Paid for stone in March: with delivery date of 5th April agreed

No stone has yet to arrive.

We purchased blue slate for our front garden and very pleased with it. The stones came clean, of fine shape and beautiful colour.

The delivery man was extremely professional and polite.

The customer service was excellent, I felt as I was a valued customer. Yes, I do recommend them .

Had a problem with Black Ice gravel. On top of the bulk bag looked very good Just finished spreading 2 ton from another company, needed this to finish the job.
Been in touch with the company and they have fully resolved the situation full marks to them

The stones delivered were exactly what I expected. Also I contacted them about a problem I had with their delivery firm, they dealt with the issue satisfactorily, so I am very happy with the service I received.

We had spent some time deciding and finding the right stone we needed to our driveway. Not a cheap project so wanted to make sure we got this right!
We settled with loads of Stone as they had the product we wanted at a very competitive price.
The customer service were brilliant - thank you to the ladies I spoke to in team- they were very responsive, professional and helpful offering me very sensible options based on the type of surface I had and what we needed.
Delivery driver was also great, again very helpful and tried his best to put the bulk bags as close as he could to save us heavy job

Didn't deliver on requested date, but delivery driver did call me and ask if he could leave the delivery outside and where I wanted the stones left. Top quality stones - swale pebbles 40mm very pleased with purchases.

Customer service team were very helpful and responsive when I emailed them.

The stone delivered was very good quality and exactly as expected. However the online tool to calculate how much you need is appalling. It was off by 50% or so, saying I needed much less than actually. This means I would have to pay more for the same amount again, and pay shipping again instead of ordering a larger bag.

Have ordered and the money has been taken. No delivery and absolutely no correspondence. All phone calls and emails ignored

Yorkshire Cream gravel 20mm

After reading the other reviews I was worried about placing an order with Loads of Stone. I had placed an order with another company and their delivery was confirmed for w/c 22nd May. During that week they changed the date to w/c 17th July without notifying me. I saw that Loads of Stone had stock availability so I contacted them on messenger to check if it was correct. They replied / confirmed within 24hrs so I placed an order with them. My order arrived the following week, on my preferred delivery day. Every time I contacted Loads of Stone I got a response within 24hrs. I can’t fault the service I received (and my garden is now looking lovely). As a comparison the other company took longer to process my refund that Loads of Stone took to deliver my order.
Only improvement that could be made is delivery by hi-ab as moving 1tonne of gravel from bottom of drive led to very achy backs the following day.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!

COMMUNICATION IS ZERO - NO REPRESENTATIVE TO MAKE ANY QUERY WITH. WEEKS LATER WITH NO DELIVERY DATE PLANNED OR ANY COMMUNICATION OF WHEN GOODS ARE ARRIVING. HAVE TAKEN THE MONEY WITH NO INDICATION THAT GOODS WILL EVER BE SENT.

ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A COMPANY THAT PROVIDES ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Description is Scottish Pebbles 20-40mm.

Arrived on time, On a pallet.
But where not all 20/40mm size.
Most are 40mm/80mm and a few are over 80mm.
Product covered in white salt.
Had to re-buy from TP online to finish job.
Stones them self are quite good quality, and a good colour but way to big for 20/40mm.

No communication regarding delivery. Failure to deliver within agreed delivery window, website states 3-5 working days however it’s been 7 days and I’ve yet to hear anything about my delivery. When I try using the web chat feature, it tells me the order has been fulfilled and will not respond to further queries. They will not answer calls or provide any information about your order, there is no way to cancel as they will not respond to you.

UPDATE-
After looking through FAQ's I found an alternative number to the one on their website and google details and I was able to make contact. They explained that the delay was caused by waiting for the product to be in stock and offered compensation for my delivery charges.

While I appreciate the gesture, it should not have taken attempting to call 20+ times and escalation for me to be informed of the order being delayed.

The courier was helpful to a point but could only provide me with the information they had which was limited to them not having received the order to dispatch.

The product was good.

However, we had several problems. Firstly, the product was not delivered on time - 4 days later than stated - and that's only after I had phoned and complained.

Secondly - the office answered my first call - but after the first conversation, they decided to stop answering my calls entirely.

When the stone finally did arrive, it was on a courier lorry which only method of offloading other than a small 'pump truck' which couldn't deliver to the house - so about 10 bulk bags of stone were left on the road outside my house for me to move myself. You would think they would send bulk bags via a hi-ab lorry or similar?

Would not deal with again.
