Great experience. Rhys, Rob and Rimi kept me posted on the tenants, even on weekends and after office hours.

I have been so impressed by the team at Moving City. They were unfailingly polite and dealt with everything in a very efficient way. And very friendly as well! I would not hesitate to recommend them.

They provided good and attentive service. It is hard when renting a property that is split between to agencies but Marius was really accommodating and committed to provide helpful service. He ensured everything was arranged on time and followed up with me regularly until I got the keys to my new rental.

Really good experience! I had a viewing for a property on Tuesday, and the staff made it possible to get me moved in on Friday! And a special thank you to Marius who was always so kind and helped me with the heating, and repaired my light!

Move in went very easy and smoothly without any issues. Marius helped answer any questions we had and with setting things up.

The staff have always been responsive, polite and accommodating. Everything is managed smoothly and you can trust they will try their best to sort out any issue. I highly recommend Rob and the team.

I contacted MovingCity to gain a copy of an old tenancy agreement from some years ago. It was a key document needed for Brexit residency status of my niece. I was contacted by Samaha Ahmed in the accounting and HR department. She rang me (in Paris) that evening and within 24 hours had the matter sorted. It did not turn out to be an easy document to find so I appreciated the extra lengths Sam went to for me. She was fantastic.

My experience with Moving City was excellent. I spoke first with Rhys who was really invested in my search and always replied quickly. I was shown a few great properties by Marius in Aldgate. Despite being busy, Marius was really attentive and willing to take time to answer my queries. I ended up going for a different property but my experience with this agent was really fantastic.

I have dealt with Ripon on a number of transactions, most of which have been challenging. Despite the difficulties he has been superb throughout the process, keeping me informed and going over and beyond to deliver results. Highly recommend

I have been renting with different letting agencies/landlords in London and Moving City was the worst by far.

Firstly, I viewed the property unfurnished and was promised that furniture would be provided by a certain highly reputable furniture company, which convinced me to sign the contract. I kept chasing for updates, however was ignored and left waiting, and only when I moved in did I realise that cheap furniture that was falling apart was supplied instead (NOT from the company they had explicitly stated prior to me signing the tenancy).

Secondly, I encountered various maintenance issues (radiator not working, radiator falling off its bracket, ceiling leaks) which were ignored for weeks without any updates, despite me continuously chasing Moving City.

Thirdly, when the contract ended and I had to move out, I waited for a full month and kept chasing for the return of the deposit, however they kept asking me to wait, without specifying any issues with the flat that would cause this delay. I had to pursue the DPS' statutory declaration route in order to force their hand on this.

Overall a very unpleasant company to deal with, who become extremely unhelpful once you sign the tenancy agreement.

Edit: I am surprised at the speed of Moving City's reply (compared to my prior emails!). The property ombudsman requested for the fee to be paid to me - it was definitely not from Moving City's goodwill (or lack thereof). They also tried reporting this post, however it just got reapproved. Take of it what you will.

It was my first time renting a flat in London and after a horrendous experience with another real estate agency (story for another review), Moving City stepped in at just the right time to help me secure an apartment in London at a very short notice. The whole process from viewing the property, signing the contract, to handing me the keys was very smooth, and any questions or issues I had were addressed in a timely manner. I especially appreciated Rhys’ effective and friendly communication and Rimi’s patience. Definitely recommend!
