Lola Could be the Greatest Travel Program out There if . . . .
If I could I would have given the platform of Lola.com probably a 3 and Customer Support a 5+++++. I have dealt with many customer service, support groups. I have to say that the group at Lola is fantastic, every one of them. Not only are they very helpful, if they don't know the answer they will find out and actually get back to you with the answer. They are so polite and you can tell even on a chat that they are very personable people. Whoever hired and trained them should be given a 5 ++++ also. So many people these days don't have a clue what Customer Service is.
Why I would only give Lola's Travel Platform a 3 or even a 4 is this. Let's start with the good. It is super easy to use and has many useful things (like incorporating Google Maps) for the Traveler. Being able to put in your places you go to a lot with the Hotels you like to use when you do is great. Now for the not so good. The setup process is disjointed and confusing. In my opinion, it should be all in one place for the Traveler or the Admin to set up. As it is now, I have to Go to the Manage People thing and invite them and wait for them to respond and then I don't even use that screen ever again. Then I have to go into Manage-Setting-Company Credit Cards and set up their Credit Card and give Permission. Then I sign in as the Traveler so I can set up their Loyalty Cards and their preferences. One place, one screen, and no confusion. What really makes me crazy is that the flights, hotels and cars are separate and I cannot print an Itinerary with all three on it with the information they need. I can't believe you cannot do this. Every other travel program I have worked with, (the last being Axiom) gives you an itinerary. To me, that is the main turn-off. There are a few other things I would like to see but I sent a long list to Lola not to long ago. Lola has the opportunity to be the best Travel Platform out there especially now that they have partnered with Axiom. They need to fix a few things first.
Very quick with answers
Very quick with answers. I’m a little unclear as to whether I should chat or email my concerns. Also, it would be helpful if the support team would send a link to an answer “when available” so I can pass that along with the answer to my employees. Very nice support team and willing to listen!

Would give you 5 stars if the platform was compatible with Google Chrome. I can only get Lola to work on MS Edge. Which is highly inconvenient. I also wish that within the search field you would only receive approved options.

Our company is currently piloting Lola…
Our company is currently piloting Lola with our travel team and some of our seasoned travelers. The travel consultants are great; polite, professional,very responsive and quick to solve any issues. If there are any gate/flight changes their notification time and communication to help is outstanding! We've had a few issues with travelers not receiving their invitation from Lola, but they're always looking for a solution to any issue we may be having. Also, it seems like they are working towards adding more features in 2020 to make booking that much easier for Travel Planners/Managers and business travelers in general.

As an corporate we have already asked for the few features which is missing.
1) Even if we continue to make bookings for them, employees can get in touch with lola directly, for any assistance needed. Lola can be contacted either by email, call or live chat. The number to call Lola service team is 617-917-2210, to email that team,
2) concerns raised with them, with regards to the incomplete information provided for the services offered by airlines on the tickets booked. Basic information like baggage information, terminal information, meals, etc is not displayed. To our surprise, this information is not even readily available with Lola's team, if contacted, and even they have to liaise with airline and only then will be able to share information with us. They currently don't support this details, and the team will share feedback with product development team, for any possible enhancements in future.
3) Recent case discussed, wherein a cancellation within an hour of booking was required, whereas since the travel was within 24hrs, Lola's executive wasn't able to confirm, whether the cancellation would be FREE or chargeable. As per the call, cancellation within 24hrs, but at-least 4hrs prior to flight departure should be FREE, whereas the executive we discussed the case via chat, wasn't sure on the same. They will investigate the case with executive to check further more on the same.
4) Can book airlines participating in Amadeus GDS only, hence Air India is excluded as they don't support their inventory with Amadeus.
Having 24/7 access to a travel…
Having 24/7 access to a travel concierge is extremely convenient, and they're usually able to negotiate great deals. Ease of booking travel is also great! Sometimes there are glitches but overall it's an incredible tool in our companies' arsenal.

We've been very happy with Lola.com. My only complaint is they do not always display the least expensive option.

Use another app
Lola provides nothing to the travel consumer that other sites are not already providing and better. There is no rerouting assistance when connections are missed. The fares are higher than booking direct. Frequent flyer program benefits are diminished. Lola would have to significantly retool itself to be a viable product.

The signup process just didn't work when I went to accept my invite. Reaching out to customer support didn't provide any answers and it took hours to just sign up for an account.

It's not a good site to find travel…
It's not a good site to find travel options, and the emails it produces can't be consumed by TripIt. If it wasn't mandated as a tool for work, I wouldn't use it.

Changed my chosen flights without saying anything
I’m really not a fan. Despite picking criteria for my flight to get to a business meeting on time, Lola changed me to multiple flights that would mean I miss my meeting. If I didn’t question why I had six flights to pick seats for instead of two, I would have been screwed. I tried several times, checked the filters, made sure I picked the flights I wanted, and it kept changing them without telling me. I don’t have time for that. Oh, and it cost more than what I chose!
Much easier to use any number of other travel sites. I don’t get what people love about Lola, but this was a non-starter for me.
