I recently purchased a Vauxhall Combi 7-seater car from LMC, given that I’m based some 200 miles away in Devon I initially had some concerns that I wouldn’t be able to view the vehicle in person before making a purchase. I need not have worried, the salesman I dealt with (Paul) could not have been any more friendly, helpful and professional; communication was excellent throughout and I was sent a detailed video of the vehicle that reassured me it was in the condition as described.

Having made the decision to go ahead, delivery was arranged later the same week, with all the necessary paperwork sent over well in advance. Communication with the delivery driver was also excellent with a call the day before to confirm delivery. The car had been fully valeted and arrived in immaculate condition, I also received a courtesy call the following day just to make sure I was happy.

I would highly recommend LMC, the entire experience was absolutely faultless.

I was lied to from day one, I bought 2 cars and promised delivery, they then told me the guy had been fired as he'd not being working right. Car arrived one key, sat nav SD card being taken out. Called Will in branch and his response was ' you took a while to pay for the car so ' disgusting attitude quite frankly when spending £16,000 plus..

Worst car dealership I’ve dealt with, liars and the vehicles are never as advertised.
The car was unregistered the Bluetooth did not work. I had to go a resolve the Bluetooth issue myself after I purchased the car.

After 8 weeks no logbook which resulted in me getting pulled over multiple times by driving an unregistered vehicle.

James lied to me on countless occasions about information regarding the car! ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

Please stay away from this company!

The director called me after weeks of complaining and he had no resolution to offer.
Would highly recommend against using these guys.

I bought my car in June this year from LMC CARS, 17 Days after having the car the brakes started squeaking, windows weren’t closing completely, contacted LMC to arrange to bring the car in which was arranged eventually, 5 days later Engine Management Light came on, I was advised to get a diagnostic which I did and gave them the code so they could have the parts ready for it to be repaired and booked the repair date. Took it down to then find out the car wasn’t going in for repair only for a diagnostic. Brakes needed replacing as they close to the legal limit (even though the car had just had an MOT by their repair centre 3-4 weeks prior) Engine management light was the Nox Sensor which they ‘fixed’. Windows were fixed, but they kindly used duct tape to put the door seal back in tact, a perfect example of what sort of car dealership they are. A week later the car was making a loud clonking noise every time I applied the brakes, the brakes were also squeaky, I spoke to the Manager Sirena who approved for me to get the car looked at and repaired out of house as long as the price was reasonable because of the distance the dealership was from myself. When taking my car in for repair again, the brake pads were found on the car back to front only giving me 50% of braking, the discs were so worn down they should have never had pads applied to them, the Engine management light was never repaired, they just plugged in a computer and turned the light off & a bolt was missing from the NSF Brake calliper which could have caused the wheel to seize and cause a crash!
The brake pads, discs & wear sensor got replaced again, although LMC had already fixed these issues 2 weeks prior, they agreed to pay the invoice!
They also failed to tell me the whole drivers side had suffered damage/crash & had a respray after having a reading done. They claim to carry out a 300 point inspection on their cars & pride themselves with customer service & making sure their cars are roadworthy which couldn’t be further from the truth.
I opened a complaint with my finance company to reject the car which was an 8 week process, at this point I’d had the car for 6/7 weeks and the car had already been in repair twice. The car was NOT SAFE TO DRIVE. I sent them an email to reject the car in August, I still to this day have never received a reply or ANY communication from the dealership, not even an apology. The finance company, only ever got to speak to the manager Sirenna, because the owners Spencer & Dean Kent ignored all emails and phone calls. After weeks of endless phone calls to the finance company trying to get a courtesy car and updates the car finally got removed. 11 weeks of Hell!
LMC CARS are still refusing to take responsibility of their actions and trying to find a loop hook to avoid taking the car back so the car is currently in hold until they decide to own up to their action’s. How the staff at LMC sleep at night knowing they sold and repaired a car that was a danger to mine & my family’s life’s is beyond me. I could go so much more in depth but the base story is more than enough to help people steer clear of this company!
If only they knew the stress, the worry & the upset they have caused, how can they push someone to breaking point all so they can keep money in their back pocket!!

