I could not recommend this company more. I absolutely love my Smart Chair 1, which I've had for quite a while now, I took quite a lot of time to decide what chair to buy and from what company as I had made costly mistakes with expensive active manual chairs before and wanted to get my first electric chair right. It is a small owned business and Toby the owner interacts heavily with customers and is very knowledgeable and helpful which I really liked. He is happy to answer questions, helped me pick the perfect chair and the company have been able to help me with any small problems or questions I have had since. Ordering small parts or extras accessories you want is also really easy and quick. For me, it has been the perfect experience, after quite a few other not great wheelchair buying services and I will be going back for my next chair.

If you are ever looking for an electric wheelchair I can't recommend anyone else other than Lith-Tech Mobility, I did a lot of research on other models and I kept coming back to theirs and their company so I took the plunge & I had a Gold Demo and they didn't disappoint me one bit. They not only knew their product but they knew about what disabilities would suit which type of chair and the chairs are set up for you before you leave and you are happy with it (if you purchase one). I have had mine a week and been on 3 times taking my dog out for a walk which I never did with my previous chair, and I still have a full battery light. I'm even considering getting rid of my mobility scooter that I used to use for dog walking, it's that good. I'm so impressed. Thank You Toby & Paul.

Helpful expert advice and instruction to chose the right product as all disabilities are different so the staff recognise this and the abundance of patience.

Great service help solve issue quickly and effectively in good time

Incredibly responsive. No annoying auto switchboard. Calls go straight to the business owner. Very knowledgeable. I ordered my chair on a Wednesday afternoon and it arrived early on Thursday morning in a completely different part of the country. Good quality product. Can’t fault the experience. I wish all companies were like them.

Paul was very professional and thorough in determining my requirements. Chair easy to unfold after removal from the box and instructions also easy to follow. My son had no problems getting me started. Now at 91 years, all I have to do is learn to steer in a straight line as the joystick is very sensitive! I like that the chair instantly stops when you take your hand off the joystick. Very reassuring.

I wanted to replace my budget light weight folding electric wheelchair with something more robust. I reviewed and contacted a few wheelchair suppliers and decided to go with Lith Tech based on their reviews and the fact that they don's sell unreliable budget chairs. And both Paul and Toby at Lith Tech took the time to analyze my unique needs, advised that in my case I rather come in to feel the different options before making a decision. I tried the two different options out as well, and they were right - for my unique needs the Carbon FS was ideal rather than what I had in mind initially. They didn't treat me as just a sale, else I would've walked away with the wrong chair.
The chair itself is great for my needs! Light weight, yet very durable, easy to fold and to remove the battery and it takes me everywhere I need to go. It is much more capable than the name suggests. But please make a point of speaking to Lith Tech before making your choice - every person's needs are a bit different and mine is quite unique.

They have also been giving me assistance and advice weeks after my purchase and I have confidence in their integrity, products and services. I will be a returning customer!

I have had my original lith tech chair now for 5 years. It’s fair to say it’s been through its paces! I have used it for day to day stuff like work and shopping and dog walks, it has also been to Barbados with me. I don’t worry about it at all, it does what it’s meant to with no hassle.

When I needed an extra chair it was a no brainer to come back to this company.

Toby is great, super helpful and knows his stuff. I look forward to a further 5 years of happy wheelchairing!

Just for clarity, my original chair is still going strong I just needed one to keep in the car for outings and another one for me to use at home.

I ordered a replacement bag that goes on the back of my wife’s electric power chair, it arrived the next day in the afternoon. The old one was 5 years old and needed replacing.
Couldn’t get a better service than that.

My wife’s XL developed a slight problem with one battery failing to lock into place on carrier. Power chair still operated but reduced power. Nearly four years old and first issue ever. Telephone call to Lith Tech and resolution to this problem offered via email instructions and photo. Instructions followed and immediately resolved problem. Again, exemplary after care from this company. I cannot think of any company who would respond so quickly to a request for help. Most would abandon you and try to sell new product! My wife sends her thanks to all at Lith Tech for their compassionate response.

The friendly and knowledgeable staff ask many questions, to ensure that the product(s) they recommend meet your individual needs, and that you understand the benefits. This is followed by a “Test Drive” and full breakdown of how to get the most out of your chosen Model. From start to finish a very re-assuring process.

Ordered the SC XL which arrived very quickly. Easy to set up and does exactly what it say in the videos. It has changed my life since I am able to get out much more. Highly recommended.

Staff were friendly patient and polite while giving a thorough and detailed presentation of the wheelchairs available.Had an in-depth practice, encountering various everyday obstacles.All in all ,fantastic experience and the chairs are strong, versatile and competitivly priced!

As others have warned, read all the negative reviews for this company and avoid them at all cost. I am sure Toby will reply to this review, making out like I was the rude customer and lie about what they did to help and whether there was a fault. If you read other reviews you will see this is a pattern.

