The walk in downtown Cape Town with Inga was a great experience. She showed us so many special places (the flower market, the Mandela Museum, the Company Gardens, Bo Caap) and made us to better understand the city in its complexity and its diversity.
Furthermore she gave us some important advice on what to do in Cape Town. I would highly recommend a walk with a local and would book it again myself.

I came to Milan not really knowing what to expect, and I’ll be honest — I almost didn’t book a private guide. So glad I did.
Laura spent four hours walking me through the Duomo, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the Navigli district, explaining the oldest Milan, the second oldesr, and the whole time it just felt like exploring the city with someone who genuinely loves it. She knows her history inside out, but she tells it in a way that’s actually interesting — real stories, little secrets, things you’d never stumble across on your own.
She also has this lovely way of reading what you’re into and just… going there. I never once felt like I was being rushed through a fixed itinerary. And her English is perfect, so everything came across exactly as she meant it.
A few of the hidden spots she took me to were honestly my favourite moments of the whole trip. The kind of places you only find out about if someone who really knows the city takes you there.
If you’re visiting Milan for the first time, just book her. You won’t regret it.

I did a 6 hour private Tour with Dieter Heiser in Cape Town. It was a perfect start to get to know Cape Town. He is very knowledgeable everybody knows him and greats him. He brought me to areas where not everybody would go as a tourist. Lot‘s of nice shops, Cafés and nature and culture. It was definitely worth it! Great job - Dieter!

Walking tour of Venice was excellent, tailored to what we wanted and we had a really good discussion with Giovanni, he even found us a cafe with the best coffee we’d had in the entire trip!

Shim knows all of the secrets and great hikes in town and also great food places.

We had a great 2h private tour in Vienna with Felix. Hé is very knowledgable, answering all our questions and adaptive to our interests. And he’s also a nice guy, what more can you wish for. The tour concept worked excellent for us.

Fraser is truly an incredible photographer. He is exceptionally talented and so kind and patient with people. I didn’t even know how to pose for a photo, but in just one hour, he taught me everything I needed to feel confident and comfortable.

The photos are absolutely breathtaking beyond anything I could have imagined. The entire photoshoot was such a wonderful and enjoyable experience.

I’m so grateful for his guidance, his professionalism, and the beautiful memories he created for me. I highly recommend him to anyone looking not just for stunning photos, but for an amazing experience from start to finish.

This is a wonderful way to have a unique experience being guided through places by someone who has a knowledge /passion for their home town.
It's also helpful to be told some information about the history and culture of the country being visited.
As well as being given pointers about places to eat and to visit.

Martin Strommer gave us an excellent trip which took in all the places we wanted to see.

Issue has been resolved

We took the train to Hamburg to spend the day with a local guide from Lokafy through the Viator website.
The girl (Alexandra) was a refugee from the Ukraine, was not licensed as a guide and didn’t even speak German. She had no knowledge of the city and kept us entertained by asking questions about the US. Lokify did not want to refund the money , but it is very obvious that they are not vetting their guides at all.
Will never book a guide through them or Viator again.

My sister booked us a six-hour private tour of Ancona through Lokafy, and we were fortunate to have Sara as our guide. What an absolutely remarkable experience!

Sara’s historical knowledge is both impressive and immense. She guided us through the entire city, allowing us to truly capture the essence of Ancona across many different time periods. We experienced the city’s various layers of history and got to see it like locals would - something you simply can’t get from a standard tourist experience.

What made Sara exceptional was her ability to learn what we were most interested in and then tailor the experience accordingly. She helped us discover things that perfectly fit our interests and was incredibly open to letting us do our own research along the way, expertly guiding us through those discoveries as well.

Beyond her historical expertise, Sara’s practical help was invaluable. Her recommendations and assistance with arranging taxis were outstanding and made our entire visit seamless.

Our experience would not have been nearly as magical without Sara’s expert guidance. This was truly a five-star experience all the way!

I would highly recommend Lokafy when visiting any new city, and if you have the opportunity to take a guided tour with Sara specifically, it’s an absolute must. This tour transformed our visit to Ancona into something truly special.
