Such a poor service. Do not waste your money and time
Such a poor service, time to leave this incompetent bank. Lloyds Business routinely block purchases despite assurances there are no blocks set. Even with verified payments, items are blocked - but they do not advise you. You have to wait for your item or service provider to inform you. This undermines reputation and confidence. This service is anti-business. AVOID.
Edit. I spoke to Fraud department. 30 mins on the call but they finally assured me all blocks had been removed from my card. 2 days later.. Amazon orders all cancelled as card still blocked. £8.50 a month for this awful service.
In addition, when they do phone, it comes through as a random UK number.. the type they also tell you not to answer. Why can't the online card verification be enough??

Don’t use them
Don’t use them , shut most of there banks down .
Due to a missed bounce back loan payment they shut all our accounts down and all we got was one tex .
Could not use our cards or make any payments . Told it could take 8 weeks to sort it out .
We are now in a mess as can’t make payments for new jobs which our customers have paid deposits in for . Missing order deadlines , this is not right at all. Please go to another bank .

Quickest business bank account ever opened
Quickest non internet business bank account ever opened, great comms and all cards, passwords and login received within 4 days of opening - 7 days in total. Much better than 12 years ago when a Lloyds business account (my first) would turn the application around in 3 months.

Submitted my application on the 3rd of June….
I wish I had a positive experience with Lloyds. It’s been 5 weeks since I applied for a business banking account. My business has been running for over 3 years and I wanted to switch to a high street bank for ease.
Within the first 7 days I was requested to upload further information, which I did. Since then I’ve had no further communication at all.
My last communication was an automated one on the 16/06/26 to say my application is taking longer than usual. I now cannot access the tracker at all.
I will now need to find an alternative bank after hearing nothing back from the accounts opening team despite them initially communicating with me via that email.
The tracker even said accounts take 4-8 days to open and if it had stated it would take in excess of a month I wouldn’t have applied in the first place.