I have been not only let down, but subject to aggressive, rude and extremely unprofessional emails and treatment from Lith Tech Mobility. I think most of their positive reviews will be from people who did not have a faulty product, or because Lith Tech offers gift vouchers in return for positive reviews.

I travelled a fair distance to try and buy a power chair, however when I first properly used my chair I realised it had a fault with a motor. After reporting and trying to remedy this under warranty, I was met with hostility, accusations that I had damaged, dropped or crashed the chair, and refusal to accept that there could have possibly been a fault. I was told that the noise could only be caused by trauma and there is no chance it left their shop with a fault, even though I had the issue from day one.

The emails first turned rude from someone called David but these were nothing compared to the abuse I later received from the CEO, Toby. I was patronisingly offered a phonecall to discuss how the chair is being used, as they say I must have caused the motor fault. I thankfully missed Toby's phonecall and then asked for communication to be by email. The emails I then received were extremely rude, aggressive and unprofessional, as well as inaccurate. At no point did I stop speaking to them, I purely asked for contact to be by email. But Toby kept on saying how I was refusing to talk to them. I was called a "nasty customer" and told that I can go and be another companies "problem". I would find this completely inappropriate from any business, but it is even worse this comes from a company that will be dealing with a high number of disabled and vulnerable people.

I have attached some screenshots of messages from Lith Tech in my Google Review. I note from other people's reviews that they have had to put up with this type of abuse on the phone. And Toby goes through and responds to each review making out that the customer was the problem.

The emails mention me "threatening legal action" which comes from my response to their claims that I had damaged the chair. I had said I had the cover if I needed it when these type of accusations are being made. They said that the noise of the faulty motor could only be caused by trauma and that they were "reluctant" to replace even one motor.

In the end, rather than honoring their warranty, Lith Tech sent a box to me and demanded the chair be returned. It seems Toby clearly took a disliking to me saying there was a problem with one of his products, and so took away the chair, and with it my freedom. This was instead of sending out any replacement motor or taking the chair in for repair.

They have since sent another email since returning the chair telling me there was no fault, but I have multiple videos proving there is a fault and a partner that worked with electric motors for years.

I am seriously concerned by how this company, and in particular the CEO Toby, treats and communicates with disabled people. I hope this review will help to prevent other people dealing with this awful company.

My experience with Lith-tech couldn't have been better.
I did a lot of research to find a folding electric wheelchair that suited my needs, had good capabilities and was airline friendly. Finally, after watching most of Toby's videos on YouTube and comparing with various other companies, I decided to take the plunge and give Lith-tech a call.
I spoke to Will, who very professionally and patiently spent forty minutes going through what I needed from a chair and which chairs would best suit me and my disability. On Will's recommendation I went ahead and ordered a Smart Chair Recliner in black with some recommended additions (extending foot plate, wraparound backrest and travel bag) and spare batteries.

These guys really are super efficient,
because within four hours of placing my order I received confirmation from the courier that they had received my parcel!
Now, due to it being Christmas my chair wasn't delivered next day (Friday) but the following Monday. Not a problem to me and totally expected.
Now to the chair...it is truly brilliant!
Everything was present and correct, very well packaged, extras fitted and ready to use out of the box. It is very comfortable and the recline and extending footplate is great for my back. I'm going to need some practice as I'm used to using a scooter but I took it for a spin to the postbox and it handled everything. I live in a village with very varied terrain, dropped kerbs, rough pavements and some quite extreme cambers, both flat and on hills. The chair did not take me into the road once. I had of course utilised Toby's very useful advice videos on taking cambers and felt very safe, secure and in control.
I am so impressed and very pleased with my new chair and with the professional five star service I received from Lith-tech.

Everything about my wheelchair and the advice given by Paul was excellent. He asked the right questions and listened carefully to the answers so that my wheelchair was exactly right for my needs. There was no sense of being rushed or pushed into anything. He was so knowledgeable about the products and sent me appropriate links to the videos which would be helpful to me. (You might know that there are soooo many!) Thanks Toby for the videos and clear explanations. The firm has supplied some ramps which make it very easy to get the wheelchair in and out of the car. There are bags for batteries and chair for when we fly, which will make it a much easier experience than it might have been. Once I made my decision it was all sorted straight away. All in all dealing with Lith-Tech has been a great experience. Thank you Paul! Thank you Toby! Thank you workshop!

I spent weeks researching wheelchairs after realising my mobility scooter wasn’t suitable for me. Although it worked, it caused arm pain because the tiller didn’t move backwards and forwards. I knew a powered wheelchair would be better, but I had no idea where to start.

My local mobility shop had very limited options. One suggestion was to put a cushion behind my back to move me forward, which didn’t feel like a proper solution. I also test-drove a super-light carbon wheelchair that pulled me towards the road and then I couldn’t get up a kerb, so that was quickly ruled out.

The quality of the chair is excellent, and knowing spare parts will be available for years is a huge reassurance.
