected weeks! Will buy again! Definitely a good seller! :) Thanks

Missing parts. Wanted me to take pictures of what was missing from indicators. How could I.

They owe lots of customers, especially those who haven't received their goods in the UK or were not refunded the promised import charges they swear they will reimburse, they have even closed their Facebook page.

As a first time UK shopper who recently purchased a tent that cost over 500 Euros, I can confirm that Louis Moto is a trusted online retailer offering exemplary customer service and high quality items at very competitive prices.

Overall, my experience has been very positive. The telephone and email customer service for both pre sale and after sale enquiries were handled efficiently. The shopping process was easy and the dispatch was quick as lightning. And as promised, the UK Vat & Duties which I had to pay was swiftly refunded in a couple of days after sending in my proof of payment.

The tent looks and feels of high quality, very pleased so far. However, due to lack of space in my home, I won’t be able to inspect the tent thoroughly until Summer 2024; nevertheless, I am confident that Louis Moto will deal with any arising issue swiftly under their generous 2 year warranty policy ( 3 years with Louis Card).

I am glad to have discovered Louis Moto and will not hesitate to shop there again in the future.

I was dubious about using initially however the service has so far been really good. Prices really good but delivery a little on slow side. Very good choice on website.
I ordered a helmet which was wrong size and returned for refund. The second helmet attracted customs charges which were refunded as promised….my main concern but they lived up to promises.
My most recent order, (toolbox), arrived damaged in transit but was still usable and they offered a decent discount. I did have option of replacement item.
Currently just paid customs on another order….some sneak through, others don’t. Awaiting refund and delivery of these items now.

It all started on the 20 May 2023. Akro exhaust and parts purchased.
Email order invoice back from Louis sharing that an email would be sent when order is shipped.
1st chased up customer services on 23 May 23 for update. No reply. 2nd chase up on 24 May 23. No reply.
2 June Louis asked via email for rating on my purchase stating order was shipped on 23 May 23.
I replied on 2 June, order not received yet. Seemed to be stuck in Germany. Can you please help.
Auto reply back, Thank you for your message. We will process your message as soon as possible.
3rd chased up customer services on 6 June 23 for update. Please help.
Devika picks up message, 6 June, and informs me of tracking number. Also that I will have to pay customs charges and taxes. A full refund of customs charges will be refunded to me.
Contacted UK Parcelforce on 7 June asking about parcel from DHL Germany.
Parcelforce replied 8 June. Your parcel is currently being held by Border Force (BF) Stores as they are needing further information from you, it's likely that they will either need a declaration of contents or an invoice of value for the item.
On 12 June I emailed Parcelforce I have not received a phone call or a letter yet. However the tracking now states the parcel is now at my local depot, Leicester. Since 9 June.
On 13 June I phoned Parcelforce. After 30 minute wait I was able to pay custom charges and taxes due. Great! This means Leicester can now release parcel and deliver it.
Also emailed Devika with customs charges for refund.(13 June 23).
Next chased up Devika on 16 June still no refund. Any problems? Devika replied it’s high season so maybe a delay.
Hohum. Long story short. Exhaust delivered 15 June 23. Refund received on 20 June 23.
A whole month for this sorry tale to conclude. My advice to Louis. Pick up on quicker on time comms to customers and stick with DHL the whole way through. Also paying customs charges and taxes in advance would go a long way to stopping customs delays in both Germany and the UK. I ordered seats for my bike from a Dutch Moto shop and it took 3 days door to door. Now that is what I call service.

Ordered a new Tankbag from Louis as they highlighted on the website that they cover the UK VAT and custom costs.
£50 saving on lowest price in UK.
Took a couple of weeks to arrive, kept checked the tracking and it was awaiting payment of custom charges.
Next I received a letter from Parcelforce saying delivery wouldn't be made unless £53.58 was paid, contact Louis they said pay it and we will refund which is what I did.
Now comes the kicker, paid the parcelforce bill online so I got no electronic record of my payment, as I didn't have to input my email only my bank details.
Sent over copies of the Parcelforce invoice, bank statement showing payment and also all custom documentation that was in wallets on the package to Louis.
All you get back from them is have you sent everything to us, been going in this loop fpr 4 weeks now and still no refund.
So it will be the first and last time I use there shop, not worth the hassle and it ends up more expensive than if you just ordered it through Sportsbikeshop.

Great product,excellent price,reasonable delivery costs,arrived only 1 day after the scheduled date, happy with that for Spain to UK, dispatch could perhaps have been a little quicker but overall an excellent service..👍

Excellent service, quick and competitive price

Found the exact model helmet at an unbeatable price. Customs charges were refunded as promised making it an even better deal. The helmet was sent quickly and arrived in perfect order. My communication with the company was always answered quickly.

Paid for item. A few days later when trying to track parcel it says in delivery depot awaiting customs charges. Had to go to delivery depot and pay £43.30 to receive my parcel on top of what I had already paid for my order. Was told by Lois moto to pay and i would be refunded and i was in a few days. Great service and good communication from customer service.