The only way this company can improve is by shutting down before they kill someone!

Barnaby & James arrived to buy my car. The process was very smooth, and Barnaby was very polite, and complimentary about the car. The funds arrived promptly as promised. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is that they didn't have trade plates with them, so I had to trust them that they would process the ownership change with the DVLA. It would have been preferable to change the ownership whilst I was in attendance to them driving the car away and me potentially getting a parking ticket! In all other respects, I would recommend the Company.

LMC arrived this afternoon to buy my car , they were professional and wouldn’t leave until payment was confirmed and I had received an email from DVLA stating that the car was sold into the trade.

I had a visit from Barnaby & James today who were interested in buying my car. The process was very smooth, and they were very professional. The funds were processed straight away which was really impressive. I would definitely recommend the Company.

All seemed good to us. Very friendly and very helpful. No strong arm heavy sales tactics for value-added extras and so on. Fair price for our trade-in. At the end of the day you're buying a used car, so there's going to be some good luck or bad luck. But we are pleased so far – the car was well-presented on collection, and Mo helped us a great deal to drive off with correct paperwork, insurance etc. all in place. And so far we're very happy with the vehicle.

We collected a brand new Citroen EC4 from LMC in June 2022. We love the car and the performance of LMC sales staff was excellent.
However once we rolled the car off the forecourt the customer care stopped.
We took the car back to them for its first year service, it took them nine days, and still the car has not had the service completed. They are blaming Citroen for software issues, but I personally believe that the issue is just incompetence, I do not believe they have the knowledge to maintain a modern EV.
This saga started in May 2023, it is now September. We have a loud knocking from the front suspension, and in May LMC told us the part has been ordered.
At the beginning of September I called on and spoke to a member of staff on the service desk, to try and find out when the service would be completed, and when the part would be fitted.
I was told that the part would be in on 4th September ( isn’t it miraculous that an unavailable part for 4 months is suddenly available in 4 days when you are stood at the service desk).
We were told that our car would be collected, and a loan car provided on Monday 11th September, and the car would be in for a week to fit the suspension part and complete the service.
I was promised Email verification of this.
No Email.
No car Collection
No service.
I don’t know if it’s just plain incompetence or if they are prepared to lie to you just to get you off the premises, but I would not recommend this firm of charlatans to anyone.

Excellent service provided by William and the team. Really courteous, professional and willing to listen and provide the time to understand our needs. So impressed by the service that we will definitely use LMC again to purchase any future cars.

The process was made extremely easy by Kevin and his team at LMC. Extremely friendly and would highly recommend purchasing a car from them.

I just purchased a new car from William at LMC Great service from start to finish. William made the process simple and very quick. Thank you William I’m sure I’ll be back in a few years !

I would avoid buying any car from LMC. So many issues & 8 months with an engine problem!

Firstly the car was advertised with sat nav and car mats but this was not the case. I took the car to a main dealer who confirmed that the car has never been set up for sat nav, and the start up maps memory card would be needed, which cost me £500.

After buying the car, and driving home, the tyre pressure warning came on, I pumped up the tyre but it kept loosing pressure. It went back to LMC but they were unable to find a problem.
The issue continued so I had a local garage investigate, only to find that the wheel was cracked.
I reported this to LMC who said they would not cover the cost for a new wheel.
As I was unable to find a single wheel, I had to buy a new set at £800.

A few days of owning the car the engine light came on.
I informed LMC and returned the car for the fault found and fixed. But since then the car has been back countless times to "replace parts." 8 months on, the issue is not fixed and I've coverd an additional 600 miles driving to and from LMC.

After taking the car to a main dealer they reported that the same problem that LMC knew about 8 months ago is still a problem.
A part needs to be replaced, a part that LMC had told me they had replaced.
That part would cost £1,000.

LMC are now not responding to any form of communication.

It's disgusting to for a car dealer to lie from creating the advert, selling the car and through to after sales.

We will see what the court says
