I waited nearly a month for my order and it’s now being sent back with no delivery attempt having been made.
I waited nearly a month for my order. Finally the update said it was with the courier and was scheduled for delivery on a certain day. Then I got a delivery delayed message. Ok, fine. I was told an updated delivery day/time would arrive within 48 hrs. Didn’t happen then, without being informed an alleged attempt was made on a Sunday. Who delivers on Sunday’s? As i wasn’t home (or expecting a parcel) it was sent to the local post office parcel depot. A new eta was sent to me. So, I was at home all day waiting for the delivery window. Before that window came and went an update said “We’re returning your order since it wasn’t able to be delivered successfully”. It wasn’t a failed attempt as no attempt was made (again, I was home all day). It’s now going back to LightInTheBox. Fancy website. Hi-tech updates and tracking. Anything but actually delivering the package.
Absolutely awful service and product
Absolutely awful customer service. Returns are imposdible. Waterproof hiking trousers definitely NOT waterproof

I ended spending over 200 dollars which was double the amount I was to spend. Will not recommend this business. Sorry

I purchased a light bolero top, it took nearly three weeks to arrive. It didn’t fit right and just didn’t feel comfortable (cost £35 with postage) I therefore tried to proceed with returning it. This is the information I got from customer services regarding returning it

Delivery can take 2-4 weeks, and a refund is issued only after our team receives and inspects the item.
To help you avoid this hassle and expense, we're pleased to offer you two special solutions. Just click your preferred option below – no need to reply to this email, our system will handle your request automatically:

Needless to say I didn’t go ahead with returning it. I cut my loses. I wouldn’t advise anyone to use this company.

Poor quality and impossible to return
Products are of poor quality (BUT priced cheaply, so not surprising) and they make it VERY difficult to return defective items. A shirt I bought was supposed to be a medium but was very baggy and loose. I attempted to return it and found it almost impossible as LITB makes it as difficult as possible to return items. In the end I didn't return it and refused their offer of a 10% credit to keep it, as I don't intend to ever order another single item from LITB.

I've tried so many times to speak to customer services to order an exchange but I have never had a reply so I assume i'm stuck with this coat. Also another jacket that I ordered arrived today same problem too small, very poor quality i'm not even going to waste my time trying to contact someone again.

An awful experience if I could offer light in the box one star then I would I informed them that I wanted a refund. The emails went backward and forwards which then resulted in expiring the seven day warranty. I was offered 20% and 40% discount and awful experienceand I would not recommend this company.

Awful experience
Ordered sparkly fit flops , not true to size and not good quality at all nothing like photo on website . I contacted customer service for advice on how to send back . They offered keep item with refund 30% , receive an award of 50% to spend on website. I sent another email saying I want to return for full refund . Another email from them it would be the best choice for me to accept 50% off item and keep it !! THEY DO NoT Fit and are VERY POOR QUALITY. I have now sent final email to reiterate I want refund and a return form to be able to do so . I have never experienced such poor service, I will never order from this website again and warn potential customers
BUYER BEWARE of Shady LightInTheBox
Would give this company a zero if possible. Dress styles & descriptions are stylish and on trend so I took a chance, thinking this company was a more stylish alternative to JJ'sHouse and Azazie. Ordered a standard size dress on July 26th for an out of town wedding on August 22. After payment processed, find out the dress must be customized, even though selected a std size. Email responses from LITB arrive only once within 24 hours so the order is delayed over 4+ days. No actual customer svc or phone support to correct their measurements. Gave up due to the slow back & forth wait for email reply. Requested to cancel & refund as their delays means dress now unlikely to arrive in time for event. Told nope, no can do. Requested an expedited shipping option, willing to pay for it except no such option exists, only US Post Office regular shipping. So, dress that doesn't fit arrives on August 21st, too late to be pressed or tailored for event. Useless. Week long customer service email with an unhelpful company agent to no avail. Won't refund dress & won't send shipping label to return unopened jewelry. Lesson learned...saw the same dress available through Amazon with legitimate return policy. Protect yourself from this scam company.
Light in the Box has many sellers
Light in the Box is just like Ama##n, it has thousands of sellers so not everything you get on there is garbage or has bad customer service! I just ordered a made to order vintage style cocktail gown for a convention I am attending. The dress comes in 56 different colors and only showed a photo of one color option. I was hesitant to buy, because it wasn't exactly cheap. 2 weeks later I received my dress in the mail and it fits like a glove, the workman ship is beautiful, it looks just like the photo. My only complaint is that it did not come with a great zipper which i will need to have replaced.

Beställde tre t-shirts/pikétröjor med grafiskt tryck. Vid leverans var pikétröjan utbytt mot en med annat tryck, en annan tröja såg i princip ut som den beställda, men med urvattnade färger där fält med klart gult och vitt i bilden hade samma nyans av kaki, och den tredje som på bilden hade en häftig 3D-effekt var tryckt så att den effekten gick förlorad. Även sömnaden var undermålig. Jag förstår att de så maniskt pumpat reklam från det att beställningen las, förhoppningen måste vara att man ska hinna handla igen före första leverans innan man inser hur dålig varan är. Jag har nu (försent) läst om svårigheten att returnera varor och få ersättning så jag tänker inte ens försöka.
Sammanfattningsvis: Räkna med dyr frakt, att få andra varor än du beställt eller som inte ser ut som på bilden, är sydda med låg kvalitet, och som dessutom (enligt andra) är svåra att returnera eller få ersatta.

Really rubbish Quality
I received the three items I ordered - all 3 were way too small, horrid fabric, colours nothing like the photographs. To get a refund you have to return to CHINA!!! Nowhere on the web site does it tell you its a Chinese outfit, the cost of postage is horrendous!! Their response says sizing is all my fault, but I've returned the package, let's see if I ever get a refund, but advice is don't buy from them!!

No refund of damages items and no care!
I received defective items and inaccurate measurements so I complained and they offered me refund but until now nearly 2 months I have not received the refund yet and they sent me email that the problem has been resolved from their end and can not do anything about it. So yes I received the rubbish and lost my money. So be careful don't shop with them ever!

Uncaring and Unconcerned
I bought some clothing from this company, after two weeks I enquired where my items were I received a 'no reply' email. After several more tries I eventually got an answer saying my items were on its way, after about a week I enquired again with the same reply, items on its way. By now it was 8 weeks from my original enquiry. I then asked for a refund but was again told my items were on its way but held up at a sorting house. On my final enquiry they said my item had arrived and I should check with neighbours. I still have not received my order so had to take things further to try and get a refund. This was now 3 Months from my first enquiry, not once did they apologise or take any responsibility. Based on my experience I do not recommend anyone to use this company.
